The peaceful part of the talk, although it is just words, is a beginning to look at how we make a love language of small systematic acts of goodness. A rare chance to speak with a person who has dedicated his life to the seeking even though he is not a monk. Getting off the beaten track, he has pursued his journey in meditation and seeking the truth for himself, for many years now. I choose to interact with him, and understand his reference points on 'what is meditation? Is it necessary? How does one deal with worldly success or the lack of it?' and many such questions useful to us in daily life. We had a quick but substantially clear take on quite a few valid topics. In a world which is being enamoured and fascinated by Artificial Intelligence, we take this chance to delve deeper into what is intelligence. This journey into understanding creates its own path - starting from what is a metaphysical and a 'heavy' discussion, it meanders into unknown paths throwing light on many interesting 'read', 'heard', 'experienced' versions and still growing out of all this and shining on a new 'truth' as we are both, equally stumped by the revelation and what it means to us. Hemant Gupta continues to be one of my favourite chat-mates on the podcast for a reason. Have a look at one more reminder why :) For the video, check www.youtube.com/c/thevaluesworkshop

We talk about job responsibilities, being good at one's profession but not making it the most important part of our job. Our guest wisely covers a lot of ground by speaking about daily happenings, his ability to be balanced in all conditions, working diligently to understand his mind state - basically using the activities which are part of everyday to be in accordance with what one wishes to be.
