Why do people dance? Dancing is an activity that serves a variety of purposes for different people. Dancing was a part of the Hebrew Culture in the Old Testament. There are several passages in the Bible where people danced: Exodus 15:20-21, 2 Samuel 6:14-15, Psalm 149:2-3, Ecclesiastes 3:4, Luke 15:25, among others. My Friend, we need to move counter intuitive to the grief and sadness that grips our nation and come to our senses and celebrate the eternal victory that is in Jesus Christ. IT IS TIME TO DANCE! It's time to for us to go put on our favorite feel-good music from our teenage era, turn it up loud, and celebrate being alive in our Father's world. Alexa Magro is an actress who is no stranger to musical theatre. She has had a passion for it from a young age, and knew that she wanted to join the community. Magro go to take part in the 1st National tour of the Broadway musical, The Prom where she played Kailee. Her rehearsal process for the show was very quick and learned the choreography in 12 hours. It was an honor for her to share the stage with such a wonderful group of people 8 times a week. Now, (post interview), Magro is part of the national tour of the hit Broadway musical, Hamilton where she is in the ensemble. While living her dreams working in musical theatre, Magro is also taking college classes online through the University of Arizona. Dancing these days has been relegated to having Meg the Stallion knees and the uncanny ability to gyrate a single side of one's gluteus maximus on command. Perchance, if your Tik Tok trend can hit a million views from your mastery of choreography, you, my friend, have reached the pinnacle of stardom. Well, let me tell you now, if that is the prerequisite, many of us are disqualified. Much like laughter, dance is awakened by the presence of something pleasant. And no, this isn't scientifically proven by experts, but I can say with all confidence, we've all witnessed how food that hits the spot can cause one to dance happily. Or we've seen how exciting news could result in a shimmy. Most of us can't help but bounce to an imaginary beat when we've received something unexpected but hoped for. Similar to music, I think dance is universal. But I've noticed that one's dance capability is relative depending on who you ask. I would even venture to say that when it comes to dancing, movement and rhythm, a particular group of people of a certain pigmentation tend to feel they have the monopoly. #melaninainttheonlythingpoppin

Have you ever been plunged into a crossroads in your life and known instantly that this decision would either mean sacrificing something you have loved and devoted your life to…or walking away from a beautiful new future that you can only dimly imagine?   That is exactly what my guest Jenn Kray faced. In this episode of The Christian Mother, learn how she dealt with her uncertainties and forged ahead, finding new ways to put her knowledge, skills, and experience in the service of God and her community.   As Jenn's story unfolds, she shares the titles of books that helped her become the Catholic mother she yearned to be, including Around the Year with the von Trapp Family, The Year and Our Children, Raising Good Catholic Children, The Christian Mother, and The Mirror of True Womanhood.   Outlining her thoughts on time management, Jenn explains how she incorporates the teaching of life skills into her mothering and homeschooling and how she adapted her housekeeping expectations to the challenges of raising a large family.   In the latter part of the show Jenn describes her experience with The Little Flowers Girls' Club, which is based on the virtues taught in Fr.
