This episode aired in Feb 2017 and seems to have been quite popular again during quarantine as more people wake up to government overreach, or just feel something is off. Alex Jones is always portrayed by the mainstream media as a 'crazy conspiracy nutter' but have they ever listened and bothered to factcheck? We aim to get these under 30mins, so this one has run over a little, just how you might describe the original too, which is nearly 4hours long!Also we promised to be less sweary but this also fell apart during this one. As part of our road trip to Queensland  Aurelia had the idea to have her property cleansed of bad juju (her words!). With the bushfires still raging through the hot summer in Australia, Aurelia and Gee reflect upon the attitude of the country to scapegoat the PM over the severity of the fires this year. Usually Australians band together but this disaster has seen a different reaction, something out of character for Australians. Toss in some international judgement and you got a salty blast from Gee who has a bit of an "how dare you" attitude. Us Aussies are bit touchy right now, so some salt might be tossed about.As usual we go on a few interesting tangents, discussing spirits and alternate realities, world history, safari and walkabouts, and the dangers of 12yo boys and matches, haha. Avid YouTube and Podcast listener Gee is always telling her husband about "must listen" interviews and decided maybe more people would like to hear a precis of famous podcasts. We both agreed the Elon Musk interview on the Joe Rogan show is one of the world's most watched and most famous, and incidentally, most misrepresented.
