CRAIG GOLDBERG is what many would say the world really needs right now: a Relaxation Expert! Craig is also a Certified Vibro-Acoustic Therapy Practitioner on a quest to help humanity achieve a deeper sense of inner calmness through the use of sound and vibration technology. He operates with roots in science and technology, and his work is backed by 40+ years of research showing the many benefits of this type of therapy. He is constantly exploring new ways to use Vibro-Acoustic to help people reduce stress and anxiety, heal, and transform their lives for the better. His journey began 10 years ago when his wife got sick and Modern medicine did not have answers, so he did what any one of us would do: He began searching. His journey has taken him down many roads in search of one thing: How to live a healthy life. Craig and his wife found diet and nutrition to be the gateway to better health. This love for healthy food led to a deep dive, into what he calls his three main environments: 1. What we put in our mouth 2. What we put on our skin 3. What we allow in the air around us Mastering these external environments led him to focusing inward. Craig, like so many others, was familiar with the benefits of meditation, but struggled to get into a meditative state. He made it something of a mission to hack the process to make it more accessible for those who struggled to get there. This led to the power of sound and vibration as a healing tool after experiencing profound effects for himself on a revolutionary Vibro-Acoustic bed called “The Sound Lounge.” Craig instantly knew this was the mindfulness and healing hack he'd been searching for and it sparked yet another deep dive into the human body and how it all works. In November 2016, he partnered with Dominic Carnevale, and inHarmony Interactive was born. Today, Craig is an advocate of the power of sound and vibration to heal and create positive changes in the lives of others.Craig and Dom continue to innovate their industry. inHarmony recently announced their Patent on the inHarmony Meditation Cushion, solidifying their position in the “Tech-Assisted Meditation” movement. Sound and vibration reset the nervous system and send signals to every muscle in the body to relax. Shifting from stressed and anxious to calm-and-relaxed is something we all need. www.iaminharmony.com

One Tuesday morning in Tāmaki Makaurau mid August, Pete, John and I had the chance to sit down at the table at Coco's Sound Lounge and chew the fat with Rosie Finn of Neudorf Vineyards — and she can chat. Rosie almost broke Matt Dicey's record of such adept conversational flow that next to no editing was required. Dreamy! Matt still holds the record but Rosie was hot on his heels with only two short excerpts ending up on the cutting room floor. It was a total treat to chat to this fine wahine who is truly flying the flag for successful succession — quite a thing for the NZ wine industry — all the while being a relatively new Mum herself. Rosie's folks, Judy and Tim Finn (not the musician) started Neudorf in the 1970's. Like almost all of our wine pioneers that meant a mortgage or two and a lot of fast learning. Fast forward to 2023 and their daughter Rosie has stepped into the family biz as her folks step out to enjoy retirement.Rosie knows how to spin a yarn and in this chat she shares one of the best stories I've heard of pairing wine with food. It combines one wine and the cuisine of a Copenhagen based Michelin star restaurant and a night dive in an underwater cave set beneath Takaka Hill in the Kahurangi National Park. During our chat we had the pleasure of indulging in a sneak peak at the soon to be released 2022 Neudorf Rosie's Block Amphora Chardonnay (coming at you 1 October). To say the wine was delicious is an understatement. While we crushed a cup, Rosie chatted away about how a Facebook post from Jude landed her a job with the wonderful wine ambassador Mel Brown at Pop Brixton, London. After what looked like a few years of nothing but fun Rosie reluctantly had to leave, unable to secure a visa extension. She returned home and suffered the common culture shock most of us kiwis feel after a few years of cutting loose in Blighty. She dried her teary eyes and took firm hold of the torch from Judy and Tim as the next generation to drive this incredible family business. This was a chat that flowed from the moment we sat down. Rosie Finn is one delightfully funny woman. So, find yourself a comfy spot, close your eyes and imagine you're parked up somewhere on the beach in the Abel Tasman. The sun is shining that warming hue of Neudorf yellow and there's a delicious glass of Chardonnay in your hand. On a Sunday afternoon on Auckland's aromatic Karangahape Road, we welcomed winemaker, Nick Mills from Rippon to the newly christened Coco's Sound Lounge. In town, for the annual Negociants New Zealand Fine Wine Tour, we were grateful that Nick could squeeze