I've had more than my fair share of people reach out to me and tell me that they do not listen to my podcast episodes because they are too long. An hour is too much to ask from people. Heck, half an hour is too much to ask from a good handful of people. What you need to understand is that if people aren't listening to your show when it's an hour long, they aren't going to listen to it when it is 20 minutes long. They are either listeners or they are not. That's not to say that you should not spend any time strategizing the length of your episodes. Different lengths work for different strategies, and you should put some thought into it. But don't let any small portion of your feedback dictate your entire show. Do what feels right. ----------https://medium.com/@justinrp56

Business Owners. Influencers. Content Creators. High Performers. Nerds. Welcome... to Operation JRP. This is the show where you are going to learn real world lessons about how to make content, for yourself and for others, and how to turn your life into something that you really truly enjoy. My name is Justin Phillips, I've created a ton of podcasts, and now I help others do the same. Mainly business owners and brands, because they are the ones that have what it takes to run a great show. I hope you join me on this journey to really figuring out how to make the most out of our content, and I hope we can get to know each other very well. At Operation JRP, we believe in working for today what will create a better tomorrow. So I hope we all can do that.
