Sinn Féin's Pa Daly has initiated a High Court challenge to the constitutionality of Super Junior Ministers. Pa Daly joined Pat to explain why he is taking the action and Professor David Kenny of Trinity College Dublin brings us through the Constitution.

Clare's opposition TD insists the new coalition must enshrine commitments on a second MidWest Emergency Department and a targeted approach to the housing crisis in their programme for government. The make up of the ruling parties of the 34th Dáil is all but complete, with Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Regional Independents finally reaching an agreement. The full programme for government, which is expected to be published in full today, will essentially outline all the targets and projects the coalition will aim to deliver over the next Dáil term. The programme will have to first be ratified by Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil party members though and they'll hold internal votes in the coming days. The Regional Independents make up the third faction in government, following the promise of two Super Junior ministries, with the Healy-Rae brothers expected to join the grouping. Michael Healy-Rae is expecting to be named a Minister of State. When the Dáil reconvenes next Wednesday, the first order of business will be to vote for the new Taoiseach. Micheál Martin, as leader of the largest party, is expected to get the position for three years, with Simon Harriss getting it for the remainder of the term. After this, senior cabinet positions will be assigned. Clare Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe says everything is still on the table. Clare's opposition TD says the new coalition must enshrine commitments on a second MidWest Emergency Department and a targeted approach to the housing crisis in their programme for government. Shannon Sinn Féin Deputy Donna McGettigan says the incoming government must seize the opportunity to make change.

They discussed the intricate booking of the A block, highlighted by El Desperado, TJP, Blake Christina, Titan, Kevin Knight and more. They talked about how the booking built the drama perfectly in the block, keeping almost everyone involved in it until the last day of action. They also looked at the B block, and how injuries and substitutions may have changed New Japan's original ideas, and why DOUKI is moving closer to being on par with Hiromu Takahashi, Taiji Ishimori and the rest of the elite in the junior heavyweight division. The Eastern Lariat takes a detailed look at Rossy Ogawa's new project with a match-by-match analysis and a projection for some of the roster members' prospects within the new company. A few days later, also in Korakuen Hall, Kyoko Kimura presented the 2024 Memorial Show for her late daughter Hana. For this one, STRIGGA & Dylan discuss how far you can go with yearly memorial shows of this kind. The men's side of puroresu is represented by Pro Wrestling NOAH's One Night Dream 2 that featured Kenoh vs. Minoru Suzuki and Masa Kitamiya vs. Tomohiro Ishii as well as with a half tiem check on New Japan Pro Wrestling's Best of the Super Junior 31. With the final headlining Dominion, the die seems to be cast – or is it?

Steven Conway and Jeremy Finestone are back with Speaking of Strong Style! The pair discussed the recent Resurgence show, featuring an excellent match between Jon Moxley and Shota Umino, and how the match was done differently than most mentor-student battles. They also talked about the chaotic tag team situation, Jeff Cobb's terrific TV title match with Lance Archer, Shingo Takagi's beatdown of Yuya Uemura, and more. Jeremy and Steven looked at the current IWGP title situation with EVIL, and weather House of Torture is the right move for a title match on a huge show after a poll suggested fans might see things differently. They also covered the first week of the Best of the Super Junior tournament that saw Taiji Ishimori, Black Christian, Titan and KUSHIDA get off to hot starts while Hiromu Takahashi and TJP struggled. Will that form hold, or will there be changes to the standings in week two?    

In a BIG recap of Golden Week, the Eastern Lariat returns after a month-long hiatus.
