The second day of the Democratic National Convention was a complete party. The celebration carried on through the ceremonial roll-call (where Governor Gavin Newsom cast California's delegate votes) onto the screen where Vice President Harris and Minnesota Governor Walz, standing before a massive crowd at a Wisconsin rally, were beamed into the DNC via satellite. Both Barack and Michelle Obama were inspirational and masterful with their words. The dynamic speakers kept coming with Senators Bernie Sanders and Tammy Duckworth and First Gentleman Doug Emhoff. Messages of hard work, getting things done and reproductive freedom were highlighted. During roll-call, Kate Cox - the mom who had to leave the state of Texas in order to get an abortion that was threatening her life - announced that she is once again pregnant, thanks to reproductive care she received elsewhere. Her public journey through new Trump era abortion laws elevated the issue along with Michelle Obama and Senator Duckworth talking about using IVF to have children. Prepare yourselves for a cinematic gang bang as Peter brings us a Gang themed week. We've scoured the depths of the criminal underworld to bring you the top 5 gangs to grace the silver screen. 2019 Mexican drama I'M NO LONGER HERE tells the story of Ulises, the leader of a Cholombiano street gang in Monterrey, Mexico, who's forced to relocate to New York after accidentally becoming involved in a dispute with a local cartel. You guys probably knew already that Cholombiano culture involved flamboyant fashion and listening to slowed down Cumbian folk music but this was all new to me. Full of accordions, vibrant colours and contrastingly muted tones, we spend a good chunk of the review describing the main characters haircut, because it turns out to be thematically relevant as well as quite a remarkable sight. Peter claims to have watched this movie more than a hundred times or something but I'm not so sure and when Sidey describes this as Spanish PATERSON that resonated with me as it captures the vibe of this slow and thoughtful meditation on identity, alienation, immigration and artistic expression.We finish things up with a look back at WACKY RACES and if that gets your nostalgia vein throbbing I'm afraid it's time to get flaccid again because this was awful and the races were obviously fixed. The biggest selling point of the show tonight is the Blood and Guts match. The bout will see Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta team up with PAC and Konosuke Takeshita to battle Kenny Omega, Adam Page, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Kota Ibushi inside the cage. The Blood and Guts match marks Ibushi's AEW debut following months of speculation about his future after leaving NJPW.  Also, HOOK has been out to get revenge on "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry since his old tag team partner betrayed him at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Tonight, HOOK puts the FTW Championship on the line against Jack Perry.  Finally, Adam Cole and MJF will face Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia in the final round of the Blind Eliminator Tournament. MJF and Cole have formed somewhat of a strange bedfellows bromance lately, while Guevara and Garcia are out to prove that they can succeed without the guidance of Chris Jericho. The winning team will also receive a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles, which are currently held by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
