This is the fifth instalment in the outstanding series, *God's Wisdom in the Family Design*, and it delivers a wonderfully insightful look into faithful parenting. We explore how the commandment to "honour thy father and mother" is not just a rule for children but a mirror for parents, revealing how we must live to be worthy of that honour. Ken reveals that parenting is not about forceful control but about faith-filled discipleship, where our primary responsibility is to teach our children the principles of God's Word. He provides a wonderful and practical guide, blending biblical exposition with heartfelt encouragement for every stage of the parenting journey. From the inspiring example of Jacob's enduring faith to the incredible generational faithfulness of Jonadab, this talk reveals how a "kingdom-heading family" is built through a massive educational program and a foundation of genuine love. This is an essential watch for parents, grandparents, and all who desire to see their families aimed in the right direction.**Timestamps:**00:00 - Introduction & The Commandment to Honour08:14 - The Parent's Role as God's Ambassador15:52 - The Crucial Link: How Parents Must Model Godly Honour18:26 - Parenting by Faith, Not by Invention22:46 - Practical Ideas: Making the Bible Come Alive28:39 - The Foundation of Love for Effective Discipline34:09 - The Rod of Correction: A Tool of Salvation40:57 - Examples of Faithful Parenting: Jacob43:53 - Examples of Faithful Parenting: Mordecai46:39 - Examples of Faithful Parenting: Jonadab53:22 - Examples of Faithful Parenting: Abraham59:41 - Conclusion: Make Yours a Kingdom-Heading Family**Bible Verse Categories:**
A @Christadelphians Video: [Prophecy being fulfilled!]What an extraordinary week it has been for those watching the mountains of Israel. As we observe the headlines surrounding the E1 settlement plans and the re-establishment of Kadim, we are witnessing something truly thought-provoking unfold before our very eyes. The international outcry from Britain, France, Germany, and Italy over Jewish construction near Jerusalem is yet another remarkable sign that the biblical stage is being set for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this outstanding exposition, Bible Scholar Matt Davies guides us through the prophetic significance of these current events, demonstrating how the words of Ezekiel, Zechariah, and Joel are being fulfilled in our generation. The mountains of Israel are once again inhabited by God's people, Jerusalem has become that burdensome stone to the nations, and the division of the land has become the great diplomatic controversy of our age. This is a wonderful and revealing presentation that will strengthen your faith and encourage you to look beyond the immediate political disputes to see God's hand at work in history. The prophecies are not merely ancient words—they are living, breathing revelations that speak directly to our time.Join us as we explore why these settlements matter, what the prophets foretold, and how these events point inexorably toward the soon return of Jesus Christ to establish God's Kingdom upon the earth.**Chapters:**00:00 - Introduction: Settlers on the Mountains of Israel01:00 - The E1 Controversy: International Diplomatic Dispute02:12 - Kadim Re-established: Jewish Pioneers Return04:04 - Bible Prophecy: Setting the Stage04:40 - Ezekiel's Prophecy: The Mountains of Israel Restored07:03 - The Latter Days: Invasion Foretold09:34 - Zechariah's Prophecy: Jerusalem the Burdensome Stone12:05 - Joel's Prophecy: The Nations and the Division of the Land14:38 - The Final Conflict: All Nations Against Jerusalem15:49 - Observing the Signs of the Times17:28 - The Resolution: Christ's Return and God's Kingdom18:26 - Closing Remarks and Call to Action**Bible Verse Category:**
