Director and dancer extraordinaire Dom Glover returns as he has a production of Memphis happening at the Rep in June. To be blunt, (AND GOOD THING I DON'T GET FEDERAL FUNDING, F THEM) Dom is on the hunt for Black performers...and then hopefully a Black audience. I asked around and we don't have any organized community of Black performers who are seeking to hit a stage. BUT those individuals may be out there, and Dom wants them! Let's add Black excellence to our already bright and thriving performing arts community. First, a teacher followed a student home over homework and this... Good Morning everyone! Happy Tuesday! Welcome back to the My Morning Devotional podcast. I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with you. After three and a half incredible years together, I've decided to pass the torch to my church family, who will be taking over the show. Today's devo, "A Time to Dance," is inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:11. As we navigate change, let's remember that God makes everything beautiful in its time. It's been an incredible three and a half years, and I'm honored to pass the torch. As I reflect on the journey of this podcast. I encourage you to dance through every season, knowing that God is at work, even when we can't see it, as we embark on this transition, let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, take one step at a time, and dance in the waiting. Our prayer is that God continues to guide us and that we remain open to His plans. Join us on this journey of faith, and let's keep dancing in His love. Keep up with Alison: www.alisondelamota.com Meet the Alessi's: www.alessifamilybusiness.com Get to Know My Church: www.metrolifechurch.com

Why do people dance? Dancing is an activity that serves a variety of purposes for different people. Dancing was a part of the Hebrew Culture in the Old Testament. There are several passages in the Bible where people danced: Exodus 15:20-21, 2 Samuel 6:14-15, Psalm 149:2-3, Ecclesiastes 3:4, Luke 15:25, among others. My Friend, we need to move counter intuitive to the grief and sadness that grips our nation and come to our senses and celebrate the eternal victory that is in Jesus Christ. IT IS TIME TO DANCE! It's time to for us to go put on our favorite feel-good music from our teenage era, turn it up loud, and celebrate being alive in our Father's world. Dance in every way- mentally, physically, and spiritually. (Background on dancing created with ChatGPT- trying it out. Very helpful. Verdict is out on if its a good things are bad thing. Will be attending a web forum sponsored by Acast, this hosting platform to find out more about all of this. AI technology is being implemented at all levels of our lives.
