Let It In with Guy Lawrence
Humanity Is Transforming: The Light Body Activation Has Begun | Andrew Molnar

#426 In this episode, Guy talked with Andrew Molnar and explored the idea that human beings are far more than physical bodies and may possess a deeper spiritual nature connected to consciousness, light, and personal transformation. Drawing from Christian mysticism, Tibetan Buddhism, quantum theories, and his own experiences, Andrew discussed the concept of "ascension" as a journey of awakening through commitment, purification, and daily spiritual practice. He emphasized the importance of examining limiting beliefs, healing emotional wounds, being intentional about the influences we allow into our lives, and cultivating practices such as meditation, prayer, and Tai Chi. Throughout the episode, the discussion encourages listeners to look inward rather than outward for fulfillment, embrace personal growth, and recognize that love, awareness, and self-transformation may be the keys to unlocking humanity's highest potential. About Andrew: My conscious journey began in college when I was diagnosed with a serious illness induced by stress. Heeding my doctor's advice, I significantly changed my outlook and life rhythms, which included starting daily meditation practices.  After my body healed, I decided to prioritize living my fullest health and well-being above all else…and assist others in doing the same. For almost three decades I've done so as a healer both as a manager and consultant for organizations, as well as through private healing sessions with individuals. The first ever Coaster Radio panel discussion is here — and it did not disappoint. Joining Mike and EB are three guests who come at the theme park world from completely different angles. Jessica Gardner — the Theme Parkette — is a Los Angeles-based travel content creator, actress with over 50 on-screen credits, USA Today 10Best theme park expert, and host of the ACE official podcast Ride With Us. Josh Reichlin of Made to Thrill spent years frustrated by theme park gift shops and instead of just complaining about it built an entire brand whose retro-style artwork now hangs in Six Flags parks, Holiday World, and an unreasonable number of other places. And Tom from Louisville — Coaster Radio listener since Season 1, game show contestant, Reel Design Contest semifinalist, cartoon lobster, and the man whose voice you hear every week saying "quick hits." Topics covered this week: Is Werewolf Gorge at Six Flags Fiesta Texas the last dive coaster we'll ever get genuinely excited about? Are we happy about Enchanted Parks and what should they call their skip the line program? Knoebels turns 100 this year and the panel has feelings. Michigan's Adventure turns 70 and nobody's sure what happens next. Jessica rode the new Phantom Theater at Kings Island three times in one day — with Meta glasses. Josh got a Voyage trimless night ride at Holiday World and called it life changing. Jessica's Voyage trimless night ride at the all-women's ride made her cry. The case for and against Epic Universe being the best theme park ever built — and why Tom from Louisville says Disneyland and he's not budging. Then the big question — do people like the ones on this panel actually make the theme park experience better? Influencers, podcasters, merchandise creators — do they add wonder or spoil it? The answers are honest, funny, and occasionally surprising. Plus Jessica reveals the most unexpected piece of theme park memorabilia in the history of the show. Tom brings the Trader Sam's mug. Josh explains what the Demon poster at Great America means to him personally. And somewhere in there, EB decides he needs to watch the Defunctland Fast Lane episode immediately.

Women entered the workforce. We got the degrees. We built careers. So why do so many of us still feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and like we're falling behind? In this episode of Question Everything, economist, professor, and author Corinne Low helps us unpack the hidden economics of modern womanhood, from invisible labor and unequal leisure time to the surprising role our relationships play in our ability to become who we want to be. Corinne and Danielle explore what "having it all" actually means, why choosing a partner may be one of the most important decisions we'll ever make, and whether women are still making trades inside a social contract we never agreed to. Because this conversation isn't really about chores, marriage, or even economics. It's about a bigger question: What does becoming look like for us—and what are we willing to trade to get there? In this episode, you'll learn: Why women still perform trillions of dollars of unpaid labor every year What 400 extra hours a year could mean for our careers, health, creativity, and happiness Why equality at work didn't automatically create equality at home The hidden reason so many ambitious women feel perpetually exhausted Why Corinne says choosing a partner is one of the most important economic decisions we'll ever make The surprising quality that's sexier than "sexy" in a long-term relationship How invisible labor affects ambition, career growth, and self-worth Why resentment often starts with time, not money The trap many couples fall into when one person's goals take priority over the other's Corinne's argument that a happy marriage requires both people to be self-actualized Why "having it all" may be the wrong question entirely The tradeoffs every woman is making (whether she realizes it or not) How modern relationships can either accelerate or limit who we're becoming A question Danielle couldn't stop thinking about: What would you do with ten extra weeks of your life every year? Like most creatives in ad land, Ben was taught how to make great work, not how to sell it. He let his work "speak for itself" until he realized that great ideas don't win unless they've got a great pitch behind them. With few actionable frameworks or guides available, he took matters into his own hands, teaching himself the art of pitching. That journey led him to build a 10-session course, author two books, and coach some of the industry's top creatives on how to "sell it great." In this episode of Question Everything, Ben shares how to uncover the invisible brief every client has, shake off presentation nerves, and answer the four questions a pitch must address to win. What you'll learn in this episode:  What the client's invisible brief is and how to solve it The four or five motivations your clients have behind the work The most powerful tool for presenters, and how to use it Why you should get comfortable with silence in presentations Two exercises to shake off nerves before big presentations How a presentation changes when it's virtual vs in-person How to stop "hiding behind your deck"  The four questions you must answer for a winning pitch    Resources: Learn more about Ben and his Sell It Great program on his website  Get a copy of Stop Reading Slides, Ben's guide to creative presentations Plan your next creative presentation with Ben's Practical Pitch Planner  Find more on REI's #OptOutside Black Friday campaign Connect with Ben on LinkedIn