A @Christadelphians Video: [Actual, provable Bible Truth] awaits in this thought-provoking and deeply expositional study, "The Appointed Time #5: From Desolation to Restoration." This outstanding presentation takes us on a remarkable journey through the prophecies of Daniel, revealing the powerful timeline of God's plan for His people and His Holy City. We delve into the mysterious phrase "the abomination of desolation," uncovering its historical fulfilments and its profound connection to our future hope. This is a wonderful and inspiring exploration of Scripture that will strengthen your faith and deepen your understanding of God's unfolding purpose. We begin by examining the abomination of desolation, a pattern of false worship and desecration that appears not once, but four times in Daniel's prophecy. From Antiochus Epiphanes' defilement of the temple in 167 BC, to the Roman armies surrounding Jerusalem in AD 70, we see the tragic consequences of rejecting God's Son. But the prophecy doesn't end there; it points forward to a third and final abomination, the Dome of the Rock, a structure that has stood on the Temple Mount for centuries. This brings us to the heart of the study: the incredible time periods of the 1290 and 1335 days. By applying the day-for-a-year principle, we trace the 1290 years from the Babylonian invasions (599-598 BC) to the completion of the Dome of the Rock (691-692 AD). This revelation provides a solid anchor for understanding the final 1335-year period, which points to a future date of immense significance—a time of blessing and resurrection.Join us as we work through the 2300-day prophecy of Daniel 8, exploring the vision of the Ram and the Goat and the rise of the Roman horn. This is a challenging but rewarding study that builds to an incredible climax: the hope of the resurrection, the cleansing of the sanctuary, and the ultimate restoration of all things under the Kingdom of God. We pray this study encourages you to watch and pray, longing for that appointed day.**Chapters:**00:00 - Introduction: From Desolation to Restoration01:36 - Four Key Questions02:29 - The Four Occurrences of the Abomination03:33 - Defining the Abomination of Desolation04:27 - The First Abomination: Antiochus Epiphanes06:05 - The Second Abomination: Rome in AD 7016:47 - The Roman Power Given by God18:56 - Daniel 9: The Ongoing Desolation20:44 - The 2300 Days: A Time of Trampling24:36 - 1967 and the Cleansing of the Sanctuary29:20 - The Three Abominations Summarised30:04 - The 1290 Days: A Start and a Finish33:33 - The Third Abomination: The Dome of the Rock38:27 - The 1335 Days: The Final Blessing41:09 - The Sequential Timeline: A New Understanding44:19 - 2026/2027 and the Hope of the Resurrection45:42 - One Day... A @Christadelphians Video: [Actual, provable Bible Truth] We are delving into one of the most thought-provoking and insightful prophetic threads in all of Scripture. This expositional study on the 1260-year dominion of the Little Horn is outstanding in its clarity, revealing how Bible prophecy maps perfectly onto the timeline of history. Join us for a wonderful journey through the books of Daniel and Revelation as we uncover the identity of this power and witness God's sovereign hand at work.In this powerful session, we trace the prophetic timeline from the height of the Roman Empire, through its fragmentation, and the subsequent rise of a unique religious-political power. We analyse the principle of prophecy by repetition and expansion, showing how God highlights what truly matters. Witness the historical shift from persecution to imperial favour under Constantine, the church's embrace of political power, and the incredible fulfilment of Daniel's vision. From the breaking up of Rome to the rise of the Papacy and its remarkable domination, we prove that history is simply prophecy unveiled.**Chapters:**00:00 - Introduction & The Principle of Repetition in Prophecy04:45 - The Foundation: Nebuchadnezzar's Image (Daniel 2)06:00 - The Fourth Beast of Daniel 7: The Roman Empire10:00 - The Historical Fly-Through: From Pagan Rome to Constantine13:30 - Constantine's Influence and the Politicisation of the Church19:30 - The Splitting of the Empire & The Rise of the Ten Horns22:00 - Identifying the Little Horn: The Papal Power25:30 - The Pompous Words & Historical Claims of the Papacy28:00 - The Handover of Authority (AD 538) & The Key Historical Anchors31:30 - The Rise of the Holy Roman Empire & The Two Beasts37:00 - The Humiliation of Kings (The Road to Canossa)39:30 - The Persecution of the Saints & The Inquisition42:00 - The Turning Point: The French Revolution & The Rise of Napoleon44:30 - The End of Temporal Power (1798 & 1870) & Conclusion46:50 - Looking Ahead to Part Two & Call to Action**Bible Verse Category:**

