Host Ricky Sacks is joined by David Harris, Ian Lubin and TJ Ramini as the third managerial era of the 2025/26 Tottenham Hotspur season is about to commence, as Roberto De Zerbi makes his second Premier League debut on Sunday, away to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. We discuss Roberto De Zerbi's first pre-match press conference in which he boldly states he knows his first mission is to keep Tottenham in the Premier League but believes the club has everything to challenge for the title in the future. We also reflect on a week which has seen Mohammed Kudus could miss the rest of the season in a major blow to new Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi. Kudus has been out since the start of January with a quad injury, but had begun to ease his way back into training before the international break. Kudus had not missed a single game through injury for West Ham but could potentially miss half of his first season at their north London rivals. It was hoped he would be in contention to face Sunderland this weekend in De Zerbi's first game in charge. However, Spurs have confirmed that Kudus could be set to undergo surgery, ruling him out of Spurs' final seven games of the season and casting his World Cup hopes with Ghana into doubt. We debate the icompetence shown by current Sporting Director Johan Lange in which Spurs had the chance to reinforce their squad in the January transfer window, despite the difficulties involved in that market, but only brought through the door a midfielder in Conor Gallagher and 19-year-old left-back Souza, while selling last season's top scorer Brennan Johnson just days before Kudus first suffered his serious quad injury. Unfortunately, of the long-term players out when Lange made those comments ahead of the trip to face Manchester United in early February, Kudus, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ben Davies all remain side-lined two months later and were added to a week after by Wilson Odobert. Therefore once again raising concern over the medical rehabilitation of players. The panel also reflect news that Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position to sign Andy Robertson as a free agent this summer, subject to retaining their Premier League status and a price has been set for reported goalkeeper target James Trafford. We finally close on our thoughts of Sunderland, given the fact that The Black Cats are running the risk of losing four straight home league games for the first time since September 2017 in the Championship, and their shoddy Stadium of Light sequence has contributed to their bottom-half ranking in the Premier League table, although they are still within touching distance of seventh-placed Brentford at the time of writing. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by George Achillea, Connor and Ash as Tottenham announced their squad for the 2025/26 Champions League league phase. Manager Thomas Frank left out six big names for the club's latest European campaign. Spurs' 25-man squad for their return to Europe's elite club competition doesn't feature Kota Takai, Radu Dragusin, Yves Bissouma, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski or Mathys Tel. The omission of England international Maddison, 28, comes as no surprise. The midfielder suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury in the club's pre-season friendly against Newcastle in August. Summer signing Takai is also in the treatment room with a plantar fascia injury, and his return date is currently unknown. Dragusin and Kulusevski haven't made the cut as they, like Maddison, are dealing with knee injuries. t's understood that Dragusin could be back to full fitness late next month. Sweden international Kulusevski, meanwhile, is on course to return in late November. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Actor TJ Ramini and TV/Film Director Simon Yemane as a battling performance at Portman Road yielded four goals and three points on Saturday afternoon as we put Ipswich Town to the sword in some style. With the home side desperate for points in their fight against relegation, Ipswich made us work hard for the win but we matched them for effort and determination and then let our football do the talking with two goals in each half to secure our third straight Premier League win. Brennan Johnson, making his first league start since early January, scored his first Spurs brace to fire us into a 2-0 lead before Omari Hutchinson reduced the arrears. And, after we'd survived a couple of scares in the second half, superb goals from Djed Spence and Dejan Kulusevski put the game out of reach of the hosts and gave us our first win at Portman Road since August, 1994. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams, Football Finance Expert Adam Osper and Patrick Tyrant as Everton started the road to recovery under returning manager David Moyes and piled more pressure on his struggling Tottenham counterpart Ange Postecoglou with an impressive victory at Goodison Park. Spurs were shambolic for long periods as they were overrun by a resurgent Everton, who had won only three Premier League matches this season - scoring 15 goals - before this game. Everton deservedly led 3-0 at the interval, then survived a late Spurs revival as the scoreline was given an appearance that did not reflect the difference between the sides. With the stakes high for both teams, Everton brushed Spurs aside in the opening period, building the platform for a win that condemned Postecoglou's men to a seventh defeat in their past 10 league games. Dominic Calvert-Lewin ended a barren Premier League scoring sequence stretching back to