There are somethings in life that we quite frankly never want to see end....On this episode we dive head first into one of the more delightful and relatable comedies that had a great run in theatres and is now available on VOD platforms everywhere. It's time for 'The End of Sex'.A couple feeling the pressures of parenting and adulthood, send their kids to winter camp for the first time and embark on a series of sexual adventures to reinvigorate their relationship. From director Sean Garrity we get one of the most unexpectedly delightful comedies of recent memory and we had the unique pleasure of sitting with the star of the film Emily Hampshire (who you may know from the hit show 'Schitt's Creek' and her co-star who is also the co-writer of the film, Jonas Chernick. We talked about the origins of the story, the grounded nature of the comedy and managing to be heartfelt and sincere while being drop dead funny all at the same time.'The End of Sex' is available on VOD platforms now.
Marrying into the wealthy Le Domas family, one-time foster child Grace thinks she's going to have it all: a handsome, loving husband in Alex, all the amenities she desires (thanks to the Le Domas gaming fortune), and of course, a loving extended family. But, as one character says, the rich really are different. Not only does the family welcome Grace with open arms, they also invite her to a certain ritual designed for all new members of the family. It's just a formality, part of a deal struck many years ago with a certain Mr. Le Bail. You see, if the Le Domas family doesn't hold up their end of the deal, a horrible fate awaits them. Maybe. It all comes down to one card, and what's printed on that card, and whether Grace draws it or not. Because if she does, terrible events will ensue, and the life she envisioned for herself might just explode before her eyes. On this edition of the Richard Crouse Show we'll meet Thomas Hayden Church. He became a star as Mechanic Lowell Mather on the sitcom “Wings,” was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in “Sideways” and has had supporting roles in films such as Tombstone, George of the Jungle, The Specials, and Demon Knight. Today, we talk about his new movie, Acidman. In the film, he plays Lloyd, a reclusive man who lives in in the middle of nowhere, and spends his time searching for UFOs. He is estranged from his daughter Maggie and has been given the nickname "Acidman" by the locals. One day his daughter arrives to pass along some important news and they attempt to make contact, with UFOs and each other. We'll also meet actor Melanie Scrofano. You know her from everything from the Crave comedy series Letterkenny and the comedy-drama series Being Erica, to the CTV fantasy-drama series The Listener and the Syfy modern Western drama Wynonna Earp. Today we talk about her latest movie, “The End of Sex.” Later in the show we'll meet author Justin Cronin. In 2010, novel “The Passage” became a phenomenon. The unforgettable tale that critics and readers compared to the novels of Cormac McCarthy, Michael Crichton, Stephen King, and Margaret Atwood became a runaway bestseller and loved by readers around the globe. His latest book, “The Ferryman” is a riveting standalone novel about a group of survivors on a hidden island utopia—where the truth isn't what it seems. No less an expert than Stephen King said, ““The Ferryman is next to impossible to put down once you've read the first few pages. Exciting, mysterious, and totally satisfying, this is a book to get lost in…”

Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault, Rape At the 18 minute mark is when we discuss Station 19, so you don't have to listen after that if you're just listening for Hallmark. This week I had the privilege of interviewing Daniel DiTomasso, star of Hallmark's movie Welcome to Mama's and recent guest star of ABC hit Station 19. We talked about his Italian heritage, his family history and how that influenced his taking the role of Frank in Welcome to Mama's. We also talk about what it was like working with Oscar and Emmy nominated actress Lorraine Bracco and Melanie Scrofano. Daniel also guest starred on Station 19 as Jeremy. His character attempted to assault Andy, one of the firefighters. Daniel opened up about his struggle with understanding Jeremy's reasons for the actions, working with Jaina Lee Ortiz and what he would like viewers to take from this episode arc. It's the last episode of Mangia March and we are covering Welcome to Mama's. We are joined at the top of the episode by Kerry Frances who tells us about acting, singing and being an impromptu reporter at Christmas Con, where she got to interview our favorite Hallmark stars! Then we dive into the tale of Amy, played by Melanie Scrofano who inherits a struggling restaurant and its truculent head chef named Frank, played by Daniel di Tomasso. Their tempers sizzle over what direction the restaurant should take but an old love story and a book full of recipes point them in the right direction. In this meaty story we discuss if Hallmark fan fiction could include Frank ending up with Sal, Corinne's love for Matty Finochio's eyebrows and the need for emotional support sock puppets especially at a family style dinner. Our new motto this month is 'No spelled backwards is On' and this episode is On so we hope you join us because there is a standing reservation for you, at Welcome to Mama's.

