The inquest into the death of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe has now heard its 19th week of evidence. The inquest has now heard from mental health experts - one said it ‘feels like there is so much we don't know about this case'. But the experts do agree that Noah is “unlikely to have died by suicide”. They also agreed that Jordan Peterson's book ‘12 Rules For Life' would have had an “influence” on Noah. The teenager's body was found in a storm drain in June 2020 after being missing for six days. Liam Tunney is covering the inquest for the Belfast Telegraph, he spoke to Olivia Peden. Hosted on Acast. Send us Fan MailA road trip is a great metaphor for life.  In this episode I share 6 ideas  or rules for life that come from the road.  I share a few road trips stories and then weave them into how that can relate to our life in general.  Rules like, detours are part of life and make sure to stop and refuel.  In addition a few deeper metaphors, like knowing your destination and the people in the car matter.  As you think about and plan your next road trip, you may also think how this adventure can relate to the metaphor of life. For show notes and transcripts go to www.findingthefloor.com/ep259 I would love to hear from you!  You can reach me at camille@findingthefloor.com or dm @findingthefloor on instagram.  Thanks for listening!!Thanks to Seth Johnson for my intro and outro original music.  I love it so much!

In this episode of ScaleUp Radio, Kevin Brent is joined by entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist Jeremy Middleton. Jeremy is best known as one of the early backers of HomeServe, a business that grew from a struggling plumbing service into a FTSE-100 company before its eventual acquisition. Today he leads Middleton Enterprises, investing in profitable founder-led businesses and helping them scale from around £500k profit to £5m and beyond. This episode explores the real lessons behind scaling successfully: pivoting business models, building predictable revenue, hiring the right people and making smart funding decisions. As always, our discussion breaks down into three parts. First, we explore Jeremy's journey with HomeServe and the lessons from building and scaling the business. Second, we dig into the real challenges founders face when scaling including hiring the right people, building predictable revenue and why one of the most important early hires is a strong Finance Director. And third, we finish with some quickfire questions to wrap things up. One standout message from the discussion is this: a small share of a big business is far better than a big share of a small one. On this month's Q and A episode of The Brad Jensen Show, Craig and I sat down and answered a stacked lineup of questions you all sent in. We kicked things off by diving into GLP medications and the big conversation around sustainability. We talked about who they actually make sense for, the mindset traps people fall into, and what long term success looks like beyond just the scale. From there, we broke down my three rules for life and how those simple principles can anchor you when everything else feels chaotic. We also got into the most overrated exercises in the gym and why the flashy stuff you see on social media rarely moves the needle like people think. Another big part of the discussion was the overlap between fitness and relationships How your habits affect your partner, how communication matters more than macros, and how to stay aligned when you and your significant other might be in different "seasons." We wrapped with practical strategies for balancing a busy life Running businesses, being parents, staying consistent, and not losing your identity in the chaos. And of course, there were a handful of other questions we hit that we left out on purpose You will have to tune in to hear the rest.     Next Level Links Nutrition Coaching Free Consultations - Schedule Here Nutrition Coaching - www.becomenextlevel.com   Try Thrive  Lab Free For One Month - Start Here Order Supplements From Transform Order from Cured Supplement Order from Legion Supplements and get 20% off your first order by using discount code: keynutrition   Free Guides: Eating Out Guide - Get The Guide High-Protein Fast Food Orders - Get the Guide Macro Food Options Guide - Get The Guide   Join Us On Patreon - Join Here   Submit your questions to be featured on our Q&A episodes.   Connect with us on Instagram Host Brad Jensen – @thesoberbodybuilder Co-Host Craig Smith - @greatestdaymindset Next Level Nutrition – @mynextlevelnutrition

Ever feel like life slams a brick wall into your plans? We all want to go our own way, but God gives something better: Ten commandments that aren't just rules—they're a lifeline. In this sermon, we explore how God's law exposes our need, points us to Christ, and anchors us in a community of love, justice, and peace. From Israel's story to our own, discover how the Spirit transforms hearts, frees us from guilt, and empowers us to live in grateful obedience. If you've ever wrestled with “Why can't I just do what I want?” this message will give you a new perspective on God's “No” and the life He actually designed for you.Time:AfternoonMinister:Rev.
