Molemo is a young African Entrepreneur from South Africa. A country well known for giving birth to a Hero we all respect and love: Nelson Mandela. Following his studies in Business Management and Social Sciences at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar/ capital city of Senegal, Issa Kouyate founded the Non-Profit Organization called "Maison De La Gare" and he is currently the president. His organization help rescue children from the streets of Senegal precisely Saint-Louis, one of the cities in Senegal. Issa Kouyate is a Senegalese born and has spent his whole life in Senegal. In this episode, he explains how, in a time of despair, he gives hope to these abandon children. We spoke about his organization that he founded since 2007.He explained how some people disguise themselves as marabout teachers just to enrich themselves by sending children in the street of Senegal to beg for food and money. Marabout teacher means Muslim religious leader and teacher and also means Koranic Teacher in Senegal. In Senegal at least 50,000 children are subjected to conditions akin slavery and forced to endure often extreme forms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation by their Teachers. That is according to Human Rights Watch. Issa Kouyate’s organization is one of the very few organizations in Senegal that is helping to improve the lives of theses abandon children otherwise called Talibe Street children by getting them off the street and providing them with a place to sleep, eat, and be treated. I respect Issa Kouyate, he is a person who is a true leader and a great human being. As I spoke him, I could sense that his mindset about helping these children is undeterred.