September - and lasting 1,288 minutes - when he turned Archie Gray twice in the area before leaving Spurs keeper Antonin Kinsky wrong-footed with a smart finish. Son Heung-min was denied twice by Jordan Pickford but it was Everton, unrecognisable from the goal-shy team seen previously this season, who added a second on the half-hour when Iliman Ndiaye twisted Radu Dragusin inside out before firing high past Kinsky. Everton compounded Spurs' misery in first-half stoppage time when Gray turned into his own net after James Tarkowski's header took a touch off Calvert-Lewin. Spurs, as they had to do, improved after the break and pulled a goal back through Dejan Kulusevski's clever lofted finish with 13 minutes left, with former Everton striker Richarlison increasing the nerves by bundling home in injury time. But the hosts held out for a deserved win on a day to savour for the returning Moyes. Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Compère Richard Cracknell, Broadcaster/Presenter Marcus Buckland and Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Jorgen Strand Larsen's late equaliser continued Vitor Pereira's impressive start as Wolves boss after a chaotic Premier League draw with Tottenham. Wolves took an early lead when the unmarked Hwang Hee-chan swept the ball low into the corner from the edge of the box after the Spurs defence had switched off at a free-kick. Spurs equalised shortly afterwards thanks to Rodrigo Bentancur, who glanced a powerful close-range header beyond Jose Sa from Pedro Porro's corner. Tottenham were awarded a penalty when Andre brought down the fleet-footed Brennan Johnson only for Sa to guess correctly and deny Son Heung-min. It did not stymie Spurs' attacking intent and a neat interchange between Dejan Kulusevski and Johnson inside a crowded area culminated in the latter firing home a low shot.Wolves were content to hang in the contest and levelled with three minutes of normal time remaining when substitute Strand Larsen beat Fraser Forster at his near post with a rasping angled shot. Spurs piled on the pressure during 12 minutes of added time but were unable to contrive a winner and finish December with just five points from a possible 21. Liverpool will be four points clear at the top of the Premier League on Christmas Day after a dominant 6-3 victory away at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Headers from Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister put the Reds two goals up after 36 minutes, before James Maddison pulled one back. Dominik Szoboszlai added the visitors' third in first-half stoppage time and was then joined on the scoresheet by Mohamed Salah, who converted twice following the interval. Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke netted what proved to be consolations as Diaz completed the scoring to see Arne Slot's side take advantage of second-placed Chelsea dropping points earlier in the day. Coming up in this podcast Arne Slot and Ryan Gravenberch give us their thoughts on the breathless encounter in the capital. Former Red Former Phil Thompson and current LFC Women defender Gemma Bonner joined Rob Jones in the studio for LFCTV's post-match show, whilst Nigel Spackman gave his analysis of the game from down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.  We also received contributions throughout the podcast from local fans Si Steers and Abigail Rudkin and from over in the US, Michael Crump from the Official LFC Supporters Club in Atlanta.

Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Events Entertainment Host/Compere Richard Cracknell, Actor TJ Ramini and Patrick Tyrant as five goals in a rampant first half earned Tottenham a stunning victory at St Mary's Stadium and ended the tenure of Southampton boss Russell Martin. A strike inside 40 seconds from James Maddison settled any pre-game nerves for Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, the England midfielder tucking home from Djed Spence's clever pass. Against a woefully open Saints defence, Tottenham's free-scoring attackers cleaned up, Son Heung-min firing past Alex McCarthy and Dejan Kulusevski tapping in from close range inside the first 15 minutes. Amid angry boos from the stands, Martin's response was to abandon his four-man defence and revert to a back three, withdrawing a distraught Kamaldeen Sulemana straight after the third goal. Yet it did not work as a shell-shocked Southampton were hit on the break by Son once more and he teed up Pape Sarr to dance through two half-hearted challenges and slot into the net. Spurs captain Son was denied three more times by McCarthy before Maddison smashed into the top of the net from a ridiculous angle deep into first-half stoppage time. With Spurs fans delirious in the away end, some Southampton supporters took to the exits early, rightly anticipating little hope of a miracle comeback.Matheus Fernandes did think he had pulled one back in the 80th minute but his header was ruled out for offside. The result leaves Saints nine points from safety and guaranteed to be bottom at Christmas. Meanwhile, Tottenham are up to 10th, entrenched in a congested mid-table where just three points separate eight teams. The Wales forward volleyed home his sixth league goal of the season from close range after being teed up by Timo Werner's cross. But Fulham, who had the better chances in the game, deservedly equalised 13 minutes later through captain Tom Cairney, who was then sent off with seven minutes left for a late challenge on the back of Dejan Kulusevski's leg. Cairney, who had only just come on as a substitute, lashed a first-time left-footed shot home from 18 yards after being picked out