Neil Manthorp and the former England fast bowler Steve Harmison preview England's upcoming T20 series against Pakistan, and look at how important it is for them to return to the country for the first time since 2005. The former Pakistan captain Aamir Sohail looks at the hosts' preparation for the series, and we look back at the latest round of County Championship action. As well as this, we discuss Kent's victory over Lancashire in the Royal London One-Day Cup final and look at Mark Boucher's move to the Mumbai Indians and what the future holds for coaches in franchise Cricket.
Host Carl Lewis is joined by former Protea Ashwell Prince and cricket writer Daniel Gallan as they review the second test between England and South Africa. The Proteas went down by an innings and 85 runs, a complete reversal from the first Test at Lord's. South Africa's selection was called into question and the trio discuss the Proteas and Mark Boucher's tactics at Old Trafford where they picked two spinners, Kesh Maharaj and Simon Harmer after dropping promising all-rounder Marco Jansen. They also discuss the batting unit with everyone struggling, the focus has been on Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen with potentially Khaya Zondo and Ryan Rickleton coming into replacing for the third Test at the Oval.
Mark Chapman looks ahead to England's first Test against South Africa at Lord's and reviews another week in The Hundred. Hear live from England's Jack Leach and an interview with South Africa coach Mark Boucher. Moeen Ali comes on to talk about Birmingham Phoenix vs Trent Rockets. Hear from Alana King after she got the first hat-trick in the women's Hundred. And catch the thoughts of Tymal Mills, Phil Tufnell and Heather Knight.
Host Carl Lewis is joined by cricket writer Daniel Gallan for a recap of the series between South Africa and England, which ended 1-1. The chatty pair debate, discuss and analyse the Proteas ODI side and the series. They even tuck into the topic of the future of 50-over cricket and its place in world cricket. Topics covered: Rassie van der Dussen's brilliant century at Chester-le-street and how important he is for the South Africa batting unit. Quinton de Kock, Janneman Malan and captain Temba Bavuma; who should open the batting? Aiden Markram's 1st ODI knock and his impressive off-spin...growth in white-ball cricket. David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen - should Mark Boucher pick the pair as power hitters? What are the other options? Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi, the Proteas spin twins and how important they are - South Africa are now a two-spinner team. All-rounder pecking order? Andile Phehlukwayo or Dwaine Pretorius? Fast bowlers Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi

Cricket South Africa has to find a new director of cricket and new head coach. This is the view of former SA cricketers Association President Omphile Ramela. The former first class cricketer was one of the loudest voices to question the respective appointments of Graeme Smith and Mark Boucher when he testified during CSA's Social Justice Network. The ombud of the SJN Dumisa Ntsebeza delivered his interim report to cricketing authorities this week in which he found that the appointments of the two office bearers was procedurally flawed. There's been a lot going on in South African cricket circles lately, both on and off the field, and who better to help us make sense of it all than ESPN Cricinfo's Southern Africa correspondent Firdose Moonda, who's been leading the cricket coverage in the region during this challenging time. In this fascinating deep dive into all things cricket in South Africa, we start by discussing the men's side's most recent series, and how difficult it was to assess the team's performance against a Sri Lankan squad decimated by injuries. We talk promising debutants, Quinton de Kock's leadership, the search for a Test captain, changes under Mark Boucher and why Faf du Plessis can't keep his shirt on. As we transition to the boardroom, Firdose takes us through the fallout from the Fundudzi report and we learn how close South Africa was to losing official international status. She frankly discusses communication breakdowns and a lack of cohesion as we explore transformation targets, the Black Lives Matter response, next steps, and the impact of the boardroom on the players and fans. Firdose's in-depth insight into the challenges South African cricket governance have to face, and how well they are currently navigating that path, is absolutely fascinating. We finish the show by taking a look at what's next on the field, starting with the women's team hosting Pakistan as the men head in the opposite direction for two Tests and three T20s - their first tour to Pakistan in 14 years and one that's shaping as a very interesting series as we assess where both sides fit in the Test hierarchy. You can find Firdose's work at Cricinfo at https://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/story/author.html?author=315 (https://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/story/author.html?author=315) - her back catalogue includes further details about many of the topics we discussed on the show.
