Our guest today is Leta Herman, an Alchemical Healer, Chinese Medicine teacher, author and host of the Inspired Action Podcast. Leta has immersed herself in the philosophies of Daoism, Alchemical Healing, and Chinese Medicine for over twenty years. A long-time student of Master Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th generation Daoist priest, she is also a graduate of Eliot Cowan's Plant Spirit Medicine studies program. Additionally, Leta has studied extensively with teachers and former students of J.R. Worsley, who brought Five Element Acupuncture to England in the 1960s. In this episode we discuss the fascinating evolution of Chinese Medicine in today's world and how the practice emphasizes our elemental constitution. We learn about the distinctions between TCM, Classical, and Five Element approaches. Leta shares her own transformative journey from skepticism to deep healing, and how her battle with endometriosis led her to embrace Daoist philosophies. We explore innovative healing approaches like the non-needling needle technique in acupuncture and the use of the Ghost Points for mental health treatment. Leta emphasizes the need for practitioners to create a safe and non-judgmental space for healing, recognizing that illness can often be seen as a choice between potential or pathology. This perspective encourages a shift in how we view and approach healing, fostering a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between physical, emotional, and spiritual health. From clearing "chaotic energy" to the nine stages of alchemy for personal transformation, don't miss out on this rich discussion that seamlessly blends ancient wisdom with modern healing practices. As founder of the Alchemy Healing Center, a Chinese Medicine teaching clinic in the USA, Leta is dedicated to helping clients find their true potential through Alchemical transformation. She describes her practice as “very unique and diverse, focusing on ancient Chinese healing practices that are largely unknown today in the Western culture.” A Smith College graduate and past nationally syndicated journalist, Leta is a world explorer who speaks multiple languages, loves life and her family.letaherman.comalchemyhealingcenter.comLiked what you heard? Welcome to another David Snyder's NLP training video! In this insightful talk, David will share the simplicity and power inherent in connecting with elemental principles, the secrets of elemental practices, dissolving into elemental frequencies, positive fire energy, and more. Standout Quotes: ● "The most powerful stuff is usually simple. Complicated stuff can be powerful, but it's almost always way more specialized and therefore only good in a certain situation." ● "You are not who you think you are, you are far more, and you're capable of way more." ●"You don't have personality. You have personalities. Personas are masks that we wear or costumes that we put on. They're literally habits of behavior and thought, that's all they are." ●"For everything you can conceive of, there is a location somewhere in your neurology that mediates that phenomenon. Because you have an organic location where that stuff can be accessed." ●"What you do with the energy once you're harmonized and attuned to it is up to you. But the positive fire is always playful." ●"It's impossible to burn something that's already burning. So the idea is to dissolve into this principle and allow the attributes to reinforce the good things and to transform the negative things." ●"You have to be able to expel it from your body if it's not harmonious or it's causing a problem because excess energy in the body will find something to do, and it may not be what you want it to do." ●"There's fire already in you. We're just shifting our consciousness to that frequency so we can get more of it and become one with it again." Key Takeaways: ●The most powerful concepts are often the simplest. Avoid unnecessary complexity and focus on the core principles. ●Understand the core attributes of the five elements (fire, air, void, water, metal/earth) and go beyond literal interpretations. Connect with the principles behind the elements rather than their physical expressions. ●Practice dissolving into the elemental frequencies, starting with the purely imagined construct. Develop the ability to merge with the energy, allowing it to flow through you and deepen your connection and attunement. ●Scan your body for any areas with excess energy. Learn to release this energy consciously, ensuring it doesn't manifest in unwanted ways. ●embodying elemental principles in your physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions will guide your actions, reactions, and overall approach to life. For Metals, a Free Heart can mean the difference between flying and falling. How can the Metal Elemental type free their hearts and fly free in life? Can you let the power of the Metal Lungs let go of deep-seated anger and jealousy to fly their magic carpet through life instead of falling and going splat? "If you can say that you always do this particular thing whenever that particular situation happens, the question is why ... and at the core of this is the idea that those issues probably come from your heart pains, which come from past experiences that we can't let go of, and are haunted by -- even if it's completely unconscious." By Jaye McElroy and Leta Herman | Follow: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram What are the Metal tentacles of the heart ? Update from Alchemy Learning Center: Dai Mai Livestream Course Coming up on April 16! Learn about the Master Alchemy Apprenticeship Program! 