PEG Talks 2 Iceland Singer Songwriter BRYNJA With a background in acoustic folk music, Icelandic singer/songwriter Brynja is paving her own road in the music industry. She combines dreamy vocals and honest lyrics with elements of R&B, pop and Nordic folk to create a unique sound. At a young age Brynja’s parents noticed she had a musical ear, and started her on violin, piano, and clarinet. It wasn’t until shortly after her twentieth birthday that she found her own way into music while working with a street theatre group in Norway. There she learned how to play the guitar and fell in love - a combo that sparked her interest in music and led to her writing songs. During her bachelor studies in contemporary dancing, Brynja continued making music, recorded her self-titled debut EP, shot music videos and went touring. After her dance studies she moved to The Netherlands to study Audio Engineering, where she focused on producing and recording her own music. In her early songwriting days, Brynja was influenced by Emiliana Torrini, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Nick Drake, Björk and Sigurrós. Later on, Brynja discovered R&B and artists such as Solange, Frank Ocean, and Lauryn Hill, whose influence can be heard in her most recent and upcoming releases. Currently, Brynja lives in The Netherlands where she is working on her solo project. She's a part of a musical collective, European Hype, which she shares a studio with in The Hague. The band played on both big and small live stages in Scandinavia. The band became known for their magical rock sound and for their energetic way to perform on stage as well as Sven-Holger's androgynous and unique singing voice. The debut album "A Good Excuse and a Yellow sun" was released in 2008 and was well received by people all over the world. The band could be seen on TV-channels and radio stations and many thought that Mandylon would be Sweden's next music export success. In 2009 the band got tired of playing together and they started other music projects and chose to go separate ways. Sven-Holger released four solo albums, wrote music for films, churches and theaters. When the Covid-pandemic began, the band decided to reunite and start playing all together again. The classic "A good excuse and a yellow sun" was made available on all streaming sites and a new album will be released during the year of 2021. PEG talks to London Post Punk Rockers South Drive Bio: Formed in 2016 in South London, we released our first EP, Nothing's Wrong, later that year. PEG talks 2 Danish independent electro-pop singer Jen Eagle Jen Eagle is a Danish independent electro-pop singer with a unique soulful voice. She is based in Copenhagen, where she recently started to produce her own music in her home studio. Jen also writes her songs and plays the piano. She is involved in several online projects with producers around the world. Herbert Skillz and Fredy Muks are some of the producers she works with. Currently Jen works on a new music project at Globus Studio. There she collaborates with the Danish music producer, also known as a music photographer, Per Lange. Jen is also known to be an international fashion model. She worked at Scoop Models of Copenhagen for eight years. She made several campaigns, runway-shows, magazines etc. She traveled to the biggest fashion cities and stayed for extended periods of time. PEG Talks 2 Nashville Singer Songwriter Angela WRIGHT BIO Angela is a 19 year old vocalist, from Salt Lake City, Utah. She has an emphasis in pop with a country tilt. She is classically trained, but has a diverse range and style, as well as many hours of performance time, opening for Air Supply, performing with a band formed at Berklee, and as a soloist. Her songs speak to the listener as her musical stories span across pop, rock, and country genres. Some of her biggest influences are Etta James, Chris Isaak, Lana Del Rey, Kacey Musgraves, Kelly Clarkson, Florence and The Machine, Adele, Cigarettes After Sex, Marren Morris. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2018 as a vocal principle in songwriting. In early 2019 she decided to head to Nashville with some musician friends, to seek the next chapter in her singing career.