A @Christadelphians Video: Video Summary Description: Nowhere does the Bible teach gender as a choice, but something you are born with. Men are not better than women, nor women better than men. Men and women have equal value in God's eyes. This address is a strong motivation to read the Bible for yourself instead of relying on other people's interpretation. In this **thought-provoking** and **insightful** presentation, Bible scholar Stephen Palmer delivers an **outstanding** and **revealing** exposition on what Scripture truly teaches about gender, sex, and the divine purpose for men and women. We explore how the Bible has been **falsely accused** of justifying oppression, when in reality it provides a **wonderful foundation** for marriage, family, and mutual respect.Starting from the creation account in Genesis, we discover that God's plan from the very beginning was to create **male and female in His image**—both equally bearing His likeness. The Bible reveals that men and women are **biologically binary** and designed for complementary roles that reflect profound spiritual truths. This presentation powerfully addresses contemporary cultural debates while remaining firmly grounded in **Scriptural authority**. We examine how Jesus Himself elevated the status of women, rejecting the chauvinism of His day, and how the Apostle Paul teaches that **in Christ there is neither male nor female** when it comes to salvation. The **beautiful truth** emerges that marriage itself is a “great mystery” pointing to the relationship between Christ and His church. Far from being a relic of patriarchal oppression, the Bible's teaching on gender offers a **liberating vision** of equality, dignity, and purpose for all humanity.00:00 – Introduction: Why Study Gender?**04:17 – Foundation Principles: God's Word as Our Guide**07:24 – Creation in Genesis 1: Male and Female in God's Image**14:00 – The Fertility Crisis and God's Purpose**17:39 – The Chiastic Structure of Genesis 5**20:26 – Galatians 3: Equality in Salvation**24:22 – Genesis 2: The Creation of Woman**30:03 – Jesus on Marriage and Divorce**34:21 – Ephesians 5:42:06 – Conclusion:Bible Teaching About Gender with Bible scholar and author Stephen Palmer

We explore how his attitude of reverence, not mere ceremony, drew Yahweh's favour. Most insightful of all, we see how this Gentile “Gittite” became a trusted porter before the ark—and how his family grew to supply 62 of the 93 temple gatekeepers! A @Christadelphians Video: ## YouTube SummaryWe, as Christadelphians, bring you this **outstanding** and **thought-provoking** exposition of Ezekiel's prophecy against Tyre. Is it a spectacular success or a failure of Bible prophecy? Bible scholar Stephen Palmer delivers a **revealing**, verse-by-verse analysis that answers the critics and demonstrates the **wonderful** precision of God's Word. Many claim this prophecy never came true – that Tyre still stands and Nebuchadnezzar failed. But a careful, **insightful** reading of Scripture (Ezekiel 26–29) uncovers five distinct judgments, the “wave upon wave” of many nations (like the sea), and the crucial shift from “he” (Nebuchadnezzar) to “they” (later nations). We trace the history from Babylon to Alexander the Great, who scraped the *mainland* city of Old Tyre into the sea – fulfilling the prophecy that it would become “like the top of a rock, a place to spread nets.” Modern archaeology confirms Old Tyre's location six kilometres south of today's UNESCO site, where nothing remains but a nature park. The Bible is true; the critic is wrong. This **expositional** study will strengthen your faith in God's reliable Word and point you to the greater hope: Christ's coming kingdom.## Chapters00:00 – Introduction – Prophecy as proof the Bible is God's Word 01:15 – The challenge: critics say Tyre prophecy failed 02:02 – Tyre's ancient wealth and maritime power 05:45 – Ezekiel 26:1-6 – Tyre gloats over Jerusalem's fall 07:02 – Nebuchadnezzar: the first “wave” (verses 7-11) 08:40 – The shift from “he” to “they” (verse 12) 10:17 – Does Ezekiel 29 admit failure? 