Benelli Lupo, Federal Premium Ammunition. Hayes Carl at Green Hall in New Braunfels. Dinner with Ted Nugent and Shemaine at the Nugent compound in Waco. And something personal he's keeping close to the heart. Then it's Nashville for the Freedom Hunters Nashville Classic, June 21st and 22nd. Chad's been involved with Freedom Hunters for over a decade. He's seen firsthand what getting veterans and active duty military back outdoors does for them. This event raises the money to keep those trips going. Tables of 10, VIP seating, and single tickets available. Go to freedomhunters.org. Season 18 of Benelli's The Fowl Life premieres on the Outdoor Channel in July. Season 19 starts filming in September. A lot of good things are coming, and we're glad you're here! Chad just got back from Wisconsin, and he's not slowing down. Next stop is Texas for an axis deer hunt during the rut with Jason Vanderbrink, CEO of the Kinetic Group. When you think Federal, Remington, Speer, CCI, Heavy Shot, Black Cloud — this is the man behind all of it, and he's invited Chad down to the San Antonio hill country for a spot and stalk during one of the most exciting times of the year to be in the field. Chad's shooting a Benelli Lupo with Federal Premium Ammunition, and he is ready. The trip also includes Hayes Carl at Green Hall in New Braunfels, one of Chad's favorite venues and one of his favorite songwriters. Compadre's Tacos in Bertram. Jason's game room, and something personal Chad's keeping close to the heart. It's all happening! Season 18 of Benelli's The Fowl Life premieres on the Outdoor Channel in July before moving to MoTV, and Chad hasn't shot a big game animal in a while. He's an all-ducks, all-geese guy at heart, but axis deer during the rut in the Texas hill country? That'll do it! This episode is brought to you by Corning Ford, The Nashville Palace, Banded Brands, Avery Outdoors, Benelli, and Realtree camo.
Chad just got home from side stage at the Drifters Music Festival in Reno, and he had to get on the mic. Chase Rice headlined. Brittany was there. So was Les Nesbitt at 85, Chad's brother Clay, his nephew Chase, and his lab, Jack, who may be the most famous dog in country music. They walked to the stage with Chase, stood side stage for the whole set, and spent over an hour on the bus after. Chad's known Chase for six years. He met him through Jack Daniels in Turkey Camp in Oklahoma. Since then, it's been duck camps in Wisconsin, Kansas, Tennessee, backstage in Nashville, Vegas with Les and Dan Henderson at Steve Aoki the night before a sold-out Kane Brown show at T-Mobile Arena. That night, Chase called Les up from the stage, and 15,000 people sang him happy birthday. This episode is part concert recap, part friendship tribute. Chad runs through the set list, from Walk That Easy, to Bad Day, Key West to Colorado, Circa 1943, Cruise, a Toby Keith tribute with Should Have Been a Cowboy, and Lonely Eyes to close it out. He talks about Chase's evolution from bro country to something much more real: the songwriting, the road life, the hunting, the dogs. Chase Rice just gets it. And Chad loves him for it. Chad's solo on the mic with a lot on his mind and a few things he wants you to know about. First up is Freedom Hunters. Founded by Anthony Pace, Freedom Hunters gets returning veterans, active duty, and special forces out into the field. Hunting trips, fishing excursions, time in God's country. Chad's been in the blind with these warriors, and he'll tell you straight about how much it matters. The Freedom Hunters Nashville Classic is Sunday, June 21st and Monday, June 22nd, at the Nashville Palace and Hermitage Golf Club. Tables are available. Come shake some hands. Then there's the Silent Valor Project. This is a newer organization that Chad's been asked to join the board of. The mission is getting special forces operators transitioned into the private sector when their service is done. Rangers, SEALs, the ones you can't even name. They fought for this country, and then the country makes it hard for them to find work. This project wants to change that. June 24th in Las Vegas, Seth Vandover and his band are throwing down at Caspians inside Caesars Palace. Kenny Chesney's at the Sphere that night. This is the after-party. Proceeds go to the Silent Valor Project. And if you're in Temecula, Gary LaVox, lead singer of Rascal Flatts, is doing an acoustic performance at Hendo's Barrel House on June 11th. It's almost sold out, so move fast. Chad loves this country. He loves the people who protect it. This episode is his way of saying so. This episode is brought to you by The Silent Valor Project, Freedom Hunters, Demerbox, Almost Heaven Saunas, and The Nashville Palace. Lets go!