us in for a little not serious chat and a laugh or two. This one is for the winos but it's also for the ski hounds and the musos. I don't use the term Original Gangster that often but in the case of Nick Mills and his family they are nothing short of Central Otago's OGs. This family's contribution to their local village goes back four generations and covers sustainable farming, grape growing, winemaking, a music festival that spanned 20 years and showcased some of our favourite musicians and a counter culture ski movement known as Free Skiing. Much like the vines that grace the schist slopes of the Rippon site, Nick's roots go deep. He's a philosopher both by education and natural curiosity. He's learned and deeply, passionately invested in anything he puts his mind to. Had it not been for a serious wipe out just a few months before the 1998 Nagano Olympics, this well known winemaker could have been a well-known Winter Olympian. He worked through that heartbreak and headed for France where his learnings and love for biodynamic grape growing really took hold. For a not serious chat, we definitely had moments of intense reflection much of which was inspired by the absolutely epic 20 year old Pinot Noir Nick brought along for us to enjoy. Between utterly delicious sips we learned about the parallel lives of a ski racer and a winemaker, we learned how to taste for texture and how, as the current custodians of this remarkable place, this family strives to secure their future on the land. And let's not forget how much these mountain people like to party. So, pull on your one-piece, pop in your ear buds and tighten your bindings. This is the not serious Nick Mills chat. not serious wine chats would like to thank our supporters:TradecraftBy the BottleAntipodes Water Co. PipemanRadio Interviews Craig Goldberg founder of inHarmonyCertified Vibroacoustic Therapy Practitioner and Co-Founder of inHarmony Interactive, Craig Goldberg has created the inHarmony; Music Meditations App, which provides over 225 relaxing music meditations and soundscapes to blissfully relax your mind, body and spirit through tracks which vary in length from two minutes to two hours, to amplify your inHarmony experience!inHarmony Highlights Top Wellness Trends To Promote A Better YOU For 2023inHarmony Co-Founder, Craig Goldberg speaks on 2023 leading wellness trends inclusive of mindful meditation, new tech-forward smartphone apps and holistic therapies. SAN DIEGO, CA., JANUARY 3, 2023: As a chance for new beginnings and a new you, Certified Vibroacoustic Therapy Practitioner and Co-Founder of inHarmony Interactive, Craig Goldberg, explains upcoming wellness trends for 2023 that promote relaxation, improve mental health and optimum wellness. Over the last few years, wellness and health have taken on greater importance and more significant meaning. Now more than ever, people are more committed to making positive decisions to increase better behaviors and with that, Goldberg explains three upcoming trends for 2023: Mindful Meditation, Wellness Apps and Holistic Therapies. “For generations, Buddhist monks have been able to quickly access a deep meditative state by using vibration and sound. We now have the tools and tech to get you there quickly, without 20 years of isolation high in the Himalayas. Meditation turns on the body's parasympathetic nervous system leading to a decrease in heart rate, blood pressure, and muscle tension. It's vital to access a peaceful state of mind to maintain mind, body and spiritual health.” - Craig explains, “In 2023, it's important for individuals to prioritize taking care of their minds to increase overall health.”By kicking off the New Year practicing mindful meditation, virtually anyone can immediately access a state of mind, body and spiritual harmony. Overall, practicing any sort of mindful meditation will lead to lower stress, anxiety & blood pressure, improve sleep, and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties. In 2023, let's use our phones for the greater good. Rather than aimlessly scrolling, there are a multitude of apps that people use to support their health and wellness activities. From meditation apps like Insight Timer and headspace to new entrants like inHarmony; Music Meditations App, which provide over 225 relaxing music meditations and soundscapes to blissfully relax your mind, body and spirit through tracks which vary in length from two minutes to two hours. To amplify your inHarmony experience, pick up an inHarmony Meditation Cushion and download the inHarmony app for tech-assisted meditation using vibroacoustic therapy for relaxation, improved mental health, and optimal human performance.A New Year's meditation to invoke positive change. The New Year can bring up feelings of hope, anticipation, and desire for a new and improved New Year. In order to set yourself up for the best possible year to come, your goal (like most of us) is to