Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price wrap the 2026 scouting series with a tight end episode that feels more important than usual. Even in a weaker rookie class, tight end remains the position where landing spot and opportunity can flip value fast, especially as NFL offenses lean harder into 12 personnel and “move” tight ends who are really big receivers. Our NFL Draft Writer Josh Edwards is back with his thoughts on the 2026 tight ends and quarterbacks. First, we've got some news and notes (3:45) as the Eagles acquired Dontayvion Wicks and the Jaguars are moving Travis Hunter to cornerback full time in 2026 ... Discussing the TEs first (13:35), Josh gives an overview of the position and then we talk about Kenyon Sadiq (17:15). He's a freak athlete, but how does he compare to Colston Loveland and Tyler Warren? Who are the next best TEs (25:30)? One of them is a guy who has had very little production, but huge upside. And we get into Eli Stowers (30:00), Michael Trigg (35:00) and more ... On to the QBs (40:00), what are the Raiders getting in Fernando Mendoza? Should he even be the #1 pick!? How does he compare to Cam Ward? We also spend a lot of time on Ty Simpson (49:00) with the pros and cons plus how much injuries factor into his evaluation. Finally, are there any other QBs (1:00:00) who might make an impact on your Fantasy team? Don't sleep on Garrett Nussmeier or Cole Payton ... The Draft Room is diving deep into the 2026 tight end class through the lens of Bob McGinn's scout series — and the scouts could not agree less. Pack Daddy breaks down the top eight prospects with notes from up to five different NFL scouts per player, and the conflict in opinions is both hilarious and genuinely illuminating.

The Draft Room is back and catching up on everything that piled up during the brief hiatus — and there's a lot to get to, Pack Nation. Ryan leads off with Dominique Orange ("Big Citrus"), who held a private workout attended by 10 teams — including your Green Bay Packers — and showed elite lateral movement before pulling up with hamstring tightness at the 35-yard line. Is he a Day 2 lock? And just how serious is the NFC North's trench arms race? Then it's a full tour of the draft landscape: Defensive Tackle: Peter Woods disappoints at his Pro Day; Xavian Harris goes under the knife and craters to a late-round grade Offensive Tackle: The Fano vs. Maui Noah debate at the top, Caden Proctor emerging as a potential left tackle solution for the Lions, and why the Chiefs may hold the key to the whole board Cornerback: Mansoor Delane drops a 4.38 at LSU's Pro Day, erasing speed concerns — could he go as early as Pick 7? Tight End: The class is in trouble. Max Claire, Joe Royer, and Michael Trigg all raise red flags — with Trigg drawing serious character concerns after a lackluster showing and a troubling track record Quarterback: Why Cam Ward skipping the Combine was actually a high character move — and why the Raiders aren't flinching at Pick 1 Plus, Ryan breaks down intel from Jordan Schultz suggesting 2026 could be one of the most trade-heavy drafts in recent memory — and what that means for teams looking to move up or down in Round 1. Ryan also gives an update on nfldraftgrades.com — his deep-cut draft guide covering prospects, team notes, and the latest news — now co-built with his son, who may be making his on-air debut soon to break down prospects and Packers fits.

