Episode Fifty-One is here, and sadly, you know what that means...it's the last film review episode of Completely Unqualified with Lindsey Mead and Randi DeShone. We are going to miss talking about movies with you all every Wednesday. It's so bittersweet to be releasing this to our friends, family, and fans today, but we are SO grateful to EVERYONE that has tuned in to this makeshift podcast over the course of the year. We appreciate you, we love you, and we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. So, for the Completely UNQ film review finale and last movie in the Harry Potter saga, we discussed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011) on Episode Fifty-One. The episode title, as always, will make sense once you listen! Plenty of our usual laughs, fun facts, and HP simping happens throughout our final show. Next week, our *final* final episode will be published, marking a year (one day early) of Completely Unqualified, as well as its official conclusion. If you're a sponsor, please be sure to cancel your sponsorship so we don't keep charging you as our episodes remain available on streaming services, but without us putting out any new content. On Episode Fifty-Two we discuss necessary podcast-related and life-related updates, give our thanks, and conclude our comedic film review podcast in typical Randi and Lindsey fashion. We made it to Episode Fifty! Thank you to all of our wonderful listeners who got to this point with us!! And, we are lucky enough this week to be joined by one of Lindsey's best friends, Bridget Dickens. Randi had a busy week, so lifelong HP fan and dear law school pal, "Bag," joins Completely UNQ to discuss Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010). Lindsey and Bridget talk about angsty Ron, Bridget's fear of "those little piggy people" (AKA the Dursleys), and the unfortunateness of being a third wheel. We apologize for the microphone feedback and bumping if you hear it on this episode - due to the last-minute fill-in for Randi, we had to make do with one mic! We hope you enjoy!! Next week, it's our last Completely Unqualified movie review episode. We're finishing out the review-section of the podcast and the Harry Potter saga with the final installment in the series: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011). Hey everyone! Only two more movie-review episodes left of Completely Unqualified after this one - crazy to think about. This Wednesday, we watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009). The Completely UNQ gals talk about Randi's social work analysis of Draco, their favorite Harry Potter insults, and their favorite spells in the HP series on this quick episode. Per usual, there was too much we had to do and too little time to really dive into this episode. As a summary, just know Lindsey continues to mourn the loss of Dumbledore and Randi thinks he's a terrible character. Sigh. Next week, keeping up with the HP saga, we're watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010). Get your tissues ready, there's only more death and sadness to come!! We are so grateful you all have stuck with us for almost a whole year now - 49 episodes full. WE ARE BACK! Completely Unqualified has never had to take a week off, but last week, as you all know due to the lack of an episode (and on Completely UNQ's social media (@completelyUNQ on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), Lindsey messed up the editing process by deleting our original Part Two of Episode Forty-Six. Today, you get half of our original episode and half of a week-delayed recorded version of Episode Forty-Six! So, so sorry, but we hope you laugh and enjoy anyway. We covered Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) on "When You Give a Dementor a Zoloft." We also announced that Completely UNQ will be coming to an end here shortly. Though it is extremely unfortunate and Randi & Lindsey will miss this pod so much, their adult lives are rushing at them top-speed (as well as school and work and the attempt to maintain a social life), so this is truly for the best. Don't worry, though, we are finishing HP! This episode in particular was packed full of craziness, wild tangents, and updates for our podcast, so you won't want to miss it! We apologize for the redundancy due to the week gap!! Next week, keeping with our Harry Potter theme, we are watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). Per Randi's bestie's recommendation (thanks, Taylor), we watched Scarface (1983) for this fine, monumental episode. In "Runner and Track Star, Tony Montana," Lindsey and Randi implore you to not snort powdered milk and request you rate this iconic film higher than a 65 out of 100 if you want to stay friends with them. For Episode Thirty-One next week, Randi