2023 cohort now open for enrollment Apathy and Deep Seated Anger are the the primary tentacles for Metal people (bonus: Temptation and Jealousy). The Yin nature of Metals makes them more reserved and observant - less "overly involved" - so more prone to retreat and shutting down. A Metal person's nightmare could have them feeling disconnected and unable to find the way back. The Apathy is the feeling that they'd rather do nothing -- life is just too painful -- when they've experienced deep trauma and the disconnect can feel all encompassing. Apathy can be a mechanism where total surrender of CONTROL (especially in instances of trauma and abuse) allows for the Metal person to survive the circumstances of their environment. Even if they aren't doing something about it, a Metal person is going to feel Deep Seated Anger at the injustice of the situation; this could be suppressed and building up until a time when it explodes! Metals tend not to overindulge on things like food, though they might feel tempted by things they aren't supposed to have... A Metal person can get really stuck in addiction if it feeds the impulse to be non-compliant with a norm (they follow the rules but find ways to be slightly deviant) -- think about the "cool" smoker. Moxibustion or incense could help to offset some feelings of lack if a Metal smoker decides to quit. Metal Jealousy is about not getting the RESPECT they deserve, and seeing others get it. The Free Your Heart Meditation can help you to re-write the memories of experiences which have caused these tentacles to develop and create triggers in your life today. Stephanie Nosco joins Mason for another instalment of our Five Element seasonal series. Today we're exploring the Earth Element and Yi; the Spirit of the Spleen. In this insightful conversation Stephanie shares the simple lifestyle measures we can take to nourish our Earth Element and allow our Yi to express freely. The Spleen/Earth Element corresponds to the practical magic of our daily toil, when harnessed with intention and care, this is the energy that allows us to anchor our visions and materialise them into tangible form. Yi is at the centre of this manifestation process. Yi is intercepting medium between what is of the heavens (Yang) and what is of the earth (Yin). Yi enables us the ability to reduce our projects into achievable bite sized tasks, think the methodical magic of a well written to do list. In relation to the seasonal cycle, Yi and the Earth Element are connected to Late Summer, the period that follows the Yang of Spring/Summer and precedes the descent into the Yin of Autumn/Winter. This energy is characterised by digestion; whether that be on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual planes. Yi governs intellect and applied thinking; processes that allow us to make sense of our experience through the organisation of thoughts and feelings. Yi is heavily interconnected with the Shen (cognition and clear thinking) and Hun (higher vision/planning), when all 3 are working in harmony we are more equipped to live our lives on purpose, devoting the chop/wood carry water of our daily actions to the embodiment of our destiny, and the establishment of a legacy that will exist beyond our physical form. Mason and Stephanie discuss: - Yi, the Spirit of the Spleen. - Moving Earth; using the Five Elements to create bonds and boundaries. - Writing a to do list as a spiritual act. - Pacifying overwhelm with celebration. - Bringing dreams into fruition and the energy or I vs we; individuation vs unity. - Navigating the upper, middle and lower worlds with Wu Shen. - Devotion and legacy; the relationship between the Fire and Earth elements. - Using Spleen energy to bring yourself back into centre. - The diaphragm; embodying Heaven on Earth through breath. - Rumination, knotted Qi and Damp Spleen. - Consumerism and Spleen imbalances. - Lifestyle tips to consider when working to nourish the Spleen/Earth Element. How can Earths free their hearts and feel a sense of abundance and nourishment in life? Can you let go of resentments and heal from the past... Tune in for this core Earth Element episode! "The first step is acknowledging that the problem isn't outside of you. That these outer circumstances are happening, but inside it's time to look at yourself and why you're being so triggered...so first ask yourself: what are the triggers?" By Jaye McElroy and Leta Herman | Follow: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram https://chrt.fm/track/5E3D1B/traffic.libsyn.com/inspiredactionpodcast/IAP-105REV2.mp3 What are your Earth tentacles of the heart ? What would happen if the Earth came to an abrupt halt?! Revisit Pod 2 and Pods 12-16 to brush up on basics of the Five Elements Two types of Earth: Stomach and Spleen. What does each mean? Food can play a major role in an Earth person's life...sometimes positive, sometimes negative. Earth people sometimes struggle with feelings of lack, coupled with a denial of this feeling, and this can occasionally lead to... Overindulgence. Some Earth people have tentacles that mess with their appetite, and may develop an eating disorder. The flavor of Deep Seated Anger for Earth is Resentment, and when unaddressed this can come out in some not-so-nice ways... Earth is right in the middle of Yin & Yang, and has some of both aspects. Earth Apathy can be understood as an extreme version of putting others' needs ahead of their own Occasional Jealousy (or Envy) can happen for Earths, especially when coupled with the deep seated anger and/or resentment. Earth people do not like feeling like they've been "duped"! How to address these tentacles? Earth goes into problem solving mode -- but can go round and round--so it's important to look inward. Check out the Free Your Heart Meditation in the Second Stage of Alchemy Meditations in the Alchemy Learning Center to practice this! Biodynamic Osteopathy and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Show Guest: Michael Shea Drawing on more than 45 years of practicing Eastern