    In today's episode, we'll be diving deep into the topic of increasing self-confidence and building integrity with yourself. We'll be discussing four key principles that can help you achieve these goals: First Decide Then Do, Start Small, Never Miss Twice, and Build Up Over Time. Self-confidence and integrity are two essential qualities for success in life. When you believe in yourself and your abilities, you're more likely to take risks, pursue your dreams, and achieve your goals. And when you have integrity with yourself, you can trust yourself to follow through on your commitments and be true to your values. So how do you increase your self-confidence and build integrity with yourself? Let's start with the first principle: First Decide Then Do. This principle is all about making a clear decision and then taking action. One of the biggest obstacles to self-confidence and integrity is indecision. When you're unsure of what you want or what you believe in, it's easy to become overwhelmed and lose focus. But when you make a clear decision about what you want and what you stand for, you can move forward with clarity and purpose. The key is to be intentional about your decision-making process. Take the time to reflect on what's important to you, what your values are, and what you want to achieve. Write down your decision and make a commitment to follow through on it. Once you've made a decision, it's time to take action. This can be as simple as taking the first step towards your goal, or as complex as developing a detailed plan of action. The important thing is to start moving in the direction of your decision. The second principle of increasing self-confidence and building integrity is Start Small. This principle is all about breaking down your goals into small, manageable steps. When you set big goals for yourself, it's easy to become overwhelmed and discouraged. But when you break your goals down into small, achievable steps, you can build momentum and make progress towards your goal. For example, if you want to start exercising regularly, you might start by going for a short walk each day. Or if you want to start eating healthier, you might start by replacing one unhealthy snack with a healthy one each day. The key is to start small and build momentum over time. By taking small steps towards your goal, you'll start to build confidence in your abilities and your commitment to your goal. The third principle of increasing self-confidence and building integrity is Never Miss Twice. This principle is all about staying committed to your goals, even when you stumble. When you're working towards a goal, there will be times when you stumble or fall off track. Maybe you miss a day of exercise, or you eat a whole pizza instead of just a slice. It's important not to beat yourself up over these slip-ups, but also not to let them derail you completely. The key is to get back on track as soon as possible. If you miss a day of exercise, make sure you exercise the next day. If you eat a whole pizza, make sure you eat healthy the next day. The rule is simple: never miss twice. By staying committed to your goal and not letting slip-ups derail you, you'll build integrity with yourself and strengthen your self-confidence. The fourth and final principle of increasing self-confidence and building integrity is Build Up Over Time. Meditation is a powerful tool for reducing stress, improving focus, and cultivating inner peace. It's a simple practice that can be done by anyone, anywhere, and at any time. But many people struggle to maintain a regular meditation practice, often because they haven't created the right conditions for success. That's where the three principles of making time, making a place, and making a commitment come in. By following these principles, you can set yourself up for success and make meditation a regular part of your routine. Let's start with the first principle: making time. One of the biggest obstacles to meditation is finding the time to do it. With busy schedules and endless distractions, it can be challenging to carve out even a few minutes for quiet reflection. But the truth is, meditation doesn't have to take up a lot of time. Even just five minutes a day can make a big difference in your mental and emotional well-being. The key is to make it a priority and schedule it into your day. Try setting aside a specific time each day for your meditation practice. Maybe it's first thing in the morning, before you start your day, or at the end of the day, before you go to bed. Whatever time you choose, make sure it's a time when you can be consistent. By making time for meditation, you're telling yourself that this practice is important and that you value your own well-being. It's a small but powerful step towards creating a more mindful and intentional life. The second principle of creating a successful meditation practice is making a place. Just as important as finding the time to meditate is finding the right place to do it. Ideally, you want a quiet, calm, and comfortable space where you can focus on your meditation practice without distractions. It doesn't have to be a fancy or elaborate space, just a place where you feel relaxed and at ease. If you don't have a dedicated meditation space in your home, you can create one easily. Maybe it's a corner of your bedroom, a spot in your living room, or even a quiet outdoor space. Make it your own by adding some cushions, candles, or other items that help you feel relaxed and centered. By creating a specific meditation space, you're signaling to yourself that this is a sacred practice, and that you're committed to making it a regular part of your life. The final principle of creating a successful meditation practice is making a commitment. This means committing to a regular practice, even when it's hard or when you don't feel like it. It's important to remember that meditation is a practice, which means that it's not always going to be easy or comfortable. There will be days when you don't feel like meditating, when your mind is racing, or when you're distracted by outside noise. But it's during these challenging moments that your commitment to your practice becomes even more important. By showing up to your meditation practice, even when it's difficult, you're building resilience and strengthening your ability to focus and stay present. One way to stay committed to your practice is to set a specific goal or intention for your meditation practice. Maybe it's to reduce stress, improve focus, or cultivate inner peace.     You don't get stronger from pulling back when you experience pain. You gain strength by holding your hand in the hot water and getting used to the new level of stimulation. My dad would always remind me of the quote "Pain is an illusion, it's just an illusion that hurts!" I have managed chronic pain in my side without any clear understanding from doctors. I used to spend a lot of energy fighting off the pain and trying to will it to stop. For the most part that worked and I did see some reduction of pain but I would become mentally overwhelmed and extremely angry with those around me. I was always mentally exhausted, at my very limit of stress. Once I learned to lean into the pain and try to feel it as much as possible and really meditate on it, explore how it feels. The next time you accidentally get a cut or wound think about this principle. Instead of being gentle with the cut, immediately go scrub it with soap and water. Even use your nails to scrape the cut with soap. Sounds crazy right? It is a little bit but once you do this you always will. I always heal very quickly and almost every time after the rough scrub and wash it never hurts again. It actually feels great as it heals. When you are stretching or doing yoga and it hurts go further and breath through it. You will begin to crave that feeling. That feeling is the secret to pushing past every challenge in your life.     