1. Many (if not most) are very down on this year's RB class. Mel Kiper, Jr. says he believes there are only 3 or 4 RB's maximum that are worth a top-100 pick. That said, others, including friend of the program Bill Carroll, say that this RB crop isn't as bad as many think. What are your overall thoughts on the 2026 RB class? 2. Since 2017, five RB's have been selected in the top-10: Leonard Fournette, Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson, and Ashton Jeanty. Jeremiyah Love will obviously become the sixth this year. In what order would you rank those six RB's as prospects, and why?3. Why do you have Mike Washington, Jr. as RB2 in this draft as opposed to Jadarian Price? 4. What makes Jonah Coleman worth a Day 2 pick? 5. Based on what you saw on film, what makes Michael Trigg the TE1 in this draft over Kenyon Sadiq? If it weren't for his maturity issues, do you think more NFL teams would have Trigg higher than Sadiq on their boards? 6. Do you think Sam Roush's historically short arms for the TE position automatically disqualify him from playing in-line at the NFL level?7. Would you be surprised if Oscar Delp ends up being selected in the top-100, if not the top-75? 8. With the dust of free agency all but settled and the NFL Draft less than a month away, we're entering into smokescreen SZN as NFL GMs lie about their plans and prospects fall and rise up draft boards seemingly at random. The 2026 NFL Draft is officially on the horizon, and the Carolina Panthers have some massive decisions to make. In today's video, I'm breaking down my first full mock draft of the season! We're prioritizing the "trenches and targets" strategy to help Bryce Young take that next step. We start strong by bolstering the offensive line with Spencer Fano and Logan Jones, ensuring the pocket stays clean. Then, we add some elite bloodlines to the defense with linebacker Josiah Trotter—could he be the heartbeat of this defense for the next decade?I'm also diving into the late-round steals like Michael Trigg and Bryce Lance, who bring massive frames and red-zone mismatch potential to the Queen City. The Draft Class:OL Spencer Fano (Utah): Elite athleticism to solidify the tackle or guard spot.LB Josiah Trotter (Missouri): The "Family Business" comes to Carolina.TE Michael Trigg (Baylor): A 6'4" mismatch nightmare.DL Skyler Gill-Howard (Texas Tech): A high-motor disruptor for the interior.S Jalen Stroman (Notre Dame): A physical, hard-hitting presence in the secondary.WR Bryce Lance (NDSU): Speed and size (4.34 40!) from the FCS powerhouse.C Logan Jones (Iowa): The next great Iowa center to lead the O-line.What do you think of these picks? Let me know in the comments who YOU want the Panthers to take!

Jagger May and Andrew Mott dive deep into six sleeper prospects who could make noise in the 2026 NFL draft on the brand new Draft Nerds pod. The guys break down running back Emmett Johnson from Nebraska, who posted 1,451 yards and 12 touchdowns while showing elite receiving skills with 46 catches. Andrew sees potential as the RB2 in this class, comparing him to Chase Brown and Rico Dowdle. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss from Ole Miss gets mixed reviews due to arm strength concerns, though his mobility could land him in the right situation. Ole Miss offensively lost the middle of the field last season.UTEP transfer wide receiver Zakhari Franklin has arrived to help the Rebels find it again.Franklin committed to Lane Kiffin's football Rebels over the weekend. His slant usage last season was among the best in college football, which should pair well with a tight end room featuring Michael Trigg and Caden Prieskorn, two one-time high-profile transfers. Prieskorn was recently named one of the top returning tight ends in the country by Pro Football Focus. Ben Garrett and Zach Berry have all the latest in this edition of Talk of Champions, as well as thoughts on Ole Miss landing three-star 2024 offensive lineman Joseph Cryer and a potential flip for four-star wide receiver JJ Harrell. Let's get to it.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

In this edition of Talk of Champions, Ben Garrett and Zach Berry of the Ole Miss Spirit deep-dive into Lane Kiffin's football Rebels opening spring practices, as well as football and basketball recruiting.Suffice to say, the takes were flying.Zach's bullish on Jaxson Dart as Ole Miss' starting quarterback, while Ben is most interested in Michael Trigg this spring. Oh, and he wants Mike Bianco to let Tywone Malone cook!Let's get to it.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Ole Miss on Monday landed a commitment from coveted Memphis transfer tight end Caden Prieskorn. The addition of Prieskorn, who visited Ole Miss over the weekend, is significant for the Rebels in a number of ways. Perhaps most pressing, he provides Ole Miss with some much-needed Michael Trigg insurance. But Prieskorn's potential value goes so far beyond that. The Ole Miss Spirit's Ben Garrett and Zach Berry discuss in an all-new, recruiting-filled edition of Talk of Champions.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Jordan Watkins transferred to Ole Miss from Louisville in January with the expectation he'd be a featured weapon in a high-powered Lane Kiffin offense. He assumed he'd be used all over, too. However, in preseason practices in the spring and early-fall, the 5-foot-11, 191-pound Watkins, a junior, was mostly worked in the slot and occasionally outside at wide receiver. His role changed once starting tight end Michael Trigg went down with a likely season-ending collarbone injury in a 52-28 win at Vanderbilt.“I've made some plays from the backfield,” Watkins said. “The touchdown I scored against Vandy, I came out of the backfield. With the injury with Trigg, you're kind of seeing me move a little bit into the tight end role to kind of help Casey (Kelly) out. Kyirin's still young, so he's still developing (and) still learning.“Kind of to put a guy who knows what to do a little bit and a guy who's played a lot of ball along with Casey to kind of help him out a little bit.
