— A mathematician at heart, Siu seeks tried and true formulas to live by. Formulas provide assurance that is hard to beat because following them will produce the same result each time. Moreover, math is like life; the more we learn, the more equations we will discover. Siu's Heal From Within© program is predicated on the simple Taoist theory that all living organisms in the universe are energetically connected. Humans, animals and plants are born from the earth and absorb energy from the same sources— sun, water and air—for survival. Living congruently to this trauma, stress). The less resistance in your body, the easier it is to attain your maximum personal healing potential and live in a healthier and more fulfilling way. Learning how to apply this Taoist theory to your life will help you live at your highest frequency under all circumstances. Valeria interviews Siu Ping Negrin — She is the author of  “Stronger Than Your Stress: An Energy Guide to Heal From Within.”  Siu Ping Negrin is a Qigong healer, spiritual coach, licensed acupuncturist and founder of Heal From Within©. She received a Master's in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture with an additional 2-year concentration in Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. For over 20 years, she has helped clients heal using Chinese medicine (acupuncture, herbs, diet and Qigong) along with other natural modalities, foods, supplements and exercises. She specializes in wholistic healing by treating imbalances of the body. As a result of her personal battle with insomnia, she now teaches people how to be in control of their energy and provides healings (in-person and remotely) and acupuncture to help clients heal and find insights to help them live their personal best in health, happiness and fulfillment. Siu uses her unique approach to wholistic health—combining Chinese medicine with scientific knowledge—to address the impact of modern-day stresses and ailments on the body, mind, emotions and spirit. As an avid student, practitioner and consumer of Chinese medicine, Siu hopes that in her lifetime, this important medical system will be recognized and given parity alongside Western medicine in modern-day healthcare. Schedule a Spiritual Upgrade Breakthrough call with me and let's talk about how my programs can help you. In today's episode, I wanted to offer another perspective on working with the elements and how ancient teachings are coming forward in our present lifetime. My guest is Lindsay Fauntleroy.  She's a medicine maker, educator, and author of, " In our Elements:  Soul Medicine to Unleash your Personal Power." In this episode, we talk about the five elements of the Chinese system, the element of Metal for the Fall, prayer boards, shared consciousness, money & honey, flower essences, and ways to support your own healing as well as the collective healing.  Lindsay Fauntleroy was drawn to the healing arts after her own journey to fertility introduced her to the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. Her extensive training includes a Master of Arts from New York University,  a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto style Japanese acupuncture, and myofascial Trigger Point release.   Lindsay firmly believes that the power to heal should rest in the hands and hearts of all communities.  Her approach to soul medicine emerges from over 15 years of clinical practice, her Ph.D studies of Indigenous and African Diasporic psychology, and her commitment to community wellness.  She provides practitioner certification in the sacred art and science of flower essence therapy, which she offers in loving partnership with the Flower Essence Society and the MINKA Mystery School.  Lindsay's line of alchemical Five Element flower essence remedies, the Elementals, are available nationally and internationally. https://www.thespiritseed.org/ https://www.instagram.com/lindsayfaunt/ What kind of body and what kind of soul am I? We can do everything on the surface and think we have everything. But if there's something within us that is out of alignment, even if you reach the goal, the fertility, the job, the, whatever it is,  that if you're not in alignment, it really doesn't matter. These two things work together. Sometimes the material world is just an inspiration to do the inner work.  Get into that soul energy and really check in and find out what is it. Go deep. Definitely sit still.  Be quiet. Listen. Sometimes it's enduring the heartache or the pain or the discomfort while we're waiting for something to show itself. Four Sacred Elements - Air, Fire, Earth, Water. Whereas the Chinese acupuncture system works in the five elements. The Autumn Equinox brings us into the Metal element, which is essentially the fifth element of the five-element system that begins with Water... to Wood, to Fire, to Earth to  Metal.  Late summer is considered the earth element. The earth element is also the transition between each season.  Every season goes back to the earth to replenish before becoming the next season.  The prayer board is leaving space for the unknown... this or something better. Flower essences we use to help us access the consciousness or the intentions of each of these elements of nature. One of the soul lessons for the Metal element is being present, being in the present moment, and being in the now. Essential oils are more for the etheric or the emotional body, because they are so effective at moving Chi.  Flower essences are taken internally as supplements. So you either put them in your water or put them in drops under your tongue and you ingest them. Instead of working more on the emotional body, they work more on our thoughts and perceptions. Flower essences shift us to a  perspective that is more in alignment with our highest good and our highest intention. They're super subtle. Lindsay's hope is that people will use this book as a springboard.  