2024 BEST HITS! HIP-HOP EDITION! MONDAY MOVITATION W/ DJ DOLO S4 EP 2
Welcome to our very first episode with your hosts, Greg Angello and Brock Zevan! We call this episode "raw and uncesored" because we discuss our challenges we've faced and are facing and the pain we have gone through. Yet the challenges and pain have given us a process to endure and grow, not only personally, with our families, but also in our real estate careers. Not every one exposes their wounds and shares their experiences, but this is what makes Raised on Real Estate transparent. As we mentioned on the podcast, Brock hosts a Mindset and Movitation call each Monday through Friday 8:15 AM to 8:30 AM EST. We would love for you to be part of our morning call. (605) 472-5349 #905953 "Join over a hundred thousand podcasters already using Buzzsprout to get their message out to the world." Psalm 50Andrew and Edwin continue their look at preparing for our own time in judgment based on God's sneak peek for Israel at their coming judgment. This time, they recognize Israel was getting the form and the rituals right, but their hearts were not in the right place. If we want to prepare for judgment, we need to start with the heart, not the rituals.Read the written devo that goes along with this episode by clicking here. In today's digital age, we're constantly being bombarded with advertising and our data is being used as a currency. We catch up with serial entrepreneurs Tom Holder and Gilbert Hill about their new start-up Tapmydata, who are driven by their mission to put data and privacy back in the hands of the people. Tom co-founded a VentureTech company Simpleweb and Gilbert exited successfully from Cookiepedia. We posed the question, how is it different starting up now compared to the first time around. Tapmydata is innovating in the PrivTech sector, by utilising the blockchain, using 'Tap' tokens and funky merch to reward people for requesting to take back control of their data. For organisations, Tapmydata make the process of fulfilling a Subject Access Request for data easy and straightforward to do. We speak to Darrell Irwin, founder of Cre8ion, which is a brand marketing agency in Bristol. The business had an unusual beginning, it was actually part of a charity, but this element of the charity ended up doing well commercially, therefore Darrell decided to launch Cre8ion as a start-up in 2016 and take it outside the charity. Darrell also launched Genesis, which is automating brand design for start-ups and other small organisations. The platform using machine learning and decision tree structures to produce new brands, quickly and cost effectively, but at the same time ensuring businesses are clear on their vision, purpose and values. Darrell discusses his background, R & D tax credits, how he has implemented a 4 day work week, his support network and shares some great insights for people looking to start-up. James Ewin & Joel Rosen have been long-standing friends since their school years and took the decision in 2011 to go into business together. Both took different routes into design, but they always knew they wanted to work on something creative together, in 2011 ORCA was born.It wasn't all smooth sailing in the early days, with both of them having to move home to help fund the business, but they grew they reputation and their client base to expand and hired their first employees to grow the business. Fast forward to 2020, they employ 8 people, and have learnt the valuable skills about employing on personality, not just talent alone! The creative duo also started another successful sister business called Briefbox, as they found upcoming talent didn't have the commercial skills to deliver on client work, therefore helping them to unskill and cut their 'commercial teeth'. We discuss how they started and how they funded the business, the lessons they have learned about employing people, the importance of self-development and guidance of a mentor and tap into some pearls of wisdom they wanted to share with anyone thinking of starting a business. Ella was born in Rio de Janeiro, where healthy eating and fitness were highly valued. Partly due to the fact you needed to have a beach body all year round! Ella loved Cake, but when she moved to the UK, she was shocked that there weren't any healthy cake options! Ella made it her mission to bring high protein and low-calorie cake to the masses. Ella launched with a Minimum Viable Product, which was handmade in her kitchen with very basic branding, but this didn't matter, as she proved there was the demand for the gap her product was filling. Fast forward, she started selling well online, utilising influencers and then with the support of a mentor, got into several high profile retailers. Ella shares her journey and all her learnings along the way. Do you have God-given abilities that you've hidden? Our abilities that we have come from God. And we must overcome the temptation to hide them or to use them for fleshy or selfish gain like the wicked and lazy servant in Matthew 25. We're called to use our abilities to glorify God. How are you going to use your abilities to glorify God?

Pre-Podcast Trials Episode 0.25. Before engaging in any serious interactions, think about what you want out of the interaction, then speak and communicate accordingly. Speaking your feelings and blurting out the first thing that comes to mind is short-sighted and selfish, because you're only speaking to make yourself feel better. Think about who you're talking to and what they want out of you, then use that intuition to communicate with them in a more productive way. Communication is a results based business, and any interaction is a transaction.

本集所有提到的資源都放在 podacst.lolalinocean.com 中!May the JOY Shine on You. LEP#004 - Movitation vs. Inspiration).