medicine, Michael J. Shea, Ph.D., presents a holistic guide to biodynamic manual therapy practices for optimizing the immune system and for healing the deep spiritual suffering of our contemporary world. Showing spiritual suffering to be the root of our modern epidemic of metabolic syndrome and other widespread health issues, the author explains how the pervasive degradation of the human body relates directly with the food we eat, the air we breathe, and our thoughts and emotions. He explains how the Five Element theory of Eastern medicine offers a method to reclaim the body by sensing each element in and around us as a single continuum. Focusing especially on “the fluid body” in Biodynamic Osteopathy and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, the author shows how inflamed components of the fluid body, such as the blood and lymphatic system, form the substrate of metabolic syndromes. He offers practices to visualize the health of the fluid body. He explains how, in order to enact the full benefits of the immune system, we need to nurture a deep sense of safety inside the body--a symbolic return to our embryonic and cosmic origins and a restoration of our sacred wholeness. Offering an extensive practical section, including both in-person and remote techniques, the author shares new and unique biodynamic protocols to balance the metabolism with the cosmos as well as optimize the immune system and the function of the vagus nerve. Enacting healing at the deepest spiritual level, Shea reveals how to create inner and outer balance to restore wholeness as it was at the time of the origin of the universe.
Ever since Equine Therapy school I was fascinated with the Element theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine and how it provided a lens to understand horses and their health better, as well as understanding myself. Now, many years later, Susan Tenney of Elemental Acupressure re-kindled this fascination for me and I'm so excited to share this super helpful and interesting understanding with you! In this episode we chatted about how to identify the main element of your horse, the behvioural and personality patterns related, the health implications of their key element and how you can help them to be their most healthy, and how you and your horse's main element combine in the most supportive way. Enjoy! Susan's students and clients say that she positively shines when she works. Her love of animals comes through in everything she does. To illustrate her ideas, Susan can be theatrical – making an idea come alive by panting like a happy dog or drooping her head and sighing like a horse relaxing into a massage. These images stay with students, helping them integrate ancient Chinese Medical concepts into their modern day lives. To Susan, Five Element acupressure for animals is so insightful and powerful that it seems wondrous. She passes on that sense of wonder to her students, clients, and readers. Susan feels strongly that massage and acupressure are for everyone – not just the “experts". This you- can-do-it attitude carries over into her classes where she delights in demystifying Chinese Medicine and Five Element theory. Her deep experience and gentle touch makes her very popular with her students and readers as well as her four-legged clients! Susan teaches the Shiatsu, acupressure and Five Element theory courses. I love learning about different healing modalities, and I don't know a lot about the Chinese Daoist/Taoist system, let alone what the five elements cycle is. Which is why I spoke to Tisha Morris. Tisha is an entertainment attorney, feng shui expert, and the author of five books on the healing arts. Tisha explains how we each embody a primary element —water, wood, fire, earth, or metal - that defines our strengths. But what about our weaknesses? In this episode, we dive into her latest book: Missing Element Hidden Strength, to understand how we can activate our creative potential by improving our most challenging element. Find out more at www.TheConsciousDiva.com HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS EPISODE: How To understand and the use of the Five Element cycle. Her brand new book - Missing Element Hidden Strength. The roots of the I Ching and how this philosophy relates to Taoism, Chinese astrology, feng shui and acupuncture. Tisha explains how the five elements in the Chinese Taoist system are similar and different to Vedic philosophy and principals. Tisha breaks down how the elemental cycle can be applied to any creative process and relationships. She shares how we can level up once we understand what our missing element is in order to integrate our shadow. AND SO MUCH MORE! Experiences such as heartache, anxiety, and procrastination are signs that one of the elements is out of balance within you. By realigning with the elements, you can become the confident, energized, and fulfilled person you are meant to be.About the Guest:Lindsay Fauntleroy is a licensed acupuncturist and the founder of The Spirit Seed, a school that offers personal and professional development courses that are rooted in ancestral understandings of health, humanity, nature, and the cosmos. In today's episode, I wanted to offer another perspective on working with the elements and how ancient teachings are coming forward in our present lifetime. My guest is Lindsay Fauntleroy. She's a medicine maker, educator, and author of, " In our Elements: Soul Medicine to Unleash your Personal Power." In this episode, we talk about the five elements of the Chinese system, the element of Metal for the Fall, prayer boards, shared consciousness, money & honey, flower essences, and ways to support your own healing as well as the collective healing. Lindsay Fauntleroy was drawn to the healing arts after her own journey to fertility introduced her to