İkrime (r.a.) vasıtasıyla Abdullah b. Abbâs (r.a.)'den rivâyet edildiğine göre Resûlullâh (s.a.v), Abbâs b. Abdulmuttalib (r.a.)'e şöyle buyurmuşlardır: “Ey Abbâs, ey amcam! Onu dört rek'at olarak kılarsın. Bunu on kere de rükûda söylersin. Sonra rükûdan başını kaldırıp bunları on kere daha söylersin. Sonra secdeye gidersin on kere de secdede söylersin. Secdeden başını kaldırıp on kere, ikinci secdeye varıp on kere daha bunları tekrar edersin.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, the group celebrates Star Wars Day with Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back; making sure that our friend and fellow host @arniecallego sticks his promise of watching the original @starwars trilogy. Joining us on in this episode is David Glanzer, Chief Strategist of @comic_con. Listen as we geek out on David’s many stories about his experiences in possibly his biggest fandom, we talk about why it took Arnold over one whole year to finally get around to watching #TESB, wax nostalgic over the bygone days of video rental stores, and David rights a massive faux pas that many people, including hardcore long time fans, make when they leave out the “THE” in “The Empire Strikes Back”. May the Fourth be with you.
The Star Wars Lads return with the final part of a classic Star Wars debate- How do you rank the films in the Skywalker Saga? We give our rankings and then break down our 3-1 slots with our reasoning and thoughts behind our choices for our top 3 films, which are some of the greatest films of all time, let alone Star Wars films. Hope y'all enjoy!

For the 40th Anniversary Matt and Mark review the best of the Star Wars "ennealogy" Episode 5, The Empire Strikes Back, as we should. Why is this one the better? A host of reasons one could say, but it's really the scenes and production of TESB that makes it what it is. Care is taken with each scene to frame the acting and gravitas of each situation. Unlike the latter films, we're not fire-hosed with undigested CGI and stiff inconsequential acting. The sets and scenes of TESB are unique and atmospheric and pause accordingly to allow the viewer to take a virtual tour of the Galaxy Far Far Away.Download: 322 The Empire Strikes Back

In honor of its 40th Anniversary, this episode is all about publicity on The Empire Strikes Back, with special guest Craig Miller (Lucasfilm Publicity 1970s-1980s). We talk about how the publicity campaign was a pioneer for its time, ushering in a new way of marketing movies that continues to this day. Some of these include a 1-800 number to speak with your favorite Star Wars character, articles in Bantha Tracks, and The Muppet Show appearance. Craig was largely responsible for all content of Bantha Tracks, the first Star Wars fan club magazine, and talks about the lead-up to TESB through its pages. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, this week we are looking at the vast influence of TESB director Irvin Kershner has had on the galaxy far far away. A director who in 1980 seemed to have come from nowhere but had deep connections to the early days of Lucas' career. What did his unique perspective add to Star Wars? How did his influence almost make Empire get shut down? It's a fascinating story of a person who's role in the saga is not talked about enough! Nebiyy-i Ekrem (asm) “İmânınızı dâimâ yenileyiniz” buyurduğunda: “Yâ Resûlellah imanımızı nasıl yenileyeceğiz?” diye sual olundu. Hak dostları, yalvarış ve yakarışların ancak samimiyet, sıdk ve sadâkat içinde edâ edildiği ölçüde “İsm-i A’zam”a iktiran etmiş gibi rahmet arşına ulaşacağını âdeta İsm-i A’zam iksiri gibi hüsn-ü kabûl göreceğini söylemişlerdir. Zât-ı Ulûhiyeti tanımanın, ancak Esmâ-i İlâhiye’yi bilmekle mümkün olacağını kabul etmeli.
Beş vakit içerisinde “salât-ı vustâ”, cuma gününde “vakt-i icâbe” (duaların umumiyetle kabul olacağı saat), insanlar arasında veli kullar, ramazan ayında Kadir Gecesi, bütün tâat ve ibadetler içerisinde rıza-yı ilâhî, kâinatın ömründe kıyamet ve ferdin hayatı içerisinde ölüm anı gizlendiği gibi; Esmâ-i Hüsnâ arasında da İsm-i A’zam gizli tutulmuştur. Mü’minlerin sürekli uyanık, dikkatli ve devamlı Allah’a (celle celâluhû) ibadet ve tâat içerisinde bulunmalarına vesilelik eden bu gizlilikten dolayı hangi ismin “a’zam” olduğu da bilinememiş; pek çok muhtelif isim, İsm-i A’zam olarak zikredilmiştir. Allah dostları, yalvarış ve yakarışların ancak samimiyet, sıdk ve sadâkat içinde edâ edildiği ölçüde “İsm-i A’zam”a iktiran etmiş gibi rahmet arşına ulaşacağını âdeta İsm-i A’zam iksiri gibi hüsn-ü kabûl göreceğini söylemişlerdir. Zât-ı Ulûhiyeti tanımanın, ancak Esmâ-i İlâhiye’yi bilmekle mümkün olacağını kabul etmeli. Bediuzzaman Hz ifadeleri buyuruyor ; Namazdan sonraki tesbihatlar tarikat-ı Muhammediye’dir (s.a.v.) ve velayet-i Ahmediye’nin (s.a.v.) bir evradıdır. Rasulullah'dan sonra halifeliğe geçecek Hulefa-i Raşidine işaret ediyor. Akşam namazından sonra okunması tavsiye edilen La Yestevi ayetlerini Abdussamet enfes okuyor.

I’m a huge Star Wars fan and have watched the Original Trilogy about ten billion times. Erin doesn’t remember watching any Star Wars movie so we both watch, and then we review. I set the bar pretty high with The Empire Strikes Back so does Erin think it lives up to my hype? Erin is also unique since she began her Star Wars journey with Rogue One as opposed to A New Hope or Episode I. Stay tuned after the review for the comments we made during the movie. This episode is very special for us. Not only does it mark a milestone of sorts as we reach issue #100 of Marvel's Star Wars, but we are incredibly honored to have with us one of the talents that truly elevated this title and made it the great and fun comic we all look back on with such fond memories. For this episode, we have brought on comics legend David Michelinie to discuss his fantastic work on what could have been -- and by all rights, what should have been -- the weakest link in the the Marvel Star Wars saga -- that interminable wait between TESB and ROTJ -- but instead he hit the ground running and turned out the fastest paced, most exciting, most original run of the title, producing what for many of us are our favorite characters, environments, and storylines, such as The Tarkin space station, Plif and the hoojibs, The Return to Cloud City, Shira Brie, Luke Skywalker: Pariah, and Fenn Shysa. We'll also be discussing his work on The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones and a few other surprises! BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!! We are also joined this episode by the Irredeemable Shag of the Fire and Water Podcast for a lively discussion of the Special Double-Sized 100th Issue!!Feedback for this show can be sent to: starwars@twotruefreaks.comTwo True Freaks! is a proud member of BOTH the Comics Podcast Network (http://www.comicspodcasts.com/) and the League of Comic Book Podcasts (http://www.comicbooknoise.com/league/)!! This week we take a deeper look into the space side of Star Wars Galaxies. Two influential pilots from the Valcyn galaxy call-in to discuss their passion for flying and the space side of the game. We put them to our trivia challenge and a special “pilots only? pop-quiz. MrBubble rants on about a grocery store clerk (I still think his joke was... not humorous or Star Warsy), we have some fun with the “Lando? theme from TESB, and update you about this weekend’s Podcast Party!
