Tv-Episode 2 of "Mexican Dynasties" Commentary by David Hoffmeister with Spanish Translation. This podcast is the second in a series of 10 episodes where David Hoffmeister makes commentary to the Mexican Dynasties Tv-series that you can find on Amazon Prime Video. The “Mexican Dynasty” Tv-series is about successful families as the world would judge them. Financial struggles and survival of the body is not an issue. But their emotions are very high every day, and they want to love each other and want to forgive. When the families start getting into issues and grievances, David uses these moments to trace them back into the mind so we can learn to take responsibility for choosing the miracles and praying for and releasing the grievances in our own minds. Therefore this series can be seen as a strong healing exercise, and it’s helpful to see these stories as teaching parables. These episodes will be a way to bring time and eternity closer together, and when we bring light and darkness together, darkness will disappear. Darkness is just beliefs and ignorance, but when you bring ignorance together with wisdom, ignorance disappears. Say Hello to one of our OG listeners, you may have seen her in the Bravo-sphere on IG as @FixMyLifePodcast where she does live Tarot readings every Wednesday. ---during this first part we kind of were just chismeando poquito de esto poquito del otro, we talk about important things like why the HW need to wear those Chanel earrings, RHOD women talking about their "gobbler," why we don't claim Kelly Dodd, and again why Kary is problematic etc...we talked about reality tv in general, we dive into Bravo's canceled series Mexican Dynasties, we laughed a lot and kind of touched on a little of everything, una capirotada. -- total 'hang out' vibes
Tv-Episode 1 "Mexican Dynasties" Commentary by David Hoffmeister with Spanish Translation. This podcast is the first in a series of 10 episodes where David Hoffmeister makes commentary to the Mexican Dynasties Tv-series that you can find on Amazon Prime Video. The “Mexican Dynasty” Tv-series is about successful families as the world would judge them. Financial struggles and survival of the body is not an issue. But their emotions are very high every day, and they want to love each other and want to forgive. This is what families are meant to be: with such laughter and joy! When they start getting into issues and grievances, I will use these moments to trace it back into the mind. To realize that we are responsible for choosing the miracles and for praying and releasing the grievances. We’ll do this as a healing exercise, and it’s helpful to use these as parables as we teach. That’s why Jesus always taught in parables. He knew that the teachings were so deep that they were way beyond their readiness for most people. His teachings came from eternity, and everyone was addicted to time. These episodes will be our way to bring time and eternity closer together, and when you bring the light and darkness together, the darkness will disappear. The darkness is just beliefs and ignorance, but when you bring that ignorance together with wisdom, then ignorance disappears. And Jesus says we must bring darkness to the light. ~David HoffmeisterTo enjoy ALL of David’s commentary together with the episode of “Mexican Dynasty”, you'll have to come to co-living! Mexican Dynasties’ Elan and Jenny Allende Step Behind The Rope. Connecting from Puerto Rico where the sun is shining the birds are singing, Elan and Jenny are here to discuss all. Jenny and Elan grew up with music in their blood. They both knew from an early age this was their true calling. That said, Jenny had a temporary detour into the word of modeling. That detour took her to the Miss World pageant where she represented Puerto Rico. She was competing. Elan’s Dad was hosting. That’s how they met. A year later they started dating and the rest is history. Now a married couple, flash forward to Bravos’ Mexican Dynasties . Not suppose to be part of the original cast when Elan's parents were hired, producers had another idea after meeting the dynamic couple. Soon thereafter, Elan and Jenny became part of the "Allende Family” that we have grown to love on the hit Bravo show, Mexican Dynasties. From casting to filming to all the real life drama going on behind the scenes, Elan and Jenny do not hold back. Also the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were at the Mexican Dynasties premiere party. Say whaaat? Which RHOBH was nice? Which were not nice? Who refused to take pics with the Mexican Dynasties cast and who had a little too much to drink? Latinos are 18% of the U.S. population - 58 million and growing and are currently the largest drivers of movie box office and ratings. Yet, the sad reality is that for so long In both film and television, Latinos remain underrepresented. There is a notable lack of diverse storylines and there’s a scarcity of Latino talent behind the camera – whether it is in the director’s chair (they say less than 2%), in the writer’s room, and in the executive suite. Today's guest is trying to change this. He is most definitely a changemaker because through his work he is not only impacting but also changing the face of Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Jaime Dávila, the son of Mexican immigrants, is President and Co-Founder of Companario Entertainment - an LA-based production company committed to changing the way Latinx voices are presented and understood. Fulfilling his goal of making opportunities for Latinx creators and inclusive programming for audiences, Jaime oversees development and production on both sides of the border. His slate includes the upcoming multigenerational reality series Mexican Dynasties for Bravo (2019); a scripted series for ABC inspired by Selena Quintanilla, and he is the executive producer of Colossus, a timely documentary that gives a rare look into the aftermath of deportation and family separation, amidst the current backlash against America’s immigrants.