the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. Her extensive training includes a Master of Arts from New York University, a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture, and myofascial Trigger Point release. Lindsay firmly believes that the power to heal should rest in the hands and hearts of all communities. Her approach to soul medicine emerges from over 15 years of clinical practice, her Ph.D studies of Indigenous and African Diasporic psychology, and her commitment to community wellness. She provides practitioner certification in the sacred art and science of flower essence therapy, which she offers in loving partnership with the Flower Essence Society and the MINKA Mystery School. Lindsay's line of alchemical Five Element flower essence remedies, the Elementals, are available nationally and internationally. https://www.thespiritseed.org/ https://www.instagram.com/lindsayfaunt/ What kind of body and what kind of soul am I? We can do everything on the surface and think we have everything. But if there's something within us that is out of alignment, even if you reach the goal, the fertility, the job, the, whatever it is, that if you're not in alignment, it really doesn't matter. These two things work together. Sometimes the material world is just an inspiration to do the inner work. Get into that soul energy and really check in and find out what is it. Go deep. Definitely sit still. Be quiet. Listen. Sometimes it's enduring the heartache or the pain or the discomfort while we're waiting for something to show itself. Four Sacred Elements - Air, Fire, Earth, Water. Whereas the Chinese acupuncture system works in the five elements. The Autumn Equinox brings us into the Metal element, which is essentially the fifth element of the five-element system that begins with Water... to Wood, to Fire, to Earth to Metal. Late summer is considered the earth element. The earth element is also the transition between each season. Every season goes back to the earth to replenish before becoming the next season. The prayer board is leaving space for the unknown... this or something better. Flower essences we use to help us access the consciousness or the intentions of each of these elements of nature. One of the soul lessons for the Metal element is being present, being in the present moment, and being in the now. Essential oils are more for the etheric or the emotional body, because they are so effective at moving Chi. Flower essences are taken internally as supplements. So you either put them in your water or put them in drops under your tongue and you ingest them. Instead of working more on the emotional body, they work more on our thoughts and perceptions. Flower essences shift us to a perspective that is more in alignment with our highest good and our highest intention. They're super subtle. Lindsay's hope is that people will use this book as a springboard. That they'll be introduced to some things that work, and discover other things that work just as well, if not better. We are all on this collective path of transformation together. This book is for a tribe of folks that she calls Neo-Ancients. There are a lot of us who are out there that are calling on older ancient technologies, spiritual traditions, healing, traditions, complementary and alternative medicine. What can we learn from our ancestors? What can we learn from the people who were most connected with the earth? Looking backward to look forward. As Lindsay reminds us, "Soul Medicine helps us to make space for Spirit that is always trying to communicate with us. It allows us to make space for that to come in and drive and direct us." Yes...Make space for what is unknown to bring it in, into a spirit-driven community. Check out Lindsay's work, and her flower essences and get her book. Judy Becker Worsley and David Berkshire return for another episode and a deeper dive into the Worsley Five Element lineage. Judy continues to share with us the impact on her life of the philosophies of the Five Elements system and how it has always served as a compass for her. The teachings of JR Worsley, that she and David continue to passionately share, help to liberate practitioners from the brainwashing of society, including the fallacy that by labelling people, we better understand them. Foundational to JR's teaching are the practices of humility, curiosity, and presence. These not only are hallmarks of impactful practitioners of medicine but also of practitioners of life as they help the individual transform into state of freedom and peace. We also explore more technical details of Five Element medicine, especially through an examination of the differences between constitutional factors and causative factors. And we conclude with the power of Five Elements in helping us to better understand the natural order of all. Judy Becker Worsley has been a devoted student of Professor JR Worsley since 1973, and was designated by JR to succeed him as Master of the lineage upon his death. Prior to his death, they founded the Worsley Institute, which is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Worsley Five Element Acupuncture tradition that is rooted in natural law. Joining Judy in this episode is David Berkshire, President of the Worsley Institute, located in Portland, Oregon, where David also has a busy clinical practice. July is upon us, 30 days of JING has begun, and we have well and truly fallen into cooler temperatures that call for nourishment, replenishment, and slowing down. Today on the podcast, we're reminding you of all things warming, tonifying, and delicious to replenish you in these cooler months with wellness coach and Qi Food Therapist Kimberly Ashton. We love having Kimberly on for our seasonal Five Element food podcasts- she reminds us to eat local, eat for the season, and above all, eat