This week finds Luke's team splitting their talents between two different cases. Susan and Zooey team up when new buyers aren't quite satisfied with their recent purchase. Sure their new cliffside home is beautiful but the wobbly walls and mysterious puddles of water that appear from nowhere are definitely a dealbreaker. Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort Ep 1x04, “A House Is Not A Home”. What did you think of Zooey and Susan's bonding session? The two women open up to one another over wine. Zooey is doubtful about Susan's pyrotechnical skills until she gets front row view. Elsewhere, Luke scores a windfall for the Agency as they look to close a deal with an old rival. Of course things get complicated when Luke discovers the reason this subdivision is haunted. Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on Ep 1x04, “A House Is Not A Home”. You can also send us an email at bradandcorttalk@gmail.com. Be sure to check back for next week's all new episode as Melanie Scrofano returns to direct Ep 1x05, “Ft. Ghost Child”.
This week the Roman Agency has their work cut out for them. First, Luke is sent in to deal with a reluctant homeowner (Melanie Scrofano). Well, actually, she's less reluctant and more bound to the property. Elsewhere, Susan does her level best to please one of the agency's regular buyers. Problem? She has to do things her way and nearly gets herself fired from his contract. Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort Ep 1x03, “For Sale By Owner”. Are you a fellow Earper who was over the moon to see Melanie, our former Wynonna Earp, back on the screen with Tim Rozon? What was your favorite Harper moment? She certainly came up with an entire routine meant to scare away potential buyers. What was up with Luke's childhood home? That house was scary enough to please Susan's eccentric author.

#026. OUR TOP 5 WYNONNA EARP 4B QUESTIONSAirdate: March 3, 2021When we last saw our Earp family, some things were exactly where they should be while others broke us in two. With the second half of the season finally airing, after a delay because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some things we still don't know. Forever Fangirls compiled a list of 5 questions we hope to have answered before the season ends. We also use the phrase - season ends - because we would really love it if another company came in and give us more Wynonna Earp!**Spoiler Warning**If you'd like the show notes, see the trailer or links mentioned in this episode, head to:https://www.foreverfangirls.com/episode026/
The Twilight baby is back and Doc doesn't know what condoms are. Time to suck down some Beaver Buzz and ponder who the tiny, sexy dragon in your life is. Music: Hold Me Up - Banner Pilot
Look, it's not a common name, okay? Music: Blistering Blue Barnacles - Möngöl Hörde
I asked Kat Barrell to come on the podcast she said "yes" and cooked up the idea to surprise Casey. Join us for a fun, casual conversation with the treasure that is Kat Barrell as she shares her favorite Wynonna Earp cosplays, thoughtful gifts gone wrong and settles a disagreement Casey and I have. Thank you Kevin for unknowingly being in on the surprise. Kat Barrell can be found on:InstagramTwitterhttp://katherinebarrell.com/Music by The Daily Fare http://www.thedailyfaremusic.com/Support our podcast https://www.buymeacoffee.com/wynaught
Why does every show have a jazz number? We've got a new Mad Dog physique contender coming in hot, but that high note gets overshadowed by some really...icky family vibes. This goo demon acting like the coronavirus the way it gets spread around. Music: Tyler Herro - Jack Harlow
Hello, fellow Gunters! Welcome to our discussion of anything other than Ready Player Two. There's a lot of obsession with what's up cheerleader's skirts in this episode. Thank god we break from that inappropriate moment for Wynonna to beat up some children. Music: Your Gravest Words - The Lawrence Arms
A real quick-hitter here, folks. This episode was a narrative exercise in running in place, so we talk about Medea, police clearance rates, and don't even do a synchronized howl when we discuss the lesbian sex scene. Music: Spooky Action at a Distance - Iron Chic
Wynonna Earp has rewarded our patience! The most beloeved episode yet. There's a wonderful IT nerd, we bash all the gorgeous CW doorknobs, and we discuss why Halsey inspires real pain. Music: All Hands - Protest The Hero
We just spent last episode ragging on Wynonna Earp's season 1 finale. Would we be fool enough to commit to watching more? What do you take us for, not-idiots? Music: Web in Front - Archers of Loaf
