Episode Summary Hosts Aditi Bhatia, Regional Sales Manager, Corporate Solutions Nicholas Gandolfo, Director, Corporate Solutions Nishant Bhagchandani, Sales Manager, Corporate Solutions Vanessa Tang, Sales Associate, Corporate Solutions In this special episode, we focus our lens on sustainable and transition finance opportunities within the metals, mining and commodities sector, amid growing interest from companies and investors. The sector is incredibly important because of its crucial role in the global transition to a low-carbon economy. The demand for minerals used in clean energy technologies is expected to increase four-fold by 2040 to meet climate goals.1 However, mining is also resource intensive, contributing to between four and seven percent of global greenhouse gas emissions,2 and affecting water resources. The various social challenges the sector faces greatly impact local communities, even after mines are closed. As with other harder-to-abate sectors, maintaining access to capital amid a long list of environmental, social and governance risks can be a challenge. Listen to our panelists discuss key considerations for banks, issuers and investors interested in using sustainable finance instruments to help fund improvements across the metals and mining sector and mitigate potential environmental, social and regulatory risks. They share insights on the trends they're seeing in the market, the conversations they're having with issuers and banks, and what's next in sustainable finance for the metals and mining sector. Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means. I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28. It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations. They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different. ☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- #realtalk #face #instagram #SDF #SYNDICAT #DESPUTES #amour #take #couple #dance #dancers #vogue #voguedqnce #garden #tiktok #psychology #beyou #near #love #foryou #money #ForYouPizza #fyp #irobot #theend #pups #TikToker #couplegoals #famille #relation #doudou #youtube #twitter #tiktokers #love #reeĺs #shorts #instagood #follow #like #ouy #oyu #babyshark #lilnasx #girl #happybirthday #movie #nbayoungboy #deviance #autotrader #trading #khan #academy #carter #carguru #ancestry #accords #abc #news #bts #cbs #huru #bluebook #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketing

As a special Wednesday treat for an unusually short episode here on Completely Unqualified, we kept a lot of bloopers in for you. On Episode Twenty-Seven, Randi and Lindsey are speaking Simlish, proclaiming that love is dead, and begging you to not simp for men in khaki cargos. We watched The Last Five Years (2014) for today's episode and hated (nearly) every minute of it so we "chose our own adventure" and came up with a different ending for this romantic flop of a film. Nonetheless, this made for a super fun episode - thanks for the recommendation, Giang!! Lindsey loves you (and implores you not to watch this movie). Next week, we're watching a movie that defined our generation - Hot Rod (2007). Thanks for the rec, Kevin from Tinder!! GP catches up with model, actress, entrepreneur, and activist Cara Delevingne. They start with Delevingne’s experience working in a high-pressure industry at young age and how she learned to break free from other people’s expectations. “You're put in a box or told to be a certain way,” Delevingne says. “And I hated it because it wasn’t a shape that I fit into.” They talk about how Delevingne approaches imposter syndrome, being a role model in the LGBTQIA community, and her hopes for anyone following in her footsteps. She also gives a preview of the five-day workout series she’s kicking off on goop’s YouTube channel and the scoop on Lora DiCarlo, the sex-tech brand she co-owns and is shaping as creative advisor. In a week when everything has been pretty terrible, Emmet makes the case for Valérian and Logan Lucky being two films about hope. While Luc Besson's spiritual sequel (or response to) The Fifth Element has attracted criticism, is this is misreading of the film's naive sincerity? Dane De Haan plays Valérian as a young man who has read Romantic Heroes for Dummies, partnered with the far more competent Agent Laureline (Cara Delevingne). They chase McGuffins, uncover a conspiracy to destroy the peace enjoyed by humanity's space-faring utopian future - and all the while try to discover the meaning of love. It's a film that lives or dies on its appeal to the audience's sense of sentiment. Also, it's very pretty. Logan Lucky is a far more recognizable world of working class Americans ground down beneath corporate greed. Our unlikely Robin Hood is Channing Tatum, whose Jimmy Logan conspires with brother Clyde (Adam Driver) and Mellie (Riley Keough) to rob Nascar. All they need is an explosives expert - enter Daniel Craig's wonderful creation Jimmy Bang. This is another film with heart and soul, skillfully made by Soderbergh while not eschewing emotion. Strongly recommended.
We review Mistress America, Trainwreck, Paper Towns, Hard to be a God and The Man from UNCLE. And then we delve into the upcoming month of September and discuss Ricki and the Flash, Legend, Irrational Man and Life.

Michael Covel opens up his first monologue of 2015 with a quote from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. There you have it: Willy Wonka completely outlining behavioral economics and proper investing all in a film about candy. Next, Covel quotes John Hussman’s recent piece regarding cognitive dissonance. Today, Covel has three examples of cognitive dissonance. First, Covel speaks of a recent case where a high school student was said to have made 72 million dollars. Of course, the story was false, but Covel explores. Many want to believe that these savants exist, but we all know the truth. Next, Covel discusses Hugh Hendry and why he now believes as an investor you have to sometimes believe in things that don’t necessarily exist. Good strategy doesn’t need to change based on the political winds blowing across the world. Next, Covel gives an example from a CNBC writer named Lawrence Delevingne who wrote recently on “hedge fund robots” doing well in 2014. Covel discusses these “robots” vs. “gut-driven human managers” and picks it apart. Why did trend following have such an excellent year in 2014? Covel explores and notes that trend following isn’t concerned with the previous year--it’s concerned with right now. Want a free trend following DVD? Go to trendfollowing.com/win.