and Lindsey had the incredible opportunity to interview Sam Humphrey from The Greatest Showman (2017), who played Charles Stratton/Tom Thumb in this classic movie-musical. We hope to see you back with us next week as we cover another Disney classic recommended by Steven - Holes (2003). Check it out on Disney+ before next Wednesday and make sure to write in your own movie recommendation now that a new year is upon us to our Gmail - completelyunqualifiedpc@gmail.com. Hello, Completely Unqualified fans and friends!! Randi and Lindsey are bringing you their shortest episode yet so you don't have to burden yourself with listening to our voices for too long before the end-of-the-year holidays (if you celebrate). Our eighth episode is about a Hanukkah-themed Disney Channel Original Movie - Full-Court Miracle (2003). It's currently available on Disney Plus, if you haven't watched it already, and may be...worth your time? Lindsey and Randi are in rare form - or maybe not so rare considering this podcast is called Completely Unqualified - on this episode: Randi barks and Lindsey is the queen of tangents. Nonetheless, we hope this short episode will make you laugh and lift your holiday spirits. Happy Holidays to all who celebrate. We're so grateful for your support!! Follow Completely Unqualified on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook @completelyUNQ and consider sponsoring our show through the Anchor sponsorship link attached in the episode notes. Write us a review on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser (as a Christmas gift to us), send in your own movie recommendation to completelyunqualifiedpc@gmail.com, and get ready for next Wednesday. Randi and Lindsey will present their very first interview episode on the movie The Sandlot (1993). You won't want to miss it. And we are...completely unqualified. P.S. Shout-out to our audio-editing app (Wondershare Filmora9) for the random electric guitar excerpts (from Golet's "Slaves"). --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/completelyunq/support

It's Wednesday, my dudes, and we're back with another episode of Completely Unqualified! Today, we're reviewing the movie-musical La La Land (2016), recommended by Lindsey's good friend, Paige. This heartbreaking romance is one that had both Randi and Lindsey crying in their respective clubs. Listen to Episode Seven now to hear Lindsey say "love isn't real" and "quote-on-quote" at least 100 times each and Randi claim that she has never failed in her life. We're sorry if you happen to hear some background construction noises or loud car engines in today's episode - unfortunately, Lindsey and Randi tried recording at normal-human hours (like noon) instead of in the middle of the night, resulting in typical city sounds for your enjoyment.  Write in your own movie recommendation to Completely Unqualified's email if you'd like Randi and Lindsey to review a film of your choice one day: completelyunqualifiedpc@gmail.com. For next week, we picked Mike's film recommendation - Full-Court Miracle (2003) - in the spirit of the holiday season. Welcome back to Completely Unqualified, everybody!! Today, Lindsey and Randi are talking about the "Cult Classic" film that has held the title (perhaps, self-proclaimed) of one of the top ten sports movies ever: Slap Shot (1977). This movie was recommended by Lindsey's dad, Bill, and is one of his all-time favorite comedies. Listen to Randi and Lindsey discuss the expected - the problems with this film in 2020, the 70s, and hockey - and the unexpected - toupee songs, vending machine deaths, the movie that holds the record for most F-bombs dropped, and so on. You get a little bit of everything for Episode Six today. What else do you expect from a show called Completely Unqualified? Join us next week as we watch La La Land (2016), a musical romance starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. This is a movie Lindsey swore to never watch again to avoid heartbreak and Randi has never seen, so you know discussion is about to be good. We appreciate you all so much for tuning in with us each week and giving new (or old) movies a try. Randi and Lindsey are back for their second episode of Completely Unqualified, and this time, they are talking about the Mötley Crüe biopic - The Dirt (2019)!! The Dirt is a Netflix original film, detailing the "rude debauchery" (as Rotten Tomatoes put it) and origin story of one of America's favorite rock bands. Listen to Randi rave about Machine Gun Kelly - per usual - and Lindsey give some fun facts about the soil. Though this movie may not have been one of the *professional* critics' favorites, and certainly not an Oscar-winning film, Lindsey and Randi bring some content to the virtual table to talk about this chaotic biopic!!