Well, we really didn't like this season finale. We didn't get a full lizard transformation or anything, there were too many bulletproof vests, and then snake monsters appeared out of nowhere. Somebody better be dead. Music: After the Party - The Menzingers
So, we all hate Willa as a character and want to see her torn apart by wild horses tied to each of her limbs. Besides that sentiment, we mostly discuss sex cults, Herman Melville, and Jackie Chan/Jennifer Love Hewitt vehicles. Music: "Breathe Grease" - Municipal Waste
There are poker tournaments that never happen, demon hookers biting off penises, and Wynonna's hair inexplicably looks great through all of it. Music: "Wild One" - Colleen Green
All we want is to see hot chicks kiss because we are a very reserved and mature podcast. Unfortunately, this episode also had some other plot with summoned beasts and burying witches. We really take the discourse to new depths. Music: "Hollywood Factory" - Skating Polly
We discuss the fox POV moment in Lord of the Rings, Larry the Cable Guy's ouvre, and the tragedy of backgammon. Also, we watched an episode of Wynonna Earp and Doc Holliday isn't hot, but this was a rip snortin' good episode. Music: "(I Feel Like)(Gerry) Cheevers" - Chixdiggit
From kombucha to vagina curtains, episode 403 “Look at Them Beans,” is full on Wynonna Earp, especially since it was directed by Wynonna Earp herself, Melanie Scrofano. Rachel and Katie break down this monumental episode with the help of Martina Ortiz-Luis! The Kombucha master gives us the inside scoop on what it was like to work with Melanie as a director, how she got cast as Rachel Valdez, and spills the Mar- “Tea”-na about her new castmates.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
There's a porpoise barber leaping from the water like free willy in this episode, but we mostly discuss the cinematic masterpiece of Van Helsing (2004) and Nicki Minaj's prosecco. Music: "Internal Eyes" by Heartsounds
After two years, a lot of Earping, and a ton of billboards in Times Square, the season four premiere of Wynonna Earp is finally here! Katie and Rachel are dealing with their season premiere Earp hangover and breaking down Episode 401: On The Road Again. Luckily, Doc Holiday himself, Tim Rozon, joins us to talk the season premiere, filming the next six episodes, and facial hair. He even plays a round of Who said it?: Wynonna Earp or Melanie Scrofano.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
The coronavirus shut down Wynonna Earp’s fourth season, but now Alberta is reopening and production has resumed under strict new protocols. In advance of the season premiere on Bell SciFi this Sunday night, star Melanie Scrofano joins Norm to talk about the challenges of socially distanced Earping.
How does any of this work? We're entirely baffled by intricacies of Wynonna Earp and much more concerned with destructible throat anatomy and how to date bartenders without them knowing.
We dive into episode 1 of Wynonna Earp! We don't hate any of the characters yet, except for Champ. We definitely hate Champ. We want him to get tossed into a lake.
Now that we've left Riverdale behind, we're embarking on an episode-by-episode adventure into a new show. This one has way more gunplay, a strong female lead, and most importantly is not Riverdale.
#004. CONVENTIONS: MEMORIES & MARRIAGE!Airdate: May 13, 2020Conventions bring together a diverse group of people to enjoy something they have in common - fandom. Tread Safely month continues with the highest rated episode of Wynonna Earp on IMDB: "Bury Me With My Guns On." After killing the last of the Seven, Wynonna feels adrift and immediately gets suspended from the Black Badge Division. The Stone Witch tries to alter her deal with Bobo Del Rey, but he has other plans for the nature of their contract. Will it bring Wynonna and Doc Holliday into the picture? Meanwhile, Waverly and Deputy Haught have their first fight -- which is funny because they're not a couple. Also, Sheriff Nedley reveals he may know more about the weirdness in the Ghost River Triangle than he generally lets on. Justin reveals his theory of leather pants on television. He also remembers where he's seen star Melanie Scrofano before. Erik tries to remember the particulars of the Earp curse while Justin offers his own hypothesis regard Doc's hatred of the Stone Witch. Bobo gets recast as "Alt-Right Tormund Giantsbane," Erik almost spills the beans about Bulshar, and Justin learns about #WayHaught. The discussion inevitably leads to Star Wars -- but mostly about Ahsoka Tano and Dr. Aphra. Also, Erik recalls his time on the set during the film of this Wynonna Earp episode.

