In 1960, WBAI Radio in New York City hosted a historic debate between two prominent civil rights leaders, Malcolm X and Bayard Rustin. The discussion centered around the best approach to achieving racial equality and justice in America. Malcolm X, a fiery advocate for black nationalism and self-defense, argued for a more radical and militant approach to combating systemic racism. On the other hand, Bayard Rustin, and follower of Martin Luther King Jr and a key organizer of the March on Washington, advocated for nonviolent resistance and integration as the most effective means of achieving civil rights. The debate highlighted the ideological divisions within the civil rights movement and sparked important conversations about the most effective strategies for achieving racial equality in America. The debate is moderated by John Donald of the Pacifica Network. More at Krobcollection.com

I had the honor of reading Lindsay's amazing book - In Our Element: Using the Five Elements as Soul Medicine to Unleash Your Personal Power - prior to talking to Lindsay. I was blown away by this book in the way that it explains the elements and creates a system for you to access your elemental energies. Immerse Yourself in the Wisdom and Healing Power of the Elements All five elements live within you, and experiences like heartache, anxiety, and procrastination are signs that one of them is out of balance. This beginner-friendly book introduces you to each of the elements―Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal―and shows you how to use them to improve your mental, emotional, and spiritual health. In Our Element weaves together Eastern medicine, Western psychology, Indigenous traditions, and African ancestral principles of spirituality. With a practical approach that incorporates journal prompts, flower essences, yoga poses, and music, Lindsay Fauntleroy teaches you how to tap into the five elements for a balanced and empowered life that aligns with your soul's calling. Lindsay Fauntleroy is an acupuncturist, integrative counselor, educator, and thought- leader in the field of mind-body medicine. Her interdisciplinary approach draws  on the wisdom of psychology, the science of the subtle body, the intersection of spiritual and religious teachings, and indigenous approaches to self-cultivation and mastery.   Lindsay guides patients on their journey to physical and emotional wellness, meaningful transformation, and personal evolution as they manifest their goals. Lindsay was drawn to mind-body medicine after her own journey to fertility introduced her to the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.  Lindsay has been immersed the healing arts- including meditation, yoga, astrology, divination, and Qi Gong- for over 20 years. Her extensive training includes a Master of Arts from New York University,  a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture, and myofascial Trigger Point release. She is also a certified flower essence practitioner and yoga instructor, weaving mind body and spirit together to facilitate lasting change in her patients' lives.   Lindsay firmly believes that the power to heal should rest in the hands and hearts of all communities.    She provides emerging healers with practitioner certification in the art and science of flower essence therapy.  She is the first and only practitioner authorized by the Flower Essence Society to offer their practitioner certification training in the United States.  Lindsay's line of alchemical Five Element flower essence remedies, the Elementals, are available nationally and internationally. Lindsay also enthusiastically shares her wealth of experience and knowledge through private sessions, workshops and speaking engagements. She has been published  in the International Journal of Flower Essences, NY Yoga+Life Magazine, and she has enjoyed guest appearances ESSENCE.com, NYC's WBAI Radio, and The Doyennes Den. Get a copy of book just released on August 8 - In Our Element: Using the Five Elements as Soul Medicine to Unleash Your Personal Power https://www.amazon.com/Our-Element-Elements-Medicine-Personal/dp/073877054X/ Buy My Art - Unique Sigil Magic and Energy Activation Through Flow Art and Voyages Through Space and Imagination. https://www.newearth.art/ BUY MY BOOK! https://www.amazon.com/Reality-Revolution-Mind-Blowing-Movement-Hack/dp/154450618X/ Listen to my book on audible https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Reality-Revolution-Audiobook/B087LV1R5V The New Earth Activation trainings - Immerse yourself in 12 hours of content focused on the new earth with channeling, meditations, advanced training and access to the new earth https://realityrevolutioncon.com/newearth Alternate Universe Reality Activation  get full access to new meditations, new lectures, recordings from the reality con and the 90 day AURA meditation schedulehttps://realityrevolutionlive.com/aura45338118 Like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/The-Reality-Revolution-Podcast-Hosted-By-Brian-Scott-102555575116999 Join our Facebook group The Reality Revolution https://www.facebook.com/groups/523814491927119 Contact us at media@advancedsuccessinstitute.com For coaching – https://www.advancedsuccessinstitute.com For all episodes of the Reality Revolution – https://www.therealityrevolution.com Follow Us on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRealityRevolution/ Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/the_reality_revolution/ Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/mediaprime Follow me on MeWe https://mewe.com/i/brianscott71 All My Interviews -- https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKv1KCSKwOo_Y78_zt_zv9TI1AGx-WimT All my Audiobooks - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKv1KCSKwOo-ArT_9WQ-SrKaEP7VgIPb5 #elements #soulmedicine #magic

This week on RADIO GAG our special guest is author Sebene Selassie who joins host Paul Rowley to talk about her brand new book YOU BELONG. The book is a joyous celebration of togetherness and connection - something that has been stripped away from us especially in the past four years. How do we overcome divisiveness? With many of us exhausted after the last four years what does belonging mean for activists and those who are fighting for justice? And how can belonging connect us in a way to fight gun violence? And as always we bring you the latest news from the gun violence prevention movement and our weekly In Memoriam where we honor a life lost to gun. “With grace, intelligence, and palpable compassion, Selassie weaves discussions of implicit bias, intergenerational trauma, and white supremacy throughout her coverage of more traditional spiritual topics, such as ego and conscious awareness. This is a powerful work of spirituality and anti-racism.” Publisher's Weekly "To belong is also to acknowledge injustice, reckon with history, and face our own shadows. Full of practical advice and profound revelations, You Belong makes a winning case for resisting the forces that demand separation and reclaiming the connection—and belonging—that have been ours all along." This is an extended version of the show which aired first on WBAI Radio.
