Hi TF-Fans! Welcome to a new episode of Transformerspodden! The Swedish podcast on Transformers! Todays episode will be in english because today we have a guest! We have the honour to have John-Paul Bove with us! John-Paul Bove is a British comic artist. His non-Transformers work has included G.I. Joe and Doctor Who for IDW Publishing and Wrath Of The Titans for Bluewater Productions. He was originally inspired to tell his own stories by the Marvel UK Transformers comic and has written and colored many stories for the Transformers: Mosaic project including the 22 page story "War Journal". His first script job on our favourite franchise was the Beast Wars BotCon 2016 story "Dawn of the Predacus" but he had previously pitched a version of Spotlight: Metroplex & Wreck Gar. On Transformers: The Definitive G1 Collection, Bove was tasked to colour the black-and-white UK strips of 1989-90. So the strips would flow better with the other reprints, he coloured the strips that followed on from US strips in a pastiche of the 64-colour 'dots' used in the Silver Age and 1980s; for UK-tied strips, he used the same more diverse colour palette and shades as the last colour stories. Great writer, great artist, Amazing guy!

The film is a continuation/soft reboot for the franchise that some of us feel didn't get the attention it deserved. What are some similarities between Greek Gods and greasy capitalists? For one, nobody asked for them, they just kind of happened. They constantly do idiotic things just to screw with the common people. Both think they are high and mighty and cannot be touched . . .and both inevitably feel the sting of their own hubris as their world falls apart. Except that doesn't always happen to the greasy capitalists. We should really do something about that.

We are back! Doing what we do best, MOVIE TALK! Comparing and critiquing 2 very different movies with similar themes. The treatment of other species and what humanity could potentially do if we went to another planet that wasn't our and treated it like it was, with Avatar, and how we might treat another species if they came to us and needed help, with District 9. Deeper meanings can be felt in these movies if you look beneath surface and compare it to what is currently going on in our world today with protests. Get some popcorn and sit back and have fun with us while we discuss the good, bad, and ugly about these movies.
Todd chats with Basil Iwanyk (John Wick / The Town / Sicario producer) about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected production of his upcoming films and what to expect from creators and consumers in the aftermath.

Release the kracken! It's time for Wrath of the Titans Part 2 where we break down the first film, Clash of the Titans. This is a very loose retelling of the story of the ancient Greek hero Perseus as he fights a war against the gods. Don't listen to this one for too long or you'll turn into stone. So ease your storm as we break down what we got right, what we got wrong, and what we never could have predicted in Clash of the Titans.
Brush off your copy of the Odyssey because today we are studying Greek Mythology reimagined as a Liam Neeson action movie. Ellie tries to explain to Patrick that Loki is not a Greek God as they break down the procreation possibilities of giant lava monsters, how the film makers made such a sweet looking Pegasus, and which characters will turn into cows. Work out all your God daddy issues with Wrath of the Titans as we try to figure out what the original movie, Clash of the Titans, was all about.

In which Thom & Andru purge their cinematic binge from the celebration of Andru’s birthday, dropping major spoilers for Lockout, 21 Jump Street, The Hunger Games, Wrath Of The Titans, American Reunion, and Rubber ...but staying 99% spoiler-free for Cabin In The Woods, which is discussed generally, but won’t be thoroughly dissected - so to speak - until a later date. This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is another packed affair. The main review of the week is Wrath of the Titans and Aaron and Abe are joined by Laremy Legal to better discuss the epic-ish Greek action sequel. We also have the other segments. First up, there are plenty of announcements, including the winners of the contest, which was setup last week. The winner even provided us a question that is answered on the show. We then have “Know Everybody”, trailer talk (Total Recall and The Raven), box office results, “Instead or Because of”, games, and plenty of other fun. Lots to get done, but at least we recorded while riding on a winged Pegasus.
Are You Screening? hosts Marc Eastman and Shane Leonard give their instant reaction to Wrath of the Titans. It's the usual (ok, this is the second episode) mix of random thoughts and intense film deconstruction. This one promises a bit more spark, as Shane liked it better than the first film (whatever that may turn out to mean), and Marc was less than positive in a wide variety of ways.
In this episode, Scott goes AWOL, we discuss The Hunger Games and Wrath of the Titans, talk about trailers and 3D and hammer a fat douche. Plus, Would You Rather? and the first silent radio drama.

In which Thom & Andru are paid a visit by their dark, whimsical overlord Johnny Dam (henceforth known as Johnny Darko) who flashes his bona fides with references ranging from Thunderbirds Game of Thrones, then blazes discursive trails into politics, infotainment, and the need for Dish Network to stop ratting out spoiler addicts to their spouses, all while painting the show’s language a lovely shade of indigo. Plus, memories of Kurt Cobain, and a review of Wrath Of The Titans.
If anyone has watched Wrath of the Titans already, did anyone else catch the couple Star Wars lines that they stole? It was pretty obvious, especially the one between Hades and Zeus. I really wish I was more inventive so that I coule throw some sort of April Fools Day joke in the description but alas I'm not that creative or at least creative enough to try. I think the word for that is lazy but we'll have to ask the scientists on that one. So for this weeks episode I cover the news, except for anything covering today since I have to just wait any of the information out until tomorrow or beyond. The Trailer Spot this week is American Reunion, I believe it's an old trailer but nonetheless funny. I would've covered the Box Office Report but the information wasn't out yet so I just covered the top 3 movies for this weekend. And for reviews it's Wrath of the Titans, and The Rum Diary...it stars Johnny Depp! Well that's pretty much it for the episode I hope you enjoy it! Opening and Closing Song- Major Tom by Peter Schilling
The fifth episode of The Empire Podcast sees Chris Hewitt, Nick de Semlyen, Helen O'Hara and pod debutant, Dan Jolin, discuss the big news of the week, including Anchorman 2 and The Jameson Empire Awards, and review Wrath Of The Titans and StreetDance 2 3D.