Join The This is a very important subject for me. I mean no offense and if you disagree with me, I support your right to do so, loudly. Send me your videos and I will put your content up! I love how Anchor and Spotify let me express my feelings freely and let me get my message out. I would hope I would never have to worry about getting canceled on here! I truly believe that everyone deserves the right to express their feelings. It was difficult for me at first. I wanted to silence the voices of those who had opposite viewpoints of mine. It was easier than defending my belief. It is tiresome to communicate your beliefs sometimes. Especially when you are dealing with a differing opinion from someone else who is passionate about what they believe, just as you are. We are overwhelmed by sophist reporters, politicians and influencers in our media. There are several specious stories being told in our media that the majority of people simply buy into. Without question or delay they buy into a narrative because it has a ring of truth to it. Yet if they looked into the opposite viewpoint even slightly the illusion would fall away. So many of these stories about Kanye are completely apocryphal. He has no obsession with Hitler. That is simply insane. Kanye has been getting closer and closer to God and I can see he means well. On this episode I will be talking about How to keep going. This is something I particularly focus on in my life. The goals that I have are out there. I will be the first to admit that. I know the things I want to accomplish are considered crazy to most. What I am trying to manifest in my life right now seems impossible. The 100 day challenge I am in seems impossible. I restarted 3 times to get to where I am now. I still don't feel like I am moving at the right pace. I want to do more. Why after pushing myself to the breaking point over and over do I continue? Why do I keep going? How do I keep going? My Why is bigger than any obstacle, the positive effect I believe I can create is worth almost any sacrifice. I will stop at nothing because I know my purpose. I can't say I believe it will all work out because I simply believe it all will be. I will work out how I feel about the reality I manifest and only time will tell what that will be. I keep going by reminding myself that it is 100% mental and I remind myself of past positive choices and contemplate the results. I use The Four Pillars every day but The Master Key is My Why! When you establish a routine and stick to it, you are in control of your life. You decide what happens each day, and how you will spend your time. Creating the perfect routine is not easy, but it is worth it! In this blog post, we will discuss the steps necessary to create a routine that will help you achieve your goals! Your Morning Routine should have four main areas of focus Move, Meditate, Elevate and Educate. Starting your day with movement gets the blood flowing and jump-starts your metabolism. It also helps to clear your mind and get you ready for the day ahead. Meditation is a great way to center yourself and focus on your goals. It allows you to find peace in the chaos of everyday life. Elevating your mood is essential to having a great day. Find things that make you happy and do them every morning. This could be listening to music, reading, or spending time with loved ones. Educating yourself is also important in achieving success. Make sure to set aside time each day to learn something new.     What is Your Why? Take a minute to imagine your perfect life. If you couldn't fail and could have everything you ever wanted what would that be? How would that look? How would that feel? Really take some to go there....seriously....set a timer for at least 60 seconds and allow yourself to imagine your dream life. Does it involve travel? Romance? Riches? Perhaps spending time with loved ones? Success in business? Starting a family? Having a healthy body? Making an impact on your community? What does YOUR dream life entail? When you do this exercise, take it a layer deeper. Don't just stop at the desire you want, go beyond and tap into WHY you want it. What will it do or add to your life? For example, if you desire money, WHY do you desire it? What will it change for you and your life? Will you be able to buy a home for your parents? Will it allow you to travel? Will it free you from debt? Will it give you a sense of safety and security? Or, if your goal is to have a healthy body, WHY is that important for you? Do you want to look sexy in a bathing suit? Do you want to be able to roll around on the ground with your grand kids? Will it allow you to go hiking and climb a mountain?     Core Values are simply beliefs that you identify as truth. They are beliefs that you have an intimate personal connection with. They guide you in every choice and determine what you do if you live a value centered life. Some of us grew up with our parents talking about core beliefs or values and others learned more from observation. Some people are consciously aware of their core beliefs and others are unconsciously operating from core beliefs they have internalized without realizing it. Our subconscious mind is constantly taking in stimulus, grouping it together and storing it as a very specific emotion with specific responses programmed for future use when a similar situation arises. You filter your actions and responses through values you believe in. Some of these are true and some may be false. You adopt a lot from your parents and influential figures in your life. You also see behaviors and beliefs of others, correlate those beliefs with how well they are doing and determine if you should adopt beliefs like them or not based on the results you think you will get. You don't do this consciously, this happens extremely quickly as your mind begins to group observations and actions and store everything for future recall. When you clearly identify your core values the clarity brings confidence and action towards what you want in life. I highly encourage you to think about what you believe and what principles guide your decision making processes. I am going to share my core values with you below.     This is an area of struggle for me. I tend to work myself to the bone and take on more than I can handle. I look at stopping or slowing down as a negative. I have myself in a multi year grind to get to a certain goal I have set. I am going to take a vacation after that but for me the next four years are going to be a little out of balance. I know I will be more effective and have the ability to get more done when I relax and take time for myself. You can get lost in the grind and lose clarity. You can strain certain parts of your brain to the point that you are ineffective. I now make time 1 day a week as a recharge day.