by Alex Iwobi. The 35-year-old Germany international, playing his first European match since the Champions League final in July, gave away a penalty in the fifth minute but made amends in stoppage time, tapping in Angelino's whipped cross. Spurs had been the superior side for much of the match after Son Heung-min turned in the penalty that Hummels gave away, who was slow to a loose ball in the box and brought down young midfielder Pape Matar Sarr. Brennan Johnson also struck a good first-time finish after a Dejan Kulusevski cutback after defender Evan N'Dicka had equalised. Tempers boiled over late in the first half as players from both sides clashed following Jurien Timber's challenge on Pedro Porro, setting the stage for a tense second period. It was Gabriel who made the vital contribution after 64 minutes, escaping the attentions of Cristian Romero to rise and power Bukako Saka's corner high past Vicario. Arsenal always relish any derby victory at Spurs but this one will taste especially sweet as it was achieved without two such significant figures in Odegaard and Rice while providing the perfect platform for next weekend's visit to champions Manchester City. Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Russ Williams, Mitch Fretton and Marlon via Spurs Kings TV as Son Heung-min scored twice as Tottenham comfortably brushed aside a lacklustre Everton side to notch up their first Premier League win of the season. Tottenham peppered the Everton goal straight from kick-off and their early intensity was quickly rewarded. A stylish move on the edge of the box culminated in Dejan Kulusevski cutting inside to tee up Yves Bissouma, whose crisp shot struck the underside of the crossbar on its way into the net. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was punished for dawdling on the ball shortly afterwards when Son stole it off the England number one and slotted into a vacant goal. Cristian Romero headed in Tottenham's third from a corner after the break when he outmuscled James Tarkowski and Michael Keane to head in James Maddison's pinpoint inswinger. Spurs skipper Son put the gloss on the result 13 minutes from time with a low angled finish through Pickford's legs after Micky van de Ven's enterprising run from one penalty box to the other. Host Lee McQueen is joined by returning panellists Jason McGovern, Ricky Norwood and Tim Winstone via Spurs Song Sheet as Son Heung-min scored twice as Tottenham edged past a team of the best players from South Korea's top flight to secure a 4-3 friendly win. Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring after 29 minutes before South Korea and Spurs captain Son made his mark on his homecoming in Seoul. He curled an effort into the top corner after 38 minutes and slotted home a Kulusevski assist to give his side a 3-0 lead by the break. But Team K League pulled two back in the second half after replacing their entire team at the break with Stanislav Iljutcenko netting twice within five minutes of the restart. That prompted Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou to make changes and substitute Will Lankshear volleyed home a Timo Werner cross to give them a two-goal cushion. Oberdan responded for the hosts with nine minutes left to play but Spurs held on to seal victory, with James Maddison hitting the post in injury time. They are back in pre-season action on Saturday, when they take on Bayern Munich at 12:00 BST in Seoul. Nominate Last Word On Spurs for Best Podcast - Premier League at the

Host Richard Cracknell is joined by co-host Lee McQueen and regular returning panellists in Jason McGovern and George Achillea as an impressive young and heavily rotated Tottenham side beat Japanese champions Vissel Kobe in Tokyo on Saturday. Ange Postecoglou's side have now made it three wins from as many games after victories against Hearts and QPR before Spurs embarked on their tour of Asia. Spurs fell behind after Pape Matar Sarr's intervention was intercepted by Yuya Osako, who fired the hosts in front. Pedro Porro would quickly level for the away side after brilliant work from Archie Gray and Dejan Kulusevski, before Heung-min Son put them ahead with a ruthless finish at the back post after the break. The J-League side would level through forward Jean Patric's strike, deflected off the covering Emerson Royal. Still, Spurs pushed for the winner to avoid a penalty shootout in the sweltering Tokyo heat and played some lovely incisive football, constantly going close as the game approached its end. Young Mikey Moore would have the final say, tapping in Jamie Donley's cross from the byline to continue his fine form this summer. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning regular panellists in Jason McGovern, TJ Ramin and Marlon Via Spurs Kings as Yves Bissouma and Dane Scarlett were on target as Tottenham beat QPR in a pre-season friendly at Loftus Road. Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou again named a reasonably strong side against the Championship outfit, with new arrivals Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall amongst the notable youngsters involved from the off. The hosts had look dangerous on the break with Spurs dominating most of the ball but fell victim to a moment of Premier League class from Bissouma five minutes before half-time. The midfielder beat his marker with a drop of the shoulder before playing a one-two with Dejan Kulusevski, picking the ball up on the return and rounding goalkeeper Paul Nardi to slot into an early net. A host of changes came after the break as QPR put on the pressure but Spurs ultimately held out before Scarlett tapped in a second with his first touch.
