Jack is joined by Lara to look back on Tottenham's opening day win over Burnley, where Richarlison lit up Thomas Frank's debut with two superb goals including an outrageous bicycle kick. Mohammed Kudus was equally impressive, pulling the strings in midfield and combining brilliantly with Richarlison to give Spurs a new attacking edge. We also dive into the latest twists in the transfer market, from the rollercoaster pursuit of Eberechi Eze with Oliver Glasner insisting he is staying put at Palace, to Spurs' ambitious chase for Savinho at Manchester City. Spurs returned to Premier League action under new manager Thomas Frank in stunning fashion with a 3-0 victory over Burnley. Scott Parker's side were praised for their defensive solidity in the Championship, but the Premier League is a different story. Tottenham are now without Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, yet may already have a couple of new heroes in their ranks. Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison combined brilliantly for two impressive goals, including an absolute worldie from the Brazilian, before Brennan Johnson sealed the win with a neat finish. Jim sits down with ProfSpur to discuss why Spurs fans have good reason to believe that the season ahead will surpass their expectations. Why the transfer struggles are not unique to Tottenham and whether they are signing players that do move Spurs forward. Are we using the wrong clubs as a benchmark for success and what is still likely to happen this window for Thomas Frank. Mohammed Kudus could be a brilliant signing and although not everyone's top choice, Paulinha does help Spurs midfield. There's a reason we left this one until near the end... a week ago all seemed positive at Tottenham Hotspur, a win against rivals Arsenal, but a week on and James Maddison has picked up an ACL injury, others such as Destiny Udogie and Dominic Solanke, who were meant to be back still aren't, and last night Bayern Munich handed Thomas Frank's boys a bit if a football lesson. Ricky Saunders joins James to discuss what that means for Fantasy ahead of an enticing set of fixtures. Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero and Micky Van De Ven all still appeal at different price points and parts of the FPL community want one of Brennan Johnson or Mohammed Kudus. Day 3 of Correspondent Week opens with Chris Stone joining James for a discussion on The Hammers and with an open day trip to promoted Sunderland there are a lot of West Ham assets worthy of consideration. Jarrod Bowen has been reclassified as a forward but remains one of the standout talismen in the league for Fantasy, but could Niclas Fullkrug be worth a cheeky 2.0 saving? There's coverage of the big 4.5 debate between current most owned defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and new signing El Hadji Malick Diouf but James is keen to point out this might not just be a two way debate. Tottenham Hotspur has completed a sensational £55 million swoop for Ghanaian sensation Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, marking a major statement of intent under Thomas Frank. Discover how this electrifying midfielder, with his dazzling dribbling and versatile play, is set to ignite the Premier League and become the missing piece in Spurs' puzzle. We break down his incredible talent, tactical fit, and what this blockbuster transfer means for the North London rivalry. Mohammed Kudus, Tottenham Hotspur, Premier League transfer, Spurs signing, West Ham United
With plenty of transfer activity already happening across the Premier League this summer, why have Tottenham - who have made just one signing in West Ham's Mohammed Kudus - not brought in more players to support new boss Thomas Frank? For Aston Villa, just any players will do at this stage as Emery battles with PSR permutations. We try our best to answer those conundrums on today's podcast... Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, TJ Ramini and Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Luka Vuskovic registered a goal and an assist on his first appearance in our colours as we began a new era under Thomas Frank with a 2-0 win at Reading on Saturday. The 18-year-old defender, who linked up with the Club earlier this month after his move from Hajduk Split was agreed in 2023, was introduced as a half-time substitute against the League One side and wasted no time in making an impact, flicking on a corner from fellow new boy Mohammed Kudus - who also caught the eye with an impressive display - to tee up Will Lankshear for the opener four minutes into the second period, then picking out the bottom corner with a sharp finish from Kudus' pass a few moments later to double our lead. With two lots of 11 players deployed either side of half-time, it was a useful opening to our pre-season campaign and gave our new Head Coach a chance to run the rule over plenty of players. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jonathan Hammé and Jim from Oh So So Spurs, as the panel discuss the latest developments of the summer transfer window. Spurs have identified Mohammed Kudus as a key target and there is a feeling he will be available for less than his £85m release clause, which is applicable to Premier League sides for the first 10 days of July. There is no asking price but £60m could be enough to get a deal done, in order to ease PSR pressure. Initial contacts have taken place with his new agents while there are more clubs also involved. Kudus is understood to be open to Spurs talks. Meanwhile Spurs interest in Eberechi Eze is understood to have cooled at this stage. Arsenal made contact with s camp over the weekend. Eze has a £68m release clause payable in instalments and is open to Arsenal should they proceed with a bid. Contacts are taking place for Crystal Palace star with Arsenal informed on deal conditions. Spurs at this stage are not expected to revive their Antonie Semenyo interest unless Bournemouth's pricetag of at least £65M is lowered. Meanwhile Richarlison is understood to be set to leave Spurs this summer, with Galatasaray keen to bring the player to the Turkish league.
