New Steelers defensive coordinator Patrick Graham spoke to the media for the first time today. Can the Steelers' defense take the next step this year and actually preform like the highest paid unit in football? Mullsy thinks Patrick Graham's defense in Las Vegas last year was unfairly evaluated due to how bad their offense was. The Steelers were 17th in scoring defense last year despite being the most expensive unit in the entire league. Pittsburgh forced six turnovers and made an offense scoring over 30 points per game look completely lost. The Steelers had the best defensive performance in the NFL this season and dominated the best offense in football. Joe gives Mike Tomlin an A+ for his coaching job against Indianapolis.

The Steelers defense held the NFL's leading rusher, Jonathan Taylor, to 45 yards. The defensive line receives an A+ from all of us, and Ray Fittipaldo of the Post-Gazette. The linebackers earn an A+. Payton Wilson had 14 tackles, an interception, and a deflected ball for an interception. Joe gives the Steelers secondary an A-. The World Series was incredible and ended in extra innings in Game 7.