13:57 – Five things prophecy said would happen 16:03 – Nebuchadnezzar does only two of five 20:26 – “They” (later nations) do the other three 25:07 – Alexander the Great destroys mainland Old Tyre 27:12 – Building the causeway – waves and storm 30:01 – Where was Old Tyre? In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, I'm joined by Bible scholar Dr. Stephen Boyce to tell the story of his conversion from Baptist to Anglican and, ultimately, into the Catholic Church. Stephen's story begins in independent Baptist churches, up through his PhD in a Baptist seminary, and through teaching and pastoring, researching the Early Church, and ultimately coming to the conclusion that his own denomination didn't look like Early Christianity. Driven by these realizations, Dr. Boyce, his wife, and kids became Anglican and, eventually, driven by the Real Presence in the Eucharist, Catholic.Dr. Boyce is someone that I've personally followed for some years. A Swiss church just created an AI-powered “digital Jesus” for people to confess to — and Dr. T. Michael W. Halcomb has thoughts. In this episode of Bible Scholar Reacts, Dr. Halcomb breaks down the theology, the tech, and the deeper cultural issues behind this experiment called Deus in Machina. Why are we so quick to replace real human connection — and even sacred practices — with machines? What does this reveal about our spiritual hunger… and our discomfort with vulnerability? From Augustine to incarnation theology to the dangers of outsourcing spiritual formation to algorithms, this reaction goes deeper than the headlines.Link to the article: https://www.instagram.com/p/DRzZzOGCFqL/***GlossaHouse resources are available at our website! - https://glossahouse.com/✏️ ***Sign up for classes with GlossaHouse U - https://glossahouse.com/pages/classes

AI, Technology, and The ChurchText your questions to: (559) 754-0182Watch the video of this entire conversation hereWelcome to a thought-provoking conversation on the Radiant Church Podcast, where we explore the intersection of faith and technology. In this episode, host Eric Riley and his guests — David Janssen (Data Analytics Coordinator), Matt Flummer (Philosophy Professor), Tim Harms (Pastor & Business Owner), and Glenn Power (Teacher & Bible Scholar) — tackle the profound questions posed by the rise of artificial intelligence. We'll define key terms like AI, AGI, and Large Language Models, and separate the hype from the reality. More than just a tech discussion, this episode brings the conversation back to the foundations of our faith, exploring what the Bible says about humanity, sin, and technology.Key Discussion PointsUnderstanding AI: The team breaks down what AI is, from its simplest form as predictive text to the complex models that power today's chatbots like ChatGPT.AI's Promise and Peril: The conversation dives into the "gospel of AI," exploring its promises of progress, utopia, and even immortality, and contrasting this with the biblical narrative of creation and human nature.Biblical Foundation: We turn to scripture, including Genesis 1-3 and the Tower of Babel, to understand our identity as humans created in God's image and our inherent desire to be "like God." The discussion highlights the importance of trusting God over human inventions. The Cost of Convenience: The podcast explores the hidden costs of AI, from the environmental impact of data centers to the ethical implications of data scraping and the human toll on those who train these models.Faithful Living in the AI Age: The episode concludes with a practical call to action, offering insights on how Christians can live wisely, discern the spiritual implications of technology, and draw a line between using technology for good and trusting in it for salvation.Resources & RecommendationsThe Life We're Looking For by Andy CrouchThe AI Revolution by John LennoxThe Convivial Society Substack by L.M. In this episode of Devotions with Dre, Bible scholar Dr. Adam Ayers joins us to geek out about the book of Revelation. I'd saved up some questions for him throughout my studies of the book so far, and his responses were extremely helpful and enlightening. We chat about the reasons that Revelation was written, the main points of the book, and he debunks a couple common misunderstandings that tend to perpetuate in pop culture. This episode includes the Lamb, the Beast, and plenty about the Empire, so buckle up.
