John Tanago, a lawyer from Chicago, moved with his family to the Philippines seven years ago, to work for an NGO fighting the online exploitation of children (cyber-sex trafficking). John is now IJM's (International Justice Mission) Director of the Centre to End the Online Sexual Exploitation of Children. The sharp and sudden decrease in demand is likely to create a surplus of crop, which leads to a fall in market price, making it even harder for farmers around the world to receive fair pay for their harvest. Such circumstances also lead to situations of exploitation and trafficking.
