My road to recovery - Stem Cell and PRP edition!If you haven't been following long, my left shoulder has been through a LOT. 9-10 dislocations and full reconstruction done by 2012.Then had a pretty major motorbike crash tore 3 of the 4 rotator cuff muscles off (and bicep) and required 2 open reconstructions to attempt to repair.Still after 4 years I'm sitting at 65% function of that shoulder so next step was finding the right Regenerative Therapies to attempt to rebuild tissue and improve range.Now I've worked with a ton of clients around surgeries and injuries and nothing will top proper movement and a low inflammatory, high protein diet, but looking into Stem Cell and PRP has been a huge learning curve.As with most of my clients, most surgeons are not willing to look at other complimentary treatments to aid recovery so this was way harder than it needed to be to learn.After spending thousands paying specialists to find the best options to repair this shoulder I want to share it with you so I can share you the expense.Top Giveaways: https://bodyreset.online/top-giveaways/Want our health to upgrade your body and energy? "I think… a concern that many of us run into is we are playing as hard as we are working and it's crushing our body,” says Olly Wood in today's episode. His advice on the trifecta of physical, digestive and psychological health comes not only from book learning, but also from personal experience. A former motorbike track racer and personal trainer, he felt on top of the world in regard to his physical condition. He was forced to confront the unbalanced reality of his life, however, after a major crash tore several muscles in his shoulder—injuries he's still nursing a few years later—and one of his first thoughts while in the hospital was how much work he had to do on Monday. Wood refers to this as his “hit by a truck moment”—a major incident which prompted him to realize that, despite his peak physical condition, he wasn't taking care of himself holistically.  Now, he discusses the need to focus on what's important in our lives instead of just looking at what's urgent—a state which lets issues we could have begun to fix much sooner grow and fester into larger, life-disrupting problems. Look at how you approach the end of your day - are you doing something to recover and set up your next day up for success, or are you disengaging from the world and zoning out? I did every sport under the sun. Triathlons, rowing, polo, rugby, even bodybuilding shows. But as I start to run a business and slowly build a company with over 15 staff in my mid-20s I quickly noticed how much stress and mental exhaustion affected your body physically. Running a fitness business, I was doing all the “right” things. I was exercising, I was eating well, yet I noticed my energy getting worse and worse. I got to the point where I was coaching over 150 clients with debilitating levels of chronic fatigue getting in the way of every area of my life without getting any answers from doctors or “professionals” in this space. This took me down the path of discovering all the REAL obstacles people face when trying to get in shape - no amount of “dieting” or exercise will overcome the level of stress and inflammation that is making it impossible to feel our best every day. Through my recovery experience and the integration of all three areas, lifestyle, nutrition, and movement. Rather than simply encouraging high-performers to do more and work harder, Olly has worked with world leading experts in exercise, nutrition, biochemistry, and coaching, such as Brian Walsh, The Poliquin Group, Kassem Hanson, Ben Pukulski, Linh Trinh, and Cliff Harvey, among others, to develop a more holistic, scientific, and sustainable approach to health and performance. Olly came from a small town in NZ and was brought up on homegrown real food. As he grew up and saw how the food industry changed, he realised how many issues were brought back to the lack of nutritional focus and how much food alone can rebuild the body and health. Olly got his start in the trenches of the health world as a PT in a big box gym. After 7 years of working with primarily high-performing business owners he saw the extent to which stress, inflammation, and a lack of focus on recovery was ruining any progress they were making. In the hot seat this week we have one half of UK born UAE bred Hollaphonic, aka Olly Wood. In this episode we talk about how to diversify your revenue streams. This is especially prevalent during these challenging times where musicians and create performers have been hit hard with the closure of their major sources of revenue. Olly discusses ways on how to have maximise your talent. Hollaphonic was born out of a small studio in the Arabian desert of Dubai, the brainchild of Olly Wood & Greg Stainer, two British electronic artists with a diverse electronic music history; The first electronic act to sign to a major label in the Middle East, Hollaphonic released their debut album ‘Personal Space' through Universal in 2015 to great critical acclaim, landing 4 No.1 singles and a No.1 album across eight countries including the UAE and Saudi Arabia; their track Dangerous reached No.3 on the global Shazam trending charts. After a succession of No.1 tracks and high level support from BBC Radio One, TenCent Entertainment Group and Spotify they were approached by Sony Music with a plan to release as a global priority, scoring the international single in Thailand in 2018 with a total of 13 months in the Thai international Top 10 in 2018 with Asian streaming giant JOOX. This led to a performance on Thai TV to over 50m as well as their lyrics being used to teach English in many schools. In early 2019 they enjoyed their first Asian No.1 grabbing top spot in Thailand's main chart through a collaboration with Thai superstar Peck Palitchoke. 2019 saw them release their first K-Pop track with former U-Kiss Star Kevin Woo which was performed livestream to millions from a packed KCon in Madison Square Gardens. Their musical diversity is akin to a mix between Disclosure, Camelphat, Guetta and the Pop sensibilities of artists such as Sigala, Jax Jones and Martin Solveig. They were the first act to play at Tomorrowland 2019 opening the event with a daybreak set on One World Radio broadcast on speakers across the festival and worldwide. Endorsements range from Red Bull Culture Key Opinion Leaders to Adidas and Rolls Royce. In 2019 they also worked on artistic project with Franco Dragone working on La Perle, Dubai and One Last Drop with Cirque Du Soleil. Their music can be heard inflight with Emirates Airlines as the provided an original track for their Inflight introduction, the video feature their album and logo and has been viewed by over 250m passengers in it's lifetime to date.
