Bring Your Brilliance With Carla Taylor Radio Show When you are a business owner, your business can feel all consuming. It can take over your whole life if you let it. And even if you've managed to find great work-life balance, you may feel your identity is defined by what you do rather than who you are. But your identity - and your personal brand - is not your business or the work you do. It is who you are, your unique blend of gifts and talents, regardless of your business or your work. Listen in as Carla Taylor talks with successful business owner and parallel entrepreneur Michael Reynolds as they discuss why keeping your identity intertwined with your business not only limits your potential, but also creates greater stress and negatively affects emotional health. And you will learn why making yourself operationally irrelevant is the very best thing you can do for yourself - and your business. Michael Reynolds is passionate about entrepreneurship and financial education. He has founded/co-founded a number of successful businesses, including a training company, a software company and a virtual staffing firm. After 23 years as the co-founder/owner of SpinWeb, a digital marketing agency, he sold the agency in order to focus on what he loves — helping people improve their financial health and advising entrepreneurs. Years ago Michael developed an itch to work in financial services. He became licensed to help people with investments and financial needs, purely as a passion project. His clientele grew organically and he developed a strong attachment to the process of managing money and helping others do the same — all while running his agency, starting new businesses, getting married and becoming a new dad. In 2018, he founded Elevation Financial, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) focused on helping entrepreneurs with financial planning and investing. https://www.elevationfinancial.com/  michael@elevationfinancial.com ~ More Bring Your Brilliance ~ Carla Taylor ~ Are you ready to find your voice and bring your message to the world? Do you know you need a personal brand but aren’t sure what it should be? Do you want to create your own “pension plan” by having a personal brand that outlives any role or company? Each week, Personal Branding Evangelist and LinkedIn Strategist Carla Taylor interviews amazing people who are bringing their brilliance and forging their own path. She helps business leaders navigate the unknown by helping them stay relevant and known in their field, be their authentic selves, and love what they do. After supporting thousands of clients in achieving their goals, Carla Taylor realized she needed to “walk the talk” for her own personal brand. She started saying yes to opportunities, making social media connections in real life, and having a lot more fun along the way. www.itstimetobringit.com To get more of Bring Your Brilliance ~ Carla Taylor, be sure to visit the archives page for replays of all her shows here: https://www.inspiredchoicesnetwork.com/podcast/bring-your-brilliance-with-carla-taylor/