increase importance and put more significant meaning into wellness and health. Go into the new year with an inHarmony New Year's Meditation. All of these therapies balance the chakras and enhance inner peace, supporting balance and harmony in our energetic body, the “inHarmony” way.Lastly, practitioners are seeing huge interest in holistic therapies. This includes sound baths, crystal therapy, red and blue light therapy, hot and cold therapy, other energy healing work, frequency therapy, PEMF and infrared. inHarmony's tech-assisted meditation cushions and vibroacoustic therapy balance well with all of it. We're seeing our tech as the cornerstone and main showcase at Wellness Centers all around the world. Testimonial: “Using inHarmony's next-level technology to enhance my meditation practice has been life changing!” says Sean Simon, an inHarmony Vibroacoustic Sound Lounge customer, “After years of unsuccessful meditation practice, the Sound Lounge has given me access to all the benefits I've been looking for in addition to providing a doorway into consciousness expansion I never thought possible. I'm GRATEFUL beyond belief for this tool.”About inHarmonyinHarmony uses a patented system of tech-assisted sound and vibration therapies to quickly and comfortably put the user into a deep meditative state. Mitchell interviews award-winning author, sustainability consultant, attorney and wide-ranging entrepreneur, Carl Frankel. His careers have been connected by a common theme—writing. In the 1980s, he ran a boutique market research company that focused on the commercial implications of new technologies. He then concentrated on business and sustainability for the next two decades. During that time, he published a newsletter on green consumerism, served as North American editor for a magazine on corporate sustainability (and the lack thereof), consulted with non-profits and corporations, and became a nationally-known thought leader. He also launched and ran a community-based social enterprise, Our Community Networks. Since 2009, Frankel's primary focus has been on sex and relationships. He runs the Intimate Arts Center (formerly known as Sheri Winston's Intimate Arts Center), which offers online sex education for adults and publishes books on sex and relationships through its imprint, Mango Garden Press. He conceived the notion of Erotopia, a land where people have a healthy relationship with sex, pleasure and connection, in the early 2000s. He began writing it in 2013 and finished it in 2019. Frankel started playing tennis at seven years old, supported himself as a teaching pro in Europe and the United States during his twenties, and continues to play at a high level, with great love and respect for the game. Frankel is a graduate of Columbia Law School and a member of the New York State bar. He abandoned law in his 20s to become a writer. He lives in Kingston NY with his wife, the sex educator Sheri Winston. If you'd like to see more on an array of subjects like this, join our Newsletter at www.abetterworld.net. This is the first of a few interviews Mitchell did with Bhagavan Das in the NYC studio. Bhagavan Das' story is remarkable and shared with you here. In 1963 at the age of 18, Bhagavan Das left California and journeyed solo through Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East, eventually arriving in India. He was the first American to live in the jungle of the Himalayas as a hermit-sadhu. He was given the holy name of Ram by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He then came to meet Swami Chaitanya Prakashananda Tirth who gave him tapas to pray for God's Grace. In 1965, after a year of fasting, prayer and intense purification, Bhagavan Das met his Sat Guru, the Mahasiddha Neem Karoli Baba (Maharaji) who he lived with side by side for many years. Maharaji sent him to Anandamayi Ma to receive initiation from the Divine Mother. Later, during his time with the Tibetan yogis, he was the first westerner to meet and live with Lama Kalu Rinpoche, the guru of the 16th Karmapa. He gave Bhagavan Das the Mahamudra transmission. Bhagavan Das received the Clear Light of Primordial Awareness from His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche and then the Vajra Yogini transmission directly from the 16th Karmapa in Sikkim. He lived with Yogi Chen who explained all the details to him in English in his hermitage in Kalimpong. When on pilgrimage to the holy Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu, Bhagavan Das met Richard Alpert who became Ram Dass after Bhagavan Das brought him to Maharaji. Then, Bhagavan Das was sent to Amma in the 1980s, who saved him again from the ravages of the world. The Grace of his Sat Guru Maharaji led Bhagavan Das HOME to the Divine Mother in the form of Amulya Maa, his precious Beloved Wife, who is always guiding him on the true path of Bodhichitta with her crystal clarity, ancient wisdom and pure Love.