Chad just got back from Tennessee, and he's not over it yet. Good luck getting him over it. Nashville first, from Barrett Hobbs, the Scoreboard, the Nashville Palace, dinner at the Detroit Cowboy with Chef Marino throwing down on steaks and lobster, then straight to Kid Rock's Honky Tonk with a VIP section right above the band. That's how you do Music City. Then Lynchburg. The Jack Daniel's distillery. Barrel selection with 24 people, the biggest group selection Clint Bailey and Josh Phillips had ever done. Drilling straight into a nine-year-old barrel in a rickhouse, lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's, shopping at the hardware store, and a sunset dinner on the hill with cigars and rocking chairs made from actual barrel wood. Hank Jr., Waylon, Randy Travis, and Don Williams playing softly in the background straight from his friend's guitars. Chad also gets into the single-barrel program and why you should seriously look into getting one for your family, your company, and your legacy. The details on that are worth the listen alone. You've probably heard his name. If not, you've definitely heard his words. Josh Phillips is the songwriter behind “Dirt Cheap”—the track Cody Johnson took to No. 1, and the one that just won ACM Song of the Year. But Josh isn't chasing the spotlight. He's a North Carolina boy who writes songs that come from a real place, and that truth shows up in every line. In this episode, Josh sits down with Chad for a raw conversation about the highs, the heartbreak, and the hard decisions that come with a life in music. He's toured with some of the biggest names in the game, played the biggest stages, and still walked away, realizing that life on the road wasn't worth missing time with his family back home. This one is about the late nights and long drives that shape a songwriter, and the kind of moments that never make it into a press release. If you love country music, that actually means something; this one's for you. From AI and social media madness to grammar, concerts, and Deadhead culture, Chad kicks things off with his recent trip to The Sphere in Vegas to see Bob Weir and John Mayer tear it up live. But when the questions about rock ‘n roll start flying, there's only one man to call for answers: Uncle Ted Nugent. Chad picks up the phone and gets the straight truth from the Motor City Madman himself. From there, the guys talk about what's really happening in downtown Reno, from Narcan bins to homelessness, and the pressure of being a business owner in a city that's changing fast without any real support for hard-working people. They don't shy away from the tough stuff. From politics to family, to regret, to what it really means to want something more out of life. They talk about age gaps in relationships, real connection, and speaking from a place most people are way too shy to speak on. From his diet to his training, Wyatt doesn't clock in and out. He's all-in, all the time. They talk about why wrestling is the foundation of so many elite athletes and why it's one of the most physically demanding sports on the planet. Wyatt shares how he's built his confidence, how hard he works to hit his goals, and what those goals look like. They also break down the mental side of the grind: the perception, mindset, and consistency all play a part in building a competitor that doesn't break. And of course, Chad puts him on the spot with a big question: Who's on Wyatt's Mount Rushmore of Wrestling? This one's all about discipline, belief, and chasing greatness on and off the mat. 2‑time MLB All‑Star Brad Penny is on the mic with Chad for an honest and interesting chat about baseball, mindset, family, and — believe it or not — pickleball. They kick things off with a question that every parent's thought at least once: How young is too young to be throwing pitches? Does it even matter when they are so young? Brad doesn't hold back! He says talent and mindset are born, not built, and wonders whether kids today are playing for the love of the game… or people are just chasing dollars. When Brad steps on the mound, he's all business. He's got a mindset that says no margin for error, and Chad digs into what drives that intensity, even off the field. The conversation swings into one of Chad's biggest passions…Pickleball! The two talk strategy and reveal how Brad's athletic mindset truly rolls into everything he does. If you want real talk from a guy who reached the top and stayed hungry, this episode's for you. Chad sits down with NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher for a unique and wide-ranging conversation that hits harder than a linebacker on Sunday. Urlacher opens up about everything from growing up in small-town America to adjusting to sudden fame, and the lessons that shaped his legendary work ethic. The two dive into what it means to stay disciplined, coachable, and mentally sharp long after the stadium lights go out. They get real about aging, pain management (including Urlacher's take on Toradol), and the physical toll the game takes. No guts, no glory! This isn't just another cowboy story. It's a front-row seat to one of the rawest, most dangerous, and most electrifying sports on Earth, told by a man who's conquered it. Chad sits down with Tuff Hedeman, a living legend, world champion, and one of the most recognizable names in the world of bull riding. If you're not winning in today's arena, it's not the bulls' fault. These animals are top-tier, consistent, and ferocious. The difference? The riders.. and Tuff's here to tell you why. Chad and Tuff dive deep into his career, legacy, and the fearless mindset it takes to keep getting back on a 1,800-pound beast that's actively trying to throw you. But even with all the technology in simulation gear and training equipment, Tuff says nothing replaces the real thing. Problem is, the real thing can kill you, and Tuff has seen it happen right in front of his eyes. Every single ride is a dangerous one. This episode isn't just for rodeo fans. It's for anyone chasing greatness, staring down fear, or trying to understand what makes someone keep climbing back on when the stakes are life or death. From today's rising college wrestlers to who Randy believes has what it takes to wear the belt next, nothing's off the table. They get real about how far the sport has come, and where it's going. What's the blueprint now? Wrestling might be the base, but what other skill sets separate the contenders from the champs in 2025? Ever wonder what it really takes to survive the chaos of live comedy—while keeping both your soul and your liver intact? Chad pulls up a chair with the mullet-rocking, mic-wielding Uncle Lazer to peel back the raw layers of a life stitched together with laughter, grit, and a few scars along the way.
