Timestamps: Patty Wu-Murad Update - (10:20) Robert Fisher - (16:50) In 2001, Robert Fisher and his wife Mary had been having marital problems. Robert's parents divorced when he was young and he was adamant that his children, Brittney and Bobby, would not go through the same. Robert was said to be controlling and abusive towards his family. He once turned a hose on his wife when she spoke ‘out of turn.' Mary told friends in early 2001 that she was planning to leave Robert. Robert found out and it sent him over the edge. Police allege that Robert shot Mary in the back of the head and slit the throats of their children before rigging the home to explode by pulling the gas line. Once the blaze was extinguished, Robert was nowhere to be found. 23 years later, Robert remains one of the most wanted men in America. In this episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss the brutal murder of the Fisher family in Arizona and how the main suspect has eluded capture for over twenty years. Chapter 1 What's The Knight in Rusty Armor Book by Robert FisherThe Knight in Rusty Armor is a 20th-century fantasy novel written by Robert Fisher. The book follows the story of a knight who is so heavily armored that he cannot remove his own armor. This physical inability becomes a metaphor for the emotional armor that the knight has built around himself, preventing him from truly connecting with others and finding happiness. The knight embarks on a quest to find the "truth of himself" and along the way encounters various characters and challenges that help him in his self-discovery journey. The book explores themes of self-awareness, personal growth, and the importance of vulnerability.Chapter 2 Is The Knight in Rusty Armor Book A Good BookOpinions on whether "The Knight in Rusty Armor" by Robert Fisher is a good book can vary. The book, a mixture of fable and allegory, tells the story of a knight who goes on a journey of self-discovery. Many readers find it to be an engaging and thought-provoking read, noting its deep messages about self-identity, personal growth, and the importance of love and relationships. Others appreciate the simplicity and accessibility of its writing style. However, some readers may find the book's style or themes to be too simplistic or clichéd. Ultimately, whether you consider it a good book or not will depend on your personal taste and the kind of messages and storytelling you enjoy.Chapter 3 The Knight in Rusty Armor Book by Robert Fisher SummaryThe Knight in Rusty Armor is a spiritual and allegorical novel written by Robert Fisher. It tells the story of an unnamed knight who is so obsessed with his own armor and being the perfect knight that he neglects his relationships with his wife and son. As a result of his emotional isolation, his armor slowly becomes rusty and he becomes unable to remove it, both metaphorically and physically.Desperate to break free from his armor and reconnect with his loved ones, the knight sets out on a journey to find Merlin, a wise and legendary wizard who could potentially help him. Along the way, the knight encounters various characters, each representing different aspects of human nature and emotional challenges.Throughout his journey, the knight learns important life lessons about the true meaning of love, relationships, and self-discovery. He starts to realize that his armor is not just a physical barrier, but a manifestation of his own fear, insecurities, and emotional armor. Through his encounters and self-reflection, he gradually begins to shed his rusty armor and understand the importance of vulnerability, acceptance, and compassion. In the end, the knight discovers that true strength and heroism lie not in the external appearance, but in one's ability to embrace their emotions, face their fears, and connect with others genuinely. This realization allows the knight to break free from his armor, reconcile with his family, and find inner peace and happiness. The Knight in Rusty Armor is a profound and heartwarming story that carries universal messages about the importance of self-awareness, empathy, and the power of love.
