Como lo prometido es deuda, hoy os traigo la versión Reserved List del análisis de stock de cartas de Magic en Cardmarket. También dije que tiene tela marinera por bastantes motivos, pero supongo que muchos de vosotros habéis venido a ver cómo la carta de Reserved List X o Y ha explotado en precio por su reducción de stock, etc etc. La realidad, para bien o para mal, es bastante distinta. Solamente 6 cartas de Reserved List han visto su stock reducido, mientras que 3 más tienen las mismas copias disponibles el 1 de enero de 2023 que el 1 de enero de 2022, y el resto han subido de stock.

Finalmente podemos hablar un poco de las finanzas de Magic, pero claramente sin dejar de lado los eventos que han ocurrido recientemente. Y creo que el evento más importante del año para Magic, desafortunadamente para mal, es tanto el evento que ocurrió en Las Vegas a finales de octubre y el lanzamiento del producto homónimo Magic 30 Aniversario. Este nuevo set ha traído mucha movida ya que, como sabéis por vídeos anteriores de este canal, Wizard of the Coast decidió cepillarse el denominado espíritu de la Reserved List, el cual implica que no se iban a reeditar cartas de la Reserved List en tamaño normal independientemente del borde o dorso. En Magic 30A no solamente podemos ver cartas de Reserved List, sino algunas de las cartas más poderosas de la historia de Magic como el Black Lotus, los Moxes o Ancestral Recall. Pero las más afectadas, de momento, han sido las tierras dobles de Revised.

In 2020 we're seeing huge spikes across the entire Reserved List, what can history teach us?

Real Live Magic? In this economy? Playing paper Magic again and some post ban and restricted announcement thoughts. It's a gathering again! Our LGS had it's first live Modern event since quarantine! Cards got banned. Cards got nerfed. Cooley found another Reserved List card that he wants to marry at a Vegas drive-thru chapel. All that and more!

With the Reserved List in place, the loopholes closed, what is it doing and what can we expect in the future

With the Reserved List created in 1996, it took in place until 2002 when it was cleaned up and again in 2010 when loop holes were closed.

It didn't take long, but the desire of the public drove WotC to print more product and bump up against that ugly "C-word".
