We're back for our final preview of the season as the panel assemble to discuss Tottenham Hotspur's relegation shoot-out fixture against Everton on the final day of the Premier League. Tottenham only need a draw to make this all go away. Everton are winless in six and are playing for nothing but pride. To even be in this situation is still hard to process, but we're here. There are 9 possible outcomes on Sunday. Only one sends us down, we discuss the mental impact of the season on us all and the importance of Spurs continuing to play top-flight football. Roberto De Zerbi personally requested a coach meet to take place ahead of our final game of the season on Sunday, as we welcome Everton to N17, we debate whether or not this is the right decision and if this will help galvanise and lift the team before the game. We discuss the impact of captain Cristian Romero's absence from the stands, as his agent Ciro Palermo claims that despite heavy speculation, the Argentine will not be attending Belgrano's match in Argentina on Sunday and nor will his client be present at Spurs' final game of the Premier League season on Sunday against Everton, to support the team. Roberto De Zerbi defended Cristian Romero's decision to return to Argentina ahead of his side's crucial final-day Premier League match against Everton — but says he “100 per cent” understands fans' anger over his decision to miss the game. The panel also react to the developing story Sebastian Kehl is expected to join Tottenham Hotspur as their new sporting director pending confirmation of Premier League safety, according to Sky Sports. We finally close on all the team news ahead of the game and where the match will be won or lost, ahead of the Club's biggest ever league game in their recent modern history. One point keeps us in the Premier League. The biggest game of our season is Sunday — and our captain has chosen to be in Argentina. The Originals previews Spurs v Everton — a final-day survival game — off the back of Roberto De Zerbi's press conference. Jim is joined by Si, back in the UK, and Stu in a 42-degree Dubai. And we open with a thank you, because we've passed 10,000 subscribers. We get into what's at stake (a point at home and we're safe), what De Zerbi's "I burn, I burn" line actually means once you translate the Italian, and the team news — Solanke and Maddison available, and whether either should start. We talk through how De Zerbi sets Spurs up, why Everton having nothing to play for might not help us, David Moyes openly wanting to send us down, Djed Spence's England call-up, and the keeper question De Zerbi flatly refused to answer. Then the big one: Cristian Romero, in Argentina for his boyhood club's final rather than our survival game. We go through "I'm not stupid", the telling "until now", the Ben Davies contrast — and the bigger question of who should captain this club next, and why it probably shouldn't simply be Maddison. Plus your member questions, "I miss Captain Sonny" and whether we let Son go a year too soon, our final-day score predictions, and a loan watch on Mikey Moore's outstanding season at Rangers. The Originals is the panel show from Oh So Spurs — higher-quality, more nuanced Tottenham content from fans who've lived every minute of this season. Smarter than the angry-pundit register, but still nervous supporters at heart. If the episode was worth your time, please follow the show, leave us a rating, and share it with a Spurs fan who can't bear to look at the table. And to the Oh-So-33 crew — keep it lily-white. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Sports & Entertainment Financial Planner and regular contributor Adam Osper along with returning guest Kieran Maguire who is a British academic, author, and broadcaster. Kieran specialises in the finances of association football and wrote the book The Price of Football and also is a co-host of the podcast alongside comedian Kevin Day. We discuss the importance of survival for Tottenham Hotspur on the back of a week which has seen the Club record back-to-back wins for the first time since the opening fortnight of the Premier League season. We reflect on just how much Daniel Levy's legacy hangs over the Club and whether The Lewis Family's decision to remove him without a contingency plan was one of the biggest mistakes of the season, despite the growing fan un-rest towards him personally. We debate the true cost of relegation for Spurs this season and how and why it could ultimately effect them for years to come. Pre-planning is also raised on what that looks like now, on the back of the news that Tottenham are ready to offer Luka Vuskovic a bumper new contract. Spurs director of football Johan Lange has reportedly travelled over to Hamburg recently to speak with Vuskovic about his future in North London. Spurs are also reportedly interested in goalkeepers James Trafford and Bart Verbruggen, with Guglielmo Vicario expected to join Inter. Meanwhile one of Cristian Romero or Micky Van de Ven could leave, while Radu Drăgușin may be sold, opening a pathway for Vuskovic into the first-team. Adam also touches upon his theory of Spurs having free deals in place for Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi if they stay up, as Kieran predicts in a year's time whether he will be reviewing another set of financial accounts with The Lewis Family still at the helm of the football club and what any sale or takeover could like for Tottenham Hotspur. Jack is joined by James Maw from The Athletic to try and make sense of another incredibly turbulent week at Tottenham Hotspur. The pair kick things off by exploring Roberto De Zerbi's comments post Sunderland. We ask whether the famously intense tactician taking the squad for a lavish dinner and claiming they need a 'father' rather than a coach could be the Hail Mary we need right now. The conversation then turns to the news that Cristian Romero will miss the remainder of the season. Jack and James reflect on what could very well be the Argentine's final game in a Spurs shirt, asking if the mainstream media narrative has unfairly influenced how sections of our own fanbase view our first cup-winning captain in 17 years. Frustrations then shift towards the boardroom, as we vent about the deeply tone-deaf Tottenham executives posting personal corporate achievements on LinkedIn while the club's top-flight status hangs by a thread. We question whether this perfectly illustrates the absolute disconnect between the suits and the terrifying reality on the pitch. Looking ahead to a monumental clash against Brighton, the lads discuss whether De Zerbi can actually pull off a desperate result against his former, highly in-form side. Finally, James dives into a massive selection of your listener questions. We explore the potential revisionist history surrounding Daniel Levy, debate whether we would actually dominate the Championship given our previous cup struggles against Tamworth, and question Tottenham's lack of progressive passers. