Liverpool extended their perfect start to the new Premier League season with a dramatic 3-2 win over Newcastle. The Reds conspired to throw a two-goal lead earned through Ryan Gravenberch and Hugo Ekitike away despite Anthony Gordon's first-half red card. However, Rio Ngumoha popped up at the death to become the club's youngest ever goalscorer and clinch the three points. Despite the positive end, Reds reporter David Lynch believes there were some major concerns on show for manager Arne Slot. That included his team's physical frailty and the performances of several individuals. Check out his thoughts on the game and don't forget to leave your reaction in the comment section below. Tom tells us about what he offers Forest and why he cost much less than Liverpool's Hugo Ekitike and Manchester United's Benjamin Sesko despite having a very similar record last season to two strikers who are of a similar age. Tom also tells more about other Forest targets Dilane Bakwa and Soungoutou Magassa before we discuss Forest's chances in the Premier League this season and the signing of Douglas Luiz from Juventus. #nffc #nottinghamforest

Gameweek 1 is nine tenths done and though there are some outstanding scores out there it has been a tough weekend for many FPL managers with a number of popular FPL assets blanking. All 9 games covered in detail and a theme from the weekend is a number of cheap midfield options performing well, and none have attracted more attention in the FPL Community than Manchester City's Tijani Reijnders, who is already up to 5.6 and likely to see continued investment. So was his dominant performance at Wolves a one-off or a sign of things to come? Antoine Semenyo and Hugo Ekitike are also early price risers following returns in an exciting Friday opener where there were mixed returns for FPL managers. Plus, players on radar for those on a Free Hit in GW2 feature not just Arsenal, Bournemouth and City assets, but those from Chelsea and Villa who blanked in 0-0 draws could be worth keeping ahead of respective trips to Brentford and West Ham who both conceded three on the road. So too, did Burnley, and there was more tactical variety on show from Thomas Frank's Tottenham who may well change system again at the weekend when they go to The Etihad. Liverpool kicked off their Premier League title defence in dramatic fashion as two late goals earned a 4-2 win over Bournemouth at Anfield. Arne Slot's side looked like they would have to settle for a point after surrendering a two-goal lead earned by Hugo Ekitike and Cody Gakpo. However, Federico Chiesa's late strike took the roof off Anfield before Mohamed Salah capped things off in injury time. Reds reporter David Lynch was in attendance to see the champions start a new season with a thrilling victory, and believes they deserve praise for battling through. Ekitike and the effective matchwinner Chiesa are singled out for their contributions as a result. However, there were also some concerning signs that had already been witnessed in pre-season and which Slot will need to iron out. Liverpool suffered defeat in the Community Shield as they were beaten on penalties by Crystal Palace on Sunday. Arne Slot's men failed in the shootout after playing out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Wembley Stadium. And Reds reporter David Lynch believes they can have few complaints over not winning a largely even game. He highlights defensive concerns as key to that, with Liverpool too easily taken apart on the break. However, there were also several major positives, including the contributions of new signings Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.
