Y'all- how are we already wrapping up Season 6? This community means the world to us, and we're so grateful for every conversation, every message, and every moment we've shared this season. For our finale, we're talking about something that affects every single one of us—the power of our words, especially the ones we speak to ourselves. We can be our own worst critics, holding ourselves to impossible standards and replaying lies that we'd never say to a friend. But here's the truth: the words we repeat in our minds either build us up or tear us down. What if we spoke to ourselves with the same kindness we pour into the people we love? It's time for us to see ourselves the way God sees us. You are loved. You are worthy. You are enough, right now, exactly as you are.So grab your coffee and let's chat. Because, friend, you are so loved, and it's time to start speaking to yourself like it.Don't forget to save the date for Refined, happening April 25th, 2025! Hey friends, welcome back to Purpose Beyond Motherhood! We're so glad you're here for an honest conversation about grief, lament, and how God meets us in our hardest moments.Today, we sit down with our friend, Clayr Simnacher, who shares her journey through loss, sorrow, and the practice of lament. Clayr, a counseling psychology professor, opens up about compound grief and navigating uncertainty. Even as a counselor, she has found herself at times asking the same raw question so many of us have: God, do you see me?Clayr walks us through the biblical practice of lament—how it allows us to bring our deepest pain before God, trusting that He is near even when we don't see the end of the story. She reminds us that grief isn't weakness or punishment, but an invitation to draw closer to Him.One quick note: Clayr references Psalm 13 but actually quotes from Psalm 22— This moment is a powerful reminder that even when we feel abandoned, we can bring our raw emotions before God—just as David did.We pray this episode meets you where you are. If you're walking through grief, infertility, or loss, know this—you are not alone, and your pain is not unseen.Episode Highlights: The pit of grief. Whatever you are facing, whatever part of this journey of infertility or loss you are on, God sees you. He loves you, and He not only walks you through the valley to the mountaintop, but He sits with you in the depths of your despair as He strengthens you. His power is made perfect in our weakness. [2 Corinthians 12:9]After serving in ministry for 13 years at Gateway Church in Southlake, TX, Preston, his wife Holly, and their three kids were sent out to Scottsdale, AZ to plant a church and fulfill the dream God put in his heart nearly two decades earlier. Preston has a gift of communicating truth in a transformative way that awakens people's hearts to the insatiable, overwhelming, undeserving love of the Father. Today, he joins us to discuss the heart of God towards His daughters. It's no secret that within the church community, even those with the best intentions can inadvertently inflict wounds during our trials of infertility and loss. Their words, often unintentionally, carve into the tender places of our souls, leaving behind burdens of shame we were never meant to bear.Today, as Preston speaks, let his words become a beacon of hope, piercing through the darkness of any shame you've carried. May the boundless love of God saturate this message, breaking down every barrier and healing every hurt within your heart.Know this: You are not walking this journey alone. In the midst of your pain, God sees you. We see you. And fiercely, unconditionally, you are loved.Episode Highlights: Intro to Preston Morrison. The God of the valleys. You are seen.Preston shares about his wife's ectopic pregnancy. The discussion of infertility in the church.Satan's plan of attack. The desire God places on our hearts.Trusting His timing. The heart of God for His Daughters.Links Mentioned in Episode/Find More on Purpose Beyond Motherhood and :Twelve 12 Ministries WebsiteIG Handle: @twelve12ministriesFacebook: @twelve12ministriesEmail: info@twelve12ministries.org Visit the Twelve 12 Ministries ShopVisit Pillar Church Scottsdale's WebsiteListen to The Leader's Cut PodcastThis show has been produced by Adkins Media Co.

Today, we invite you to meet Vanessa Grant. Vanessa is a wife and mother of two. For the first time publicly, she shares her story with us of faith and hope amidst the pain of loss.At Vanessa's 10 week appointment in her second pregnancy, the ultrasound revealed that she was carrying twins. As the doctor assessed the ultrasound, Vanessa could sense that something was off. Her doctor informed her that she was carrying monoamniotic twins, meaning they were identical, and sharing the same amniotic sac & placenta. Monoamniotic Twins, or MoMo Twins, are extremely rare, making up less than 1% of all births in the United States. This meant that Vanessa and her babies would need to be monitored closely. It became difficult to find a doctor that was comfortable treating her due to the rarity of this condition. This was only the beginning of what would be a long and rocky road. Over the next 8 weeks, Vanessa and her husband would face challenging decisions that no parents should ever face. At 18 weeks, she received the devastating news that she had lost both of her babies and would have to deliver them. Throughout her journey, Vanessa remained steadfast in her faith and leaned on God for strength. She shares with us today how she found hope in the most difficult time of her life. Vanessa's story is powerful and inspiring, and we are honored to share it with you today.Episode Highlights: Meet Vanessa. The ultrasound that changed everything.Seeing a fetal specialist.Seeking treatment. In her speech, Holly touches on inviting the Lord in your pain, trusting His timing, advocating for yourself with your doctors, and maintaining healthy relationships as you walk this road. Welcome back to the Purpose Beyond Motherhood podcast. Today on the show, we are so excited to have Dr. Katrina Gallagher with us. Dr. Katrina has an incredible testimony about how God has the final word. As a teen, young Katrina was not having regular menstrual cycles. Her doctor put her on supplemental hormones to chemically induce her period at 19. As time went on, she began chiropractic school and learned about the disruption those supplemental hormones cause to natural hormone production. 6 years into taking hormones, she made the decision to stop. 3 years went on, and she was still not having a natural cycle. At this time, Dr. Katrina immersed herself in church and started seeking the Lord in a deeper, more intentional way. She began to notice that many of her chiropractic patients were seeing breakthroughs in their fertility journey.Dr. Katrina's husband, Corey is also a chiropractor, so she decided to start getting adjusted on a regular basis, along with eating a clean diet of foods that supported hormone production. In seeking the Lord, she began hearing ‘by His stripes I am healed'. She knew that God was working on her body, and hope was being planted in her heart.Listen today to hear Dr. Katrina's story of how that hope grew and what seemed impossible in the natural became reality through God's grace. Dr. Katrina now owns a chiropractic & nutrition center for women and children, and is helping thousands experience extraordinary lives.Episode Highlights: Dr. Katrina's backgroundChemically induced cycleLearning in Chiropractic SchoolSeeking the Lord and getting hopeReceiving a miracleTriada Chiropractic was bornLinks Mentioned in Episode/Find More on Purpose Beyond Motherhood and Dr. Katrina:Twelve 12 Ministries WebsiteIG Handle: @twelve12ministriesFacebook: @twelve12ministriesEmail: info@twelve12ministries.org Find extra resources in our Patreon Group!Triada Chiropractic WebsiteTriada Chiropractic FacebookTriada Chiropractic InstagramTriada Chiropractic on TikTokGod's Plan for Pregnancy by Nerida WalkerSupernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize

The enemy has a target, and his target is the Kingdom of God. Our identity in Christ is under attack, and we are losing sight of God's design for men and women. He designed men to be hunters, warriors, & kings and women to be collectors, connectors, & queens. The enemy is constantly at work to emasculate men. He wants to blur the line between male & female and eradicate the roles God has created. In today's episode, we are chatting with Holly's mom, Cristie Penn about God's goodness and His design for us as the Kingdom of God. Cristie is a powerhouse for Jesus. She is the author of Keys of Truth: Unlocking God's Design for the Sexes.