This summer The Interview Show went on the road to Alberta's Canadian Rockies to attend the Banff World Media Festival 2018. At the festival, I got to hobnob with actors, directors, producers and writers creating innovative content for a world audience. In the palatial Fairmont Banff Springs Resort and Luxury Hotel, I hung out with Emily Andras, the showrunner of Wynonna Earp, a supernatural Western horror television series, airing on Syfy and Space, starring Melanie Scrofano. This scrappy indie Canadian TV series has carved out a devoted fan following (of people who like kickass female gunslingers and unkillable gays.) The show is about to launch its third season July 16th, so we chatted about the challenges and successes the show has faced so far. What was it like turning an indie comic book (created by Beau Smith) into a TV show? What is the Bury Your Gays TV trope? How did Wynonna Earp start the Unkillable Gays TV Trope? How do you raise the stakes in a show about battling demons if some characters can't die? What's it like when you lead actor tells you she's pregnant after you've already written six scripts for season two? Which Canadian Icon will play Wynonna's long-lost mother in season three? You'll have to listen to find out! As we continue our reviews, we stumbled upon Wynona Earp, the SyFy series based on the comic book by Beau Smith. Melanie Scrofano stars as Wynona, descendant of the legendary old west lawman Wyatt Earp. Somewhere in the Canadian Rockies, Wynona fights and defends her hometown of Purgatory against demons that have risen up and […] The post Two Nerdy Black Guys: Wynona Earp Season 1 Review appeared first on Delta Juliet Mike Media.
Hey firecrackers! This week I found myself confined to my hotel room in Halifax and the more time I spent in there, I realized how easily hotels can make you feel shut in. So, I decided to get out there and do something creative, something away from the computer, something outdoors! I went out, got some paints, a canvas, and taught myself to paint. I’m definitely no artist, haha, but it helped with the mundanity of hotel living! And I want to know, what is it you guys do to get yourselves out of rut? To feel inspired and creative? Let me know on social media! Our guest this week is the kick-ass, hilarious, Melanie Scrofano! She’s blowing up our television screens right now as the lead on ‘Wynonna Earp’, but you may also remember her from ‘Designated Survivor’ ‘The Listener’ or ‘Being Erica’. We recorded this episode a little while ago, while it was still hush-hush that she had a baby, so when she showed up with her little guy, it was an incredible surprise! We talked all about her family, her path as an actress, creativity and learning to do new things, and so much more. I think you guys are going to be inspired by this vibrant firecracker. Enjoy!
After a solid month with reasonable runtimes, this week’s episode heads back towards the 3 hour mark, as Noel and Kate dive deep on several topics and shows. We kick off the podcast with some talk about TV news, including our thoughts on the James Cameron and Joss Whedon controversies from the past week. Then we move into our week in TV, starting with the comedies. After looking at The Tick season one, the finale of Wrecked, the premiere of Survivor’s Remorse, and more, we move over to the drama and genre offerings, including a lengthy look at the premiere of Halt and Catch Fire and spoiler-filled break down of The Defenders season one, among others. Then, friend of the show Dr. Elizabeth Bridges returns to the podcast to discuss the emotional season finale of Wynonna Earp, along with our takes on the rest of the season.Season Spotlight: Wynonna Earp with Dr. Elizabeth Bridges (2:02:43)Our Week in Comedy The Tick Season 1 (39:41) Wrecked finale (49:02) Survivor’s Remorse premiere (54:53) People of Earth (59:52) Younger (1:02:43)Our Week in Drama and Genre Halt and Catch Fire premiere (1:08:15) Game of Thrones (1:24:41) Twin Peaks (1:33:26) The Sinner (1:35:46) Wynonna Earp (1:37:37) The Defenders Season 1 (1:43:00)Music Featured: “Cherish” by The Association; “Happy Birthday” by Altered Images; Wynonna Earp Theme song
Jimmy sat down in the roundtables for one of his favorite shows, Wynonna Earp! You'll hear from showrunner Emily Andras and stars Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverly Earp), Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught), Shamier Anderson (Xavier Dolls) and Varun Saranga (Jeremy Chetri). Due to many many many press rooms overlapping, he unfortunately had to leave this one a bit early thus missing out on some of the cast. However, we think you'll enjoy what he got! Hear all about the current season and where it may be going. Starting this week and the following few weeks after, there will be no regular format shows. Only SDCC press room specials. Jimmy needs that long just to recover from all of the craziness that is Comic Con International. You will hear roundtables for Inhumans, Doctor Who, Legends of Tomorrow, Batman and Harley Quinn, Dirk Gently, Supergirl, Dark Matter, Gotham, iZombie, Justice League Action, Lucifer and Teen Titans Go!He missed some rooms that he wanted to cover but boy howdy did he still cover a lot!