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Darren Hart and Gary Ward as we reflect on Roberto De Zerbi knowing what the Tottenham Hotspur experience is all about after a crazy first week in charge. The Italian only took the helm last week yet within days Spurs fell into the bottom three without a ball being kicked, that was just after losing Mohammed Kudus for the rest of the campaign due to a set-back in his rehabilitation through injury. De Zerbi then lost his first game at Sunderland with Nordi Mukiele's deflected effort deciding the encounter and Cristian Romero injuring medial collateral ligament meaning he will miss the remainder of the season. We discuss where we are in the battle for survival as Spurs remain two points behind in-form West Ham United. Three behind Nottingham Forest. And desperately in need of a league win — something they have not achieved since December. Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero will miss five to eight weeks with a knee injury, meaning he will miss the remainder of the season for Spurs. However, the 27-year-old's World Cup dream very much remains alive, and he will have time to get fit to start for Argentina. We debate if he has already played his last game in a Spurs shirt. We close on being united around the fact that the Brighton home game has become similar to our most recent Premier League home matches, one of the most important in our modern-day history in our battle to retain our Premier League status. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Compère Richard Cracknell, Broadcaster Marcus Buckland and Billie T as Roberto de Zerbi's first game in charge ended in defeat at Sunderland as we fell to a seventh loss in eight league games. Appointed two weeks ago following the departure of Igor Tudor, the Italian was unable to change our immediate fortunes as he made his debut as our Head Coach, seeing his new side go down to a narrow 1-0 reverse thanks to a heavily deflected goal from Nordi Mukiele just after the hour mark. We discuss De Zerbi's team selection and tactical decisions taken in the game and what he would have learnt ahead of a reunion against his former side Brighton next week. The panel also debate with only six games remaining and Spurs' Premier League survival hopes no longer in their hands, whether the players can mentally cope under the pressure and drag us out of this relegation battle as we sit, 18th in the table. Two points below West Ham United in 17th and three points below Nottingham Forest in 16th position. All three teams have six games left to play. We also touch-upon the refeering display from Rob Jones as Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro were all cautioned by referee Jones in the first-half, meanwhile Brian Brobbey, who swung an arm in the direction of Pedro Porro during a tussle and pushed Cristian Romero into Antonín Kinský which resulted in the keeper having to wear a head bandage for the remainder of the game and Romero in tears as he came off with a suspected medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury, remained on the field unpunished. Jack is joined by Adam Michie to pick through the wreckage of a miserable defeat at the Stadium of Light. The pair discuss the perceived lack of fight on display against Sunderland, asking if this squad has already accepted its Championship fate without so much as a whimper. The loss further compounded by the opposition manager's brutal post-match assessment that Tottenham simply weren't strong enough to worry him. We then turn our attention to Roberto De Zerbi's first game in charge. We analyse how De Zerbi Ball translated to the pitch and question the massive, surprising decision to leave Xavi Simons out of the starting lineup. The conversation inevitably shifts to the consistently poor officiating we continue to endure. Jack and Adam ask if it is time to buy into the conspiracy theories after the referee completely ignored Brian Brobbey's blatant push that sent Cristian Romero crashing into Antonin Kinský. With Romero now potentially out for the rest of the season and maybe missing the World Cup, we ask the tough question: are we shedding tears for Tottenham losing our only competent defender, or for Argentina? Facing the very real prospect of the drop, we then dive into the terrifying financial realities of relegation. With over £831 million in net debt and a massive looming drop in revenue, Adam explores whether this is truly end-of-days stuff for the club, before we desperately try to find even the smallest glimmer of hope to cling to. Suj and James review all the football and key FPL talking points from the Gameweek 25 weekend which concluded with dramatic scenes at Anfield as Manchester City kept their title challenge alive. That win featured a late Erling Haaland haul, surpassing Bruno Fernandes own double digit haul against Tottenham, but neither were anywhere near Cole Palmer's 20 pointer as he recorded a first half hat-trick at Wolves. There were also key wins in the battle to survive as Leeds beat Nottingham Forest and West Ham won at Burnley were Crysensio Summerville scored for the fourth game in a row. Now focus turns towards the Arsenal Double Gameweek. Should Gabriel be Triple