Anyone Have A Rower For Sale?
Bez wątpienia to będzie hit! To naturalne. Zgubiła mnie głupota, nieznajomość alp i letnia rutyna. Nieprzemakalnej kurtki i worków. Dlatego nim zaczniesz wspinaczkę wypadałoby zrzucić bluzę i wpakować ją do kieszonki. Będzie lepszy komfort i przede wszystkim nie zapocisz jej. Podkoszulka kolarska pomoże z kolei oszczędzić nieco koszulkę. Tak samo jak czapeczka z daszkiem. W górach ogranicza zalewanie oczu potem odprowadzając go poza czoło, pozwala oszczędzić wnętrze kasku i paski, a na zjeździe wpada nam w kask mniej robactwa. Będziesz zmęczony(a). Wówczas ciało inaczej odbiera otoczenie. Stąd rękawki i cieniutka kurteczka zjazdowa to minimum jakie musisz mieć. Możesz też zdjąc kask i ewentualnie czapeczkę. Niech to przeschnie. W srogie upały mozna kask przemyć w zlewie. Tak samo czapkę. Chłodzi i usuwa bakterie powodujące nieprzyjemny zapach. Na podjazdach i ostrych akcentach kurtka i komin do kieszeni +8 – 12 stopni: Krótkie spodenki, nogawki, długa potówka, koszulka, bluza, komin, ciepła czapka. Na podjazdach kurtka do kieszonki koszulki. Na długiej trasie cienka kurteczka. +12 – 15 stopni: Krótkie spodenki, potówka, koszulka, bluza, z wykłada czapka, zwykłe rękawiczki. Na podjazdach bluza do kieszonki. Na długiej trasie cienka kurteczka. 15 – 18 stopni. Cały na krótko, plus bluza. Na długiej trasie cienka kurteczka. •⁃18 – 20 stopni.
Rozmowa.
Zara Lachlan set three World Records rowing solo, unsupported and non-stop from mainland Europe to mainland South America from October 2024 to February 2025. Lachlan at only 21 years old, was the first female ever and youngest person to complete this route, and the youngest female to row from any mainland to mainland. On this 97-day expedition Zara faced stormy weather leading to a capsize, a large bite from a suspected barracuda, and regular hallucinations from extreme exhaustion. This crossing pushed her physically as she rowed 16-21 hours a day but found the mental struggle from being in pure isolation during testing conditions for the first forty days, where the weather was against her for thirty-five of them, a significantly larger challenge. Throughout the process Zara was raising money for two charities important to her, Team Forces and Women in Sport. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Those restrictions for maternity care were left in place far too long affecting the mental health of mothers and staff. That's according to evidence given to the Covid-19 inquiry which this week is looking at the subject in detail. The inquiry has been listening to the impact on women from 13 pregnancy, baby and parent organisations. We hear from our correspondent who has been following it, Jim Reid, and from Jenny Ward, the CEO of the Lullaby Trust, who gave evidence on behalf of all the organisations. And we talk to Daisie Lane who tells us of her own experience and her book chronicling 150 other women's experiences.Bestselling author Sophie Kinsella, known for the hugely popular Shopaholic series and many other bestsellers, has sold over 45 million books which have been translated into more than 40 languages. Her latest novel, What Does It Feel Like?, is her most autobiographical yet. It tells the story of a novelist who wakes up in a hospital bed with no memory of how she got there and learns she's had surgery to remove a large tumour growing in her brain. She must re-learn how to walk, talk, and write again. Six months ago, Sophie shared with her readers on social media that in 2022, she had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a type of aggressive brain cancer. It's known for its poor prognosis with only 25% of people surviving more than one year, and only 5% survive more than five years.A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a 22-year-old woman was found in south Belfast. Mary Ward is the fourth woman to be murdered in the space of six weeks in Northern Ireland. The Police Service of Northern Ireland - or PSNI - have referred the case to the office of the Police Ombudsman. Earlier this year, the PSNI released figures showing that in the five years between 2019 and 2024, 30 women and girls across Northern Ireland were killed by men. To put that into context, the population of Northern Ireland is around 1.9 million. We hear from Alison Morris - the Crime Reporter for the Belfast Telegraph.Woman's Hour is joined by the winner of the BBC Green Sport Award, the rower Imogen Grant. Campaigning for cleaner rivers, being vegan and buying fewer clothes are all things Imogen does to protect the environment. She also talks about winning gold at Paris 2024.Presenter: Nuala McGovern Producer: Kirsty Starkey

He was once a goalie for the Humboldt Broncos, a Canadian junior "A" ice hockey team from Humboldt, Saskatchewan. In 2018, the Broncos were traveling to a playoff game in Nipawin when the team bus collided with a semi-truck. This incident changed Jacob, the Broncos, and the city of Humboldt forever. Jacob's recovery journey has been one of incredible resilience and inspiration. Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Jacob found a new path in the sport of rowing. His determination and spirit led him to embrace this new challenge, ultimately earning a spot on the Canadian 2024 Paralympic Rowing Team. In this episode, Jacob shares his story of recovery, the support he received, and how he discovered rowing. From the tragedy that forever changed his life to finding hope and purpose in a new sport, Jacob's journey is a testament to the power of the human spirit. In 2012, Michael DiSanto graduated from a prestigious university. But instead of following the path of his peers, he set out to achieve a lofty goal: make the 2016 Olympic rowing team. It was a tough decision and even tougher training process; at times he was bored, at times he wanted to give up. di Santo used anxiety and anger as powerful motivators to drive his performance as an Olympic rower. Host Morra Aarons-Mele speaks to DiSanto about his journey to the games, how he ended his career, how he manages his mental health, and what lessons he's taken into his career in finance today.
