This week I sit down with a friend, Pat Fitzgibbons. Pat is a retired Leo, Army veteran, author, podcast host, and national liaison for The FHE Shatterproof first responder only treatment program conducted out of Deerfield Beach Fl. Pat and I had the conversation that most of you won't. My buddy killed himself Tuesday, August 15th,  after a series of really tough life events. It was years in the making and myself along with an entire cast of friends and buddies, some much closer to him than I, did our best to keep him here one more day. With every phone call, we as a group, were able to reframe the situation with him and provide a path forward. I thought, like most of us, that the worst was behind us, a son in college, the hope of a new relationship around the corner, we collectively believed he had the tools needed to keep fighting. We were wrong. How we live our life matters, the decisions we make, both the good and the bad have a ripple effect that is far reaching. Start making better life decisions, and know that you are loved, until next week, take care of yourself and each other. God Bless, and RIP TC.Patrick created a top ranked podcast called The Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast

Join Goldyn & Patrick in this leading edge discussion of how to master your own life and reclaim your power after going through tough times.  Patrick is a retired Law Enforcement Officer and now works in the field of mental health with first responders at FHE Health in their Shatterproof program for First Responders.  After retiring from Law, losing a loved one and going through a dark time,  Patrick shares the immense benefit to reaching out and how being vulnerable in our journey led him to living a much more joyful and peaceful life.  Patrick shares that reaching out to others that have found success and surrounding yourself with those of a higher vibration is the a great way to overcome challenge and remind you of who you truly are.  Clearing your life, or at least limiting the time you spend with those who are in misery and not ready to evolve is another great tip for successful living. They both share techniques they use to persevere through the toughest times in life and how to clear your life path of the things that are either holding you back or may be keeping you in a low vibrational energy that does not lead to manifesting. While the energetic needs time to break down and become matter,  many will get discouraged, lose faith and give up on what they desire.    It takes an allowing, inviting and believing to place yourself in the greatest receiving mode in life. You will want to listen to this whole show for the wisdom these two impart in a conversation between colleagues, friends, and mentors in a world that needs more hope, inspiration and success stories to tune into.  You can find Patrick and his Criminal Evolution work/podcast at www.cjevolution.com.  Goldyn is super excited to share in the wisdom of others and what has allowed them to become more on this fantastic road called life.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. The Criminal Justice Podcast is a top-ranked show because of YOU! Thank you for the continued support, and if you would give us that 5-Star Rating and Review on Apple Podcasts we sure would appreciate it. A big thanks to YOU, the criminal justice professional for putting everyone on the line to serve and protect every-day. Remember you are honored, cherished and loved. The majority of people support you! Please be safe. Approximately 39% of criminal justice professionals suffer from addiction, mental health problems or both. This is an astonishing statistic and sadly is probably much higher. I want you to know that there is help for you or someone you love and care about. FHE – Health – Shatterproof Program for First Responders. This program is the only one of its kind in the country offering many services and treatment for our first responders. This is the same amazing program that I attended last year and I highly recommend FHE Health - The Shatterproof Program for First Responders. #lawenforcement #firstresponders #mentalhealth FHE Health is a Florida based healthcare institution that delivers quality, medically integrated personalized treatment for those suffering from Behavioral Health Disorders. They specialize in addictive disorders and other behavioral health diagnoses such as mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma-induced disorders. FHE Health is licensed by both the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA). First responders protect and serve everyday often at a high cost both physically and mentally. Let's get them the treatment they need. Please reach out to me for more information. You can check out the Shatterproof Link on the website or reach out to me directly: Patrick Fitzgibbons: 303-960-9819   One of the greatest honors of my life was being able to teach, coach and mentor the next generation of criminal justice professionals. My next guest is also doing that and he is going to talk about educating future criminal justice professionals. Dr. Michael Pittaro is on the show. Mike is a full-time faculty member at American Military University in The School of Security and Global Studies. Dr. Pittaro is an education advocate, challenging students to push the boundaries of their capabilities and achieve successful careers in Criminal Justice. Leveraging over 30 years of career experience in leadership, criminal justice and criminology, he has used his wealth of information to develop seasoned professionals. As an experienced criminal justice scholar practitioner and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Criminal Justice, he has taught thousands of undergraduate students in reaching their career goals. His real-world experience has helped my students to be more equipped to handle crisis situations by applying their critical thinking, interpersonal communication skills to the organizations they work with. My next guest is a personal friend of mine and one of my guys! Patrick Fitzgibbons is a retired law enforcement officer, a NY Times Best Selling Author, a coach, a motivational speaker, a teacher and an educator. When he is not hosting the top ranked Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast, he is working with first responders. A few months ago, I received a call from Patrick and he indicated that he was struggling with "life situations." Patrick shared with me that his life had become unmanageable and he began to contemplated suicide. He was struggling with PTS, with the onset of an addiction to alcohol and with real sadness. Patrick did what most of us are scared to do. He reached out and became vulnerable. He realized he needed help and he made the call. Within two days, Patrick was exactly where he needed to be. Patrick is open and honest about his journey to "Shatterproof" and his journey to mental wellness. Please share this podcast with those you love. At one time or another, we all struggle with life. This episode is proof that we can overcome difficult moments and live to rise above them. Patrick is right where he needs to be. His podcast will return next month with new episodes and new uplifting stories of hope! We do recover! If you're into mindset then you're going to enjoy this interview with retired police officer and military veteran, Patrick Fitzgibbons. Patrick and I really get into the topic of how important mindset is in the law enforcement profession. Patrick who is a author and life coach, shares some really good tips for LEOs whose mindset may not be at its best and what they can done to get to a better place. We also discuss, how important it is for police officers to share their individual stories and struggles. Patrick thinks that creating a podcast, is a great way for officers to share their story. Because those stories can be a testimony for someone, who may be going through something similar. In a world of hurt, Patrick Fitzgibbons is using his military and law enforcement experience to inspire wholeness and healing. This episode of The All-In Podcast looks at how front-lines stress can be managed through setting intention and making conscious daily choices. Less than a decade ago, Patrick was living in a completely different way. Impacted by PTSD and the rigors and realities of his work in the field, he saw his life moving down one road and made a conscious decision to take a different fork in the road. He has since established an entire coaching practice devoted to supporting mental, physical and spiritual health among first responders. Through his stint with the Army and, until his retirement in 2019, a lengthy career as a patrolman, detective and operations commander with the police department in Louisville, CO, Patrick has learned close-up about some of the go-to attitudes that can undermine best intentions. In addition to coaching work he is hosts a top-ranked criminal justice podcast, Criminal Justice Evolution, focusing on critical building blocks for living a positive, productive life. You won’t want to miss Patrick’s tips for staying centered, which include a daily gratitude practice, meditation, consistent physical exercise and a deliberate commitment to populating his life with people who are uplifting and share similar aspirations to his own.