Captained? What's the best Arsenal three? Should any Wolves be considered? And James has a defensive headache, and not just in FPL, because his captain Cristian Romero has given his team another one ahead of playing a Newcastle side that were beaten at home by high flying Brentford. Jack welcomes Con back to the show to reflect upon the defeat at Old Trafford that pushes Spurs perilously close to the relegation zone. We ask the uncomfortable question: is this actually going to happen? Do we have enough about us to avoid the drop, or is the club sleepwalking into disaster? We discuss the failings of Thomas Frank, his system, his demeanour, and the uninspiring displays that seem to be dragging the club down. The conversation goes deep on Cristian Romero's red card. Was it a red? Is he refereed differently to other players due to media narratives? We also address the growing calls from some Spurs fans who label the vice-captain a "liability" and ask if they are right or simply buying into the external noise. We couldn't record this without talking about Mauricio Pochettino's appearance on the High Performance podcast, where he seemed to be fluttering his eyelashes at Tottenham once again. Is a return destiny, or just emotional wistful thinking when we need a proper strategy? Finally, we look ahead to Tuesday's crunch game against Newcastle at White Hart Lane, a match that feels like a must-win for both the manager and the club's survival hopes. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Vass Koni and Marlon as playing for over an hour with 10 men proved too much of an uphill task at Old Trafford as we suffered a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime. Having started well, we found ourselves on the back foot after captain Cristian Romero was shown a straight red card for his 29th-minute challenge on Casemiro and the Red Devils duly took advantage to register their first win against us in nine attempts. Bryan Mbeumo slid home following a short corner routine seven minutes before half-time, but we stayed very much in the game – thanks in part to a string of fine saves from Guglielmo Vicario – and it was only a late goal from Bruno Fernandes that finally killed us off. The second period also saw the debut of Souza, signed last month from Brazilian side Santos, following an injury to Destiny Udogie at left-back. We discuss the actions of Romero and whether he has lost all the goodwill he gained during the week from Spurs fans, we question if Spurs are in a relegation battle and if so whether Thomas Frank can steer us out of it. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Actor TJ Ramini and Luke as Cristian Romero popped up with another late equaliser to rescue a point at Burnley on Saturday. The central defender produced a brilliant 90th-minute header from Wilson Odobert's cross to score his third goal in as many games and ensure we didn't leave Turf Moor empty-handed, having found ourselves denied by a string of Martin Dubravka saves and the frame of the goal over the course of the contest. His central defensive partner Micky van de Ven had earlier fired us into a deserved lead, but Burnley fought back with goals from Axel Tuanzebe and Lyle Foster either side of half-time. Without a win in 13 Premier League outings beforehand, the Clarets looked set to cling on despite our heavy pressure for what would have been a famous win - until Romero, much like he did at Newcastle United last month, took matters into his own hands to make it 2-2 at the end. There was still a sense of frustration for the team at full-time, though, having gone close to adding to the scoreline on multiple occasions. We discuss where this leaves the future of Thomas Frank and if he deserves to continue in his position as Spurs' head coach. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Actors TJ Ramini and Darren Hart along with Luke as another wonderful Champions League night in N17 saw us overcome Borussia Dortmund with goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke rounding off an excellent performance. Tuesday's 2-0 victory guaranteed a top 24 finish in the league phase and a play-off place and, depending on Wednesday night's results, it's likely a win at Eintracht Frankfurt next Wednesday will secure a passage straight into the last 16. Facing a Dortmund side which had only lost once in the Bundesliga all season and were joint top scorers in this season's Champions League, we were always on top in the contest, even before Daniel Svensson was given a straight red card in the 26th minute. By that stage, Romero had netted his first Champions League goal for us, while Solanke capped his first start of the season with his first goal of the campaign to put us 2-0 up at the break, a lead we didn't relinquish. It extended our run to 24 home European matches without defeat and four home wins without conceding in the league phase this term, while there was a further bright spot with a debut off the bench for 17-year-old Academy product Jun'ai Byfield, becoming Legacy Number 902 in the process. We also discuss what impact the nature of the result has on under-fire head coach Thomas Frank. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning guests Luke, Marlon and Mitch Fretton as a spirited fightback fell just short as we suffered a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday evening, finishing the game with nine men in a dramatic and chaotic ending at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Having been reduced to 10 men in the first period following a straight red card shown to Xavi Simons for a challenge on Dutch international team-mate Virgil van Dijk, we conceded twice in 10 second-half minutes to Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike as the visitors made the most of their numerical advantage. But we pulled one back through substitute Richarlison, his fifth career goal against Liverpool, and had the visitors on the ropes for the final stages, only to suffer another dismissal when Cristian Romero was sent off for a second yellow and we couldn't find that equaliser in the closing minutes.
