This is a fascinating mix of a conversation with Nishant Choudhary. We talk about ambition and 'seeking and many things which affect the two aspects. There is so much meat in here, that you might want to watch it twice. The questions surprised me as much as they piqued him and it helped that he was kind and patient with understanding the deeper undertones of the queries. Check it out. This is my first episode since December of 2023! Last year I did an experiment with my life and spent 4 months living semi-nomadically in Italy, mostly. That time period opened my mind to some new goals that lead me to where and what I'm doing now which is living in Turin, Italy as a student at The University of Turin studying archeology, in Italian. I wrote extensively about the concepts of Yes And and Following the Fun in my book AFTERLife, Waking up From My American Dream. They are tools that I'm still using and still amazed at the powerful impact one can witness when we say yes to what our hearts desire. Please like, follow, and share anything you find useful and don't hesitate to let me know if something doesn't make sense or if you'd like me to expand on or add to anything I've covered. Thank you so much and best of luck on your journey! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/carlopodcast/support

Imagine that you're in a race, but instead of focusing forward on the hurdles in front of you or on the finish line, you're looking at all the other racers to your right and left. It probably would not end well. However, when you think about it, that's how we are sometimes in life. In this short episode, we take a look at the insights we gained from our last guest, Angela Scott in “Comparison Detox.” Through personal stories of both successes and failures, we share what we've learned about casting aside comparison and competition…and running our own race, even when it's the most difficult. This can be an uncomfortable topic that forces us to be honest with ourselves. We promise to try to be transparent and encourage you to do some soul-searching as well. Click play for some encouragement in finding your own God-given gifts instead of worrying about how others are “stacking up” against you. Recently Vegas has joined the ranks of cities throughout the nation to approve cottage kitchen laws. These laws allow for people to run small food businesses out of their private residences. But it isn't all peaches and cream. In fact, the food items produced in cottage kitchens cannot contain uncooked cream, custard, nor cream cheese due to food safety regulations. Brett Boyer and his husband, Brendon Wilharber started their bakery, Desert Bread in 2018 and despite the challenges that rise, they're rolling out the dough. Co-Host Vogue Robinson chops it up with Brett about how their business lets them spend more time doing what they love and how cottage laws have changed the pastry profession. Check out Dessert Bread! “Our deepest fears are like dragons guarding our deepest treasure.” —Rainer Maria Rilka Sometimes what keeps us from the change we want to see in our life are the dragons of our deepest fears. In this special episode of “A Change Mindset,” we reflect on what we've learned about change from our guests so far. We explore how our guests tamed their dragons of fear and discover that three themes — purpose, self-trust and patience — can help us push through fear and face change head on. This week's guest, Stephen Brunton, deep dives into a powerful and vulnerable conversation with us that we know will shine a little light & share a little hope for those who listen in. We start off exploring what it's like to leave your “job/job” to follow your passion and fall into alignment. As an actor and a voice over artist this is something Stephen's recently done. We explore all the different triggers and opportunities that come hand in hand with braving the unknown when you make that call. He also generously shares his, and his partner Brigitte's, real & raw journey through their experience of miscarriage. In NZ miscarriage affects approximately 1 in every 4 women and their partners. Yet it's not something we openly talk about often. And it's something that can leave many who experience it feeling alone. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Stephen & Brigitte for sharing their experience and engaging in a conversation many shy away from. We talk about everything and just catch up on mic. We talk a lot about trying to pursue dreams and knowing when is the right time to drop fun pursuits. We try to have some fun, this one is just breaking back through the ice.

The path of pursuing a dream may not always be a straight path, you never know what can come along your way to deter your path, but if there’s one thing that you can fall back on, it’s the skill to stay organized - which in turn can boost your motivation and Inspiration. Imagine a huge sweep of deleting every tab you have open in your web browser. And that’s what we talk about today :) -------------------- Hey Everyone! So this episode had a lot more energy involved, Personally I found it a lot more fun, and didn't mind it running a little over because of that.