intuitively. Within the Five Element philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, there is an understanding that the more we rest in Winter, the more harvest we can expect in Late Summer. Understanding this critical element of Water/Winter time helps us surrender more willingly into hibernation and doing-less mode. Just as nature withdraws to compound its reserves for the warmer months, so should we. In this episode, Kimberly takes us on a journey through the flavours, foods, and cooking styles of the Water Element, explaining the philosophy behind eating and preparing food specifically for this season. Think salty flavours, Yin nourishment, and slow-cooked casseroles that leave you feeling satiated and warm. As always, Kimberly inspires us to localise our minds when buying produce, forage where possible, and eat intuitively- even if it means breaking the rules. Tune in and make sure you scroll down for Kimberly's deliciously warming black sesame superfood latte recipe. Kimberly and Mason discuss: -Yin foods for Winter. -Winter shopping list. -Cooking styles for Winter. -Winter foods and flavours. -Supporting local produce. -The truth about soya foods. -Foods that nourish the Kidneys. -Wild foraging Water Element foods. -How to eat if you have a Yin deficiency. -Why we don't eat the same foods all year round. -Traditional Chinese Medicine Five Element philosophy. Kimberly's black sesame superfood latte recipe Ingredients: -1 cup soy milk, cashew, or oat milk -1 teaspoon black sesame powder -1/2 teaspoon black tahini -1/2 teaspoon walnuts/hemp seeds (blended into powder)- optional -1 teaspoon coconut sugar/brown rice syrup or sweetener of choice -1/4 teaspoon SuperFeast JING tonic herb- optional -1/4 teaspoon Mason's Mushrooms tonic herb- optional -2 Jujube dates, to enjoy on the side Method: -Add milk to a small pot with the black sesame powder and black tahini -Bring to a boil and then simmer -Add the sugar/sweetener, stir -Add the walnut/hemp seed powder, stir -Turn off the heat and add the SuperFeast tonic herbs, stir well -Serve with the Jujube dates for a delicious morning or afternoon tea snack (alternatively you warm the milk and blend ALL the ingredients with the milk in a blender, including the Jujube dates- just remove the piths first). When a word like trauma is used frequently in society and in the media, we think we know what it means. But, when we apply more than one medical model to understand trauma, it's an opportunity to go “back to the drawing board” to understand and treat trauma more compassionately and effectively. As we emerge from the pandemic's toll of loss and isolation, a growing mental health crisis surrounds us. The status quo for treating mental illness is no longer sustainable. This crisis is the best time for reflection and integrative approaches to healing. In this episode, I sit down with my guest, Alaine Duncan, to discuss her innovative and integrative approach to understand and treat complex trauma. Alaine Duncan is a licensed acupuncturist, a Somatic Experiencing practitioner, and a very gifted educator. She has a unique approach to acupuncture that integrates modern understandings of the neurobiology of traumatic stress with ancient healing principles from Chinese medicine. She co-authored the book, The Tao of Trauma: A Practitioner's Guide for Integrating Five Element Theory in Trauma Treatment. Chinese and Western medicine operate from different foundations, but they are compatible with each other to give the best possible outcomes for your health. The journey to understand Chinese medicine starts with an introduction to two major principles called Yin-Yang theory and Five-Element theory. Alaine Duncan and I discuss these two principles in this episode as well as the influence of Taoist philosophy on Chinese medicine's approach to health. The Impacts on Your Third OpinionThere is an inseparable relationship between two parts of a whole. One part of your body cannot be well unless the other part is thriving. This is why you have to understand the big picture, and not just your illnesses as separate conditions on a list. The mind, body and spirit are connected to define your state of health, which is why mental illness should be treated in the context of the whole person. In this episode, Alaine Duncan and I discuss: Acupuncture's core value in restoring essential regulation in the body that becomes dysregulated from disease The introduction of Chinese medicine principles of Yin-Yang and Five-Element theories Taoist philosophy and how it pertains to the Chinese medicine principles Polyvagal theory and the role of the autonomic nervous system in responding to a perceived threat, which includes Sympathetic nervous system Parasympathetic nervous system (dorsal and ventral vagus nerve) The definition of complex trauma, sympathetic arousal and parasympathetic collapse The zone of resiliency and regulation that all people have and the zone that healthy people operate within The five steps to the self-protective stress response and how any of these steps can be thwarted from completion with experiencing complex trauma The role of epigenetics in creating transgenerational trauma and re-establishing resilience and growth in future generations ResourcesFollow Third Opinion MD on Instagram to receive updates on podcast episodes and more! https://www.instagram.com/thirdopinionmd/ (#thirdopinionmd) https://bookshop.org/a/81739/9781623172220 (The Tao of Trauma: A Practitioner's Guide for Integrating Five Element Theory and Trauma Treatment), by Alaine D. Linear and Circular thinking explained: Western Medicine's philosophical approach is partly influenced by Aristotle's concept of noncontradiction. An example would be how the concepts of A (presence) and non-A (absence) cannot exist at the same time. This differs from the...

