Severed Conscience is not only about control, it is also about yielding agency.  Aldus Huxley said “There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method for making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears”.  Technology, tuned to our dopamine cycles, is eliminating our conscious rejection of has made us a thriving society.  MIT Technology Review recently found that a chatbot provider called Botify AI was similarly hosting chatbot versions of sexualized, de-aged celebrity women, while a Futurism investigation last year found that the chatbot startup Character.AI — which is currently fighting two child welfare lawsuits — was hosting chatbots expressly designed to groom underage users. The same Bro-ligarchs who preach their technical superiority are somehow unable to stop the proliferation of sexually explicit imagery involving children.  But they claim they have technology that will protect us from violence if we all just register our identities.  They will build out a Digital Twin for us all.  And with the violence imposed by illegal immigrants and drug cartels, many seem eager to embrace such a system. The original video for this podcast can be found at https://rumble.com/v6s3o4d-morning-mission-gretchs-lyin-eyes.htmlWe have been manipulated. What better prison can there be than the mind, for nothing else can keep a prisoner within his or her jail cell when the cell door is wide open. With the right conditioning where you are taught to love your servitude, you may be aware of the cell walls, you may not need cell walls if your mental conditioning is complete. Philosopher Jeremy Bentham was a contemporary of Reverend Bell, and while Bell was in India Bentham traveled to Russia to visit his brother and travel with Prince Potemkin. On this two year journey Bentham conceived of a humane prison he called the Panopticon, a penitentiary designed to allow each prisoner to be viewed at all times from above. Complete surveillance at all times.Aldus Huxley, author of the dystopian novel A Brave New World, summed up the theory succinctly. “A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude.”If you are fearful of roaming without your yoke, you are less likely to struggle to break free. For men and women, their mind is their most powerful gift and the most dangerous weapon when used against them. Severed Conscience, the mental state where we are cut off from our instincts and faculties that enable us to think and experience our environment, is the prison where we are held captive. Our last episode was Technology. In this part of our series titled Controlled Environment, we are turning from our examination of Intrusive Technology and examine how technology, science of the mind, and other elements are used in concert to create a prison where every aspect of our lives will be managed. We have been manipulated. This week we are joined by the creator and host of Saint Podcast, Eric Huang, to discuss Saint Ursula, a British princess who was killed by the Huns in Cologne Germany on October 21st 383 AD, and who miraculously managed to take 11,000 virgins and one pope down with her. We also learn how Ursula inspired a very early commune of liberated women and how a convent of Ursuline nuns suffered madness and demonic possession during a quarantine lockdown in a global pandemic (something we can all relate to). Eric shares how this wild tale inspired both a book by Aldus Huxley and a nearly pornographic 1971 film called The Devils by director Ken Russell. We also revisit the earlier October feast days of Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as the Little Flower, whose autobiography is much maligned by our co-host Sean Kelly. And finally, we offer our support for the proposed beatification of a modern young woman who was inspired by both St. Francis and St. Thérèse, Cristina Gaztelu Vargas. Recently, there has been a renewed interest in the potential benefits of psychedelic drugs. In this episode we explore 1) how the use of psychedelic drugs can have a transformative and lasting impact on the worldviews of those who use them, 2) how a psychedelic experience can drive people to practice certain mainstream religions, and 3) claims that some mainstream religions were inspired by ancestral use of psychedelic drugs. While some people propose that psychedelics are a panacea for modern mental health issues and that they offer an easy and direct path to transcendence, we explore the dark side of the psychedelic experience, with a particular focus on the otherworldly entities people meet while under the influence of DMT (ayahuasca). I can still remember my favorite class from high school. It was a Humanities class that was co-taught by a couple Social Studies teachers. It was a class only for Seniors, it required an application, and a minimum GPA. Those things were required because, for the class to work everyone in the class had to take it seriously and work hard. The class primarily consisted of reading classical works of social philosophy like; Plato’s “Republic,” Dante’s “Inferno,” Thomas More’s “Utopia,” and Aldus Huxley’s “Brave New World.” After reading each work the class would discuss and debate the ideas that had been presented. At our conferences I remember one of the teachers, Mr. Anderson, saying I had become the resident Bible Scholar for the class. I was 17. I didn’t think of myself as a scholar of anything, besides maybe sleeping until noon. When my mom pressed him on what he meant he explained that as our class discussed the books and their ideas, I would introduce material from the bible. At the time I was working very hard at developing a bible reading devotional life. I found that our class discussions connected to what I was reading in the bible. The bible offered meaningful insight on the discussions. It’s not a complicated idea, but we often miss the basics. I was only able to see the insight the bible offered because I was becoming increasingly familiar with what was said in the bible. During this season of Lent, we are going to begin a sermon series designed to explore what is said in the bible, specifically what is said about Jesus by Mark. Mark is the shortest Gospel, at only 11,304 words, only 58% of Luke’s 19,482 words. Mark’s version of the Jesus story rushes from scene to scene, and event to event. Mark’s desire is to tell us exactly what we need to know about Jesus, and get us to the Cross as quickly as possible. Even Mark’s account of the resurrection is very brief. With all this in mind, During Lent, we are going to begin a sermon series in Mark we’re calling “Rushing to the Cross.” But, we are not going to rush through Mark. We are going to look at the entire story that Mark tells us about Jesus, and that is going to take us nearly a year of Sundays. We will carefully explore what Mark said about Jesus in his hurried story about Jesus’ life, ministry, death, and resurrection.

Travel tip: If you refuse to use the new full body scanners, then check the videos below to see what is in store for you.  This kind of treatment is usually reserved for newly arrived prisoners, but then again, that's the point.  We're all potential terrorists in the new emerging global system.  Do you 'feel' like a terrorist?  Why do we stand for such treatment?  Is it really for safety, or have we been trained to obey authority, even if it is wrong?  It's been well documented that the CIA secretly funded artists and writers during the Cold War and it makes you wonder what their funding these days and for what purposes.  I'm sure they funded the "great" biowarfare scientist William C. Patrick III, who before his death last month, created enough anthrax to wipe out the entire human population.  But since the U.S.'s corruption perception index is relatively low, the public will continue to play and be happy in their slavery.  That was Aldus Huxley's dream.