That they'll be introduced to some things that work, and discover other things that work just as well, if not better. We are all on this collective path of transformation together. This book is for a tribe of folks that she calls Neo-Ancients. There are a lot of us who are out there that are calling on older ancient technologies, spiritual traditions, healing, traditions, complementary and alternative medicine. What can we learn from our ancestors? What can we learn from the people who were most connected with the earth? Looking backward to look forward. As Lindsay reminds us, "Soul Medicine helps us to make space for Spirit that is always trying to communicate with us. It allows us to make space for that to come in and drive and direct us." Yes...Make space for what is unknown to bring it in, into a spirit-driven community. Check out Lindsay's work, and her flower essences and get her book. Today's special guest, Lorie Eve Dechar, Is here to talk about the book she co-authored with her husband Benjamin Fox, The Alchemy of Inner Work: A Guide for Turning Illness and Suffering Into True Health and Well-Being. Drawing on traditional Chinese medicine, Eastern and Western alchemical traditions, Kabbalah, and Jungian psychology—plus case studies from working with pa-tients—the authors provide hands-on insights for bringing “the soul of medicine” back into our lives. Alchemical Healing is based on the belief that there is a vital force that directs you toward your own growth and fulfillment. This force is an in-nate driving high-grade energy as potent as the physical instincts of survival and reproduction. When this vital force is blocked, ignored, or re-pressed, illness arises. The goal is not to get you “back to your old self again” but rather for you to discover what you need to change in order to achieve optimal health and a richer, more meaningful life. Alchemical Healing offers a way to touch the subtle body or soul, to help resolve nonphysical forms of human distress, psychic and spiritual imbalances, and longings that are often unresponsive to more conventional techniques. When I first met Lisa Levine, it was during my HT4 training at Maha Rose. I said hello, and though our interaction was just minutes, I noticed that she had the brightest eyes and smile. I met her again, just a few days later, while interviewing Breathwork Healer, David Elliott, at Maha Rose North. She kindly invited my son and I to take a walk around the property and check out the dome. So today, on our third meeting, I was excited to finally sit down and talk with her. She is wonderful... a lit up burst of sunshine. It makes perfect sense that she leads The Joy Vibration, amongst other beautiful practices. I loved chatting and laughing with her. Listen in to hear all the interesting things we spoke about, including how she got started on her incredible path. Here's a bit more info about Lisa, from the Maha Rose page: Lisa Levine MS LAc is a licensed acupuncturist, Reiki master, a natural healer and an artist as well as the founder of Maha Rose. The tools she uses are needles and moxa, touch, shiatsu, Reiki, guided visualization, the breath, laughter, and on very full moons - a song. She wants you to remember who you really are; letting go of everything that isn't serving you and connecting with your more radiant Self. She specializes in mental and emotional disorders as well as trauma and major life changes. She is available for acupuncture, reiki, bodywork and breathwork and group breathwork and laughter sessions. She also offers spiritual business coaching and consulting. Lisa completed her Reiki Masters with Padma Gonzalez in 2008, her Breathwork Healer Training certificate from David Elliott in 2009 and graduated from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in 2013. In episode #9 of the Princeton Spine & Joint Center Podcast, Dr. Zinovy Meyler, Co-Director of the Interventional Spine Program spoke with Dr. Andrew Appello, practicing clinical herbalist, acupuncturist, and registered nurse of Healthy Living Acupuncture and that's just scratching the surface. They had a great conversation about a number of topics. Andrew has a background in Ayurvedic medicine, he has an extensive background in martial arts which he ties into the practice of acupuncture and herbal medicine. They talked about the history and application of acupuncture - what one can expect if one was to go for the acupuncture treatments including the sessions, including what to expect in terms of treatment durations, outcomes, what the scientific background for accupuncture is. Anyone who's interested in acupuncture, for that matter, if acupuncture can be helpful for them, for their pain, for their anxiety, for stress, would be very interested in hearing Andrew speak because he brings a lot of different aspects of his background to the conversation and enlightens us about acupuncture and its applications. Andrew Appello MSOM, L.Ac., RH(AHG), RN is a practicing clinical herbalist, acupuncturist, and registered nurse whose commitment to natural therapies and traditional Asian healing modalities began in his youth with his pursuit of the martial arts. He pursued formal training of these therapies at highly regarded American schools, and apprenticed with leaders in the fields of acupuncture and herbal therapeutics. He received a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine, covering both internal and external medicine, from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in Manhattan. Here, he studied three styles of acupuncture: Japanese Acupuncture under Kilko Matsamoto Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Western Acupuncture, including bio-medical acupuncture and trigger point therapy and two forms of herbal healing: Kanpo Japanese Herbal Therapy Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Dr. Zinovy Meyler is a board certified, fellowship trained physician specializing in the non-operative care of spine, joint, muscle and nerve pain. Inspired to learn more about these therapeutic modalities, she attended and graduated from the Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy in 2012.  She is currently attending the Tri-State College of Acupuncture for my Masters in Oriental Medicine on her journey to help athletes of all levels recover from injuries and prevent future ones.  Paolo's been going through training lately from weights, gymnastic strength, and dance while Ricky's made the gym his second home so we wanted to get folks from the fitness and health side of things into the show this year. This is definitely an episode where you’ll hear about how food literally fuels the body and a professional athlete’s take on it.  We talk a little bit about Isang’s work, common misconceptions about health…especially around recovery, her approach to nutrition, questions you should ask before you build your nutrition plan, and how she uses sports as a way not just to empower herself but also build communities around her.   It’s important to note that while we focus on some tactics (many quite simple and far less overwhelming than the internet makes it seem), there are some big takeaways in what Isang has to say about the mindset and approach one takes.  Also featured on the show is Lee Scantalides, also an accomplished athlete and trainer, who managed to pop in for a question or two.

Beyond the healing, we can communicate with the rivers, mountains, trees and rocks that surround us, allowing each of us to develop an authentic spiritual relationship with the living body of the Earth.