Madeline is a Boston-based acupuncturist, herbalist, functional medicine provider, and soon to be certified hypnotist. She uses different healing modalities to treat physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies at the same time. Madeline specializes in internal medicine, specifically digestive, hormonal, and autoimmune disorders. The topic of today's conversation is the Five Element Theory, which comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine and is used by healers and health practitioners, like Madeline, to help their patients overcome energetic imbalances that often manifest as physical and mental symptoms. Hello everyone! In this Mandarin episode, I talk about Genshin Impact (原神), an open-world action game I started playing last weekend at the recommendation of my students. What is the theme of Genshin Impact? And why do I like the game? Let's find out. 克 means defeat or against. 所以水water against 火fire。 Useful words and expressions | 原神 | Yuán shén: (game) Genshin Impact | 社交媒体 | shè jiāo méitǐ: Social media | 广告 | guǎnggào: advertisement | 推荐 | tuījiàn: recommend; recommendation | 制作发行 | zhìzuò fāxíng: produce & publish | 开放世界 | kāifàng shìjiè: open world | 角色冒险 | juésè màoxiǎn: character adventure | 旅行者 | lǚxíng zhě: traveller | 分离 | fēnlí: separate, set apart | 踏上 | tà shàng: set foot on (a journey) | 探险 | tànxiǎn: explore & adventure | 解锁 | jiěsuǒ: unlock | 人物 | rénwù: character, personality | 画质精美 | huà zhì jīngměi: high resolution (lit) picture quality delicate and beautiful | 动作 | dòngzuò: action| 细节处理 | xìjié chǔlǐ: handling of details - (lit) detail handle | 广阔 | guǎngkuò: wide, expansive | 探索 | tànsuǒ: explore | 画面 | huàmiàn picture | 享受 | xiǎngshòu: enjoy | 体验 | tǐyàn: experience | 顺便 | shùnbiàn: on the side, by the way | 打怪(物) | dǎ guài (wù): beat monsters | 原野 | yuányě: field (such as grass-covered plain) | 中世纪 | zhōngshìjì: Middle Ages | 德国 | déguó: Germany | 古(代) | gǔ (dài): ancient | 期待 | qídài: anticipate, look forward to | 元素 | yuánsù: element | 属性 | shǔxìng: characteristic|设定| shè dìng:setting | 借鉴 | jièjiàn: borrow from, build on (an idea, concept) | 五行 | wǔháng: (Chinese culture)Five Element | 打败 | dǎbài: beat, defeat | 湿地 | shīdì: wetland | 攻击 | gōngjí: attack | 冻 | dòng: freeze, frozen | 有效 | yǒuxiào: effective | 精良| jīngliáng: excellent, sophisticated

What a joy of a podcast episode! Susan Tenney of Elemental Acupressure brought her passion and expertise to our time together, sharing about how her journey with horses and acupressure began, how she works with Chinese medicine concepts and horses, some ways to begin using acupressure simply and effectively with your horses. It was a pleasure to learn from her, and I hope you feel the same. She is the co-founder of Elemental Acupressure along with her husband, Jonathan Cohn. For more information about Susan head to www.ElementalAcupressure.com