We like to believe we know who we are. But what if the version of yourself you’ve been living as… isn’t actually you? In this episode of Question Everything, Danielle sits down with bestselling author and therapist Katherine Woodward Thomas to explore the hidden stories shaping our identities, our relationships, and the patterns we can’t seem to break. Katherine, best known for coining the term “conscious uncoupling,” is back with a deeper question: not just how we separate from others, but how we separate from the outdated versions of ourselves we’ve been living inside. This conversation challenges the idea that healing is only about looking backward, and introduces a new way of thinking about identity, growth, and what it actually takes to change your life. In this episode, you’ll learn: Why you may still be living inside a story you formed as a child The concept of “source fracture stories” and how they shape your identity Why many self-help approaches keep us stuck in analysis instead of actual transformation How we can recreate our biggest wounds in present-day relationships The subtle ways we reinforce beliefs like “I’m not good enough” or “I’m not wanted” A simple practice for speaking to yourself in a way that interrupts anxiety and spiraling How to recognize when you’re operating from reaction vs. consciously creating your life Why healing isn’t just about understanding your past, but changing your future The difference between your “wounded self” and your “wise self” How to interrupt emotional patterns in real time with one simple question Why Katherine says beliefs are formed in relationships, and must be transformed in them The role of identity in manifestation Tools for understand what you are uniquely coded for How to begin shifting into a new version of yourself The power of asking: What am I assuming is true? Long Shadow listeners: Today we're sharing a great episode of the Question Everything podcast in our feed because it's the perfect crossover between "In Guns We Trust" and "Breaking the Internet."Propagandist? Truth teller? Influencer? Question Everything unravels the contested work of journalists and the moral complexities surrounding the stories that impact us all.Episode description:  Kate grew up believing the Sandy Hook school shooting was an elaborate false flag operation. For years she thought the 20 elementary school children and six educators who were killed that day did not actually die, but were played by crisis actors. And then, one day – in a matter of minutes – suddenly Kate realized how wrong she was. Question Everything host Brian Reed talks with Kate about what it's like to realize you believed something so obviously wrong, so deeply damaging, for so long. And he argues that her story is a case study for reforming Section 230 – the 1996 law that gives tech companies massive immunity from getting sued over what people post. Without that law, platforms like YouTube, which amplified the lies about Sandy Hook that Kate once believed, could be taken to court by the Sandy Hook families. “Question Everything” is a production of KCRW and Placement Theory.Guests:  Kate, a former conspiracy believer Dr. Joan Donovan, disinformation scholar and Director of the Critical Internet Studies Institute at Boston University Thanks for listening to Long Shadow and be sure to listen and subscribe to Question Everything wherever you get your podcasts.

Dany Garcia has built one of the most powerful portfolios in entertainment, but her path there was anything but smooth. Before she became the chairwoman, entrepreneur, and strategic force behind some of Hollywood’s biggest names, she was a 13-year-old girl who decided she was going to build wealth and create a life for herself. From selling men’s suits as a teenager to leaving Merrill Lynch to start her own firm, to architecting the career of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (even after their divorce), Dany has spent her life questioning the rules about power, ambition, and success. But behind the empire is a story of setbacks, rejection, and reinvention. Dany believes that there is no big life without losses, and that the willingness to keep showing up after failure is the real difference between people who dream big and people who build big. In this episode of Question Everything, Dany opens up to Danielle about the lessons that shaped her: childhood expectations, career risks, painful losses, and the mindset that helped her rebuild again and again. Dany shares: The rule she broke that changed her life: “The red carpet is only for celebrities.” How she decided at 13 years old that she was going to create wealth. Selling men’s suits at 16 and the early lessons that shaped her business mindset. Meeting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in college — and later becoming the architect of his career. Why she continued working with Dwayne professionally even after their divorce. What she learned from walking into Hollywood boardrooms where people didn’t take her seriously. The painful realization that the system she helped build might never give her the recognition she expected. The moment she decided to stop waiting for her “turn” and create her own platform. Why she believes winning and losing are inseparable when you’re building a big life. Becoming a competitive bodybuilder in her 40s and what athletics taught her about resilience. The philosophy behind her brand Dany Garcia’s Donny Moss and advancing the human experience. What she does better than almost anyone else in business. How success has evolved from money and ambition to culture, sustainability, and impact. Two veteran journalists set out to document Israel's destruction of Gaza's health care system: hospitals attacked, medical workers killed, doctors detained and held for long periods without criminal charges. The BBC had commissioned the film. But their Palestinian sources in Gaza and the West Bank were skeptical. “We really had to try and persuade them…to talk to us because they didn't—and don't—trust the BBC,” says reporter Ramita Navai. One source doubted the BBC would air the film. “And I was quite shocked he felt that way,” says reporter Ben de Pear. “But actually, he was 100 percent right.”Over the last couple of years, big media organizations have been criticized—from the left and the right—about their coverage of the war in Gaza. But it's rare to get the chance to peel back the curtain to see what exactly was happening inside one of those organizations to learn whether political pressure played a role in journalistic decision-making.This week on Reveal, we're partnering with the KCRW podcast Question Everything to tell the story of a film the BBC wouldn't air and what it says about the future of journalism. From paying an $8,000 lease break in her twenties to becoming the breadwinner in her marriage, Vivian opens up to Danielle about the evolution from being “smart” with money to being wise. But this isn’t just a finance conversation. It’s about shame. It’s about immigrant parents and sacrifice.
