If God is all knowing do we really have free will? A few week's ago, I responded to a claim from a woman who said you cannot have an all knowing, all loving God, and Hell. So many people agreed with her and said if God is all knowing then we cannot have free will and make our own decisions. Like always, I take this debate back to the Bible where I break down the doctrine of free will, Hell, and the reason this woman might be justified in her claim IF and only IF God creates some for Heaven and some for Hell. But does He do that? We'll revisit her reel where she makes this claim and talk about all of this and more in today's episode. 1. Kyle mentioned the Protestant Reformers a few podcasts ago. Do you hold to the doctrines that came out of the reformation? The five solas? What about Calvanism? All five points?2. What does it mean that Jesus is the “Word”? What would be a synonym for “word” in this case? Is it “the ultimate truth”? And if so, how does the ultimate truth bring things into existence, including life? I've always just accepted that Jesus is the Word, without really thinking about what that means.

in episode #323, Pastors Kyle, Doug, and Blake discuss the following: AER: the transgender question on episode 322. Could you clarify - is transgenderism right or wrong? Not talking about intersex or gender dysphoria, but trying to change from one gender to another or trying to be non-binary - is that wrong? Do you practice ‘pronoun hospitality'? If a professing Christian decides to be transgender and goes through with surgery - do you affirm this? What would you do if your teenager or younger child decides to take cross-sex hormones - do you let them? Is it hateful or loving to not affirm this? What do you think of SOGI in our public schools?Kyle mentioned the Protestant Reformers a few podcasts ago. Do you hold to the doctrines that came out of the reformation? The five solas? The bible considers repentance a "gift" (Acts 11:18, 2 Timothy 2:25). Does repentance seem like a gift to you? We hardly hear popular pastors talking about repentance and we don't want to hear the angry street preachers who do speak of it. To be "the righteousness of God" means something significantly different than popularly conceived. Some of Satan's most destructive footholds are found within the borders of "Christian Doctrines." But there is no plural for Christian doctrine. The only things that are indeed "Christian" are the true things. There's only one truth; everything else is a foothold for satan. Today, we will confront a popular "Christian" doctrine that has produced massive rebellion, fear, heartache, confusion, and rejection. I am talking about the Calvinistic doctrine of election.❤️ SHOW YOUR SUPPORT - LINKS BELOW...➡️ DONATE ➡️ Join our team!https://www.givesendgo.com/karlgesslerfamilybandhttps://www.patreon.com/karlgesslerSocial Media➡️Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089357625739➡️Telegram - https://t.me/FaithoftheFathers➡️Truth Social - https://truthsocial.com/@UCLOvq6O4aIXLrkKxwXkq3uA ➡️Gab - https://gab.com/KarlGesslerSupport the show

From Burma to the USA- Culture, Family, Religion, Real Estate with Pau Thang- TT&DPC EP 78 Pau Thupha Thang is a real estate broker in Fort Wayne Indiana who has his license with EXP Realty. Pau is also part of the local Cheviron Coaching team. Pau talked about how he came over to America in the 5th grade, speaking almost no English. Back when Pau was in Burma, he had no septic systems. The electricity was unreliable and they got their water from a well. Pau talked about the diversity of Burma and how it is made up of many different cultures that are in constant conflict with one another. Christian missionaries who came to East Burma converted a lot of Chin Burmese into Christians. Pau's father became a pastor and by God's grace, his family was granted the green card lottery and given permission to come to the USA. Pau talked about the values from Eastern culture and their focus on family and community. Pau shared his initial desire to follow his father's footsteps and get into ministry. As Pau grew older though, he began to struggle with Christianity and decided to pursue a different lifestyle for himself. Pau gets vulnerable toward the end of the podcast and shares his thoughts on sexuality and how he eventually got enough information and insight through spiritual and political podcasts to choose to behave in a way that is more congruent with traditional Christianity. Pau and Dakota eventually talk about their interest and belief in some of the principles and beliefs of Calvanism. Check this podcast out! The Ultimate Course on Flipping (and Wholesaling) Houses
Does God pre-pick who can know Him, or do we get to truly choose Him? Beliefs about fate, free will, and predestination are key components of Calvinism. A recent caller asked if these matters make Calvinism a different gospel.I spent a couple of decades of my life believing aspects of Calvinism were correct. And while it affirms many core truths of the Gospel, I share the major problem with its view of salvation in this episode.I also address another misunderstanding that Calvinists and many religious groups today have about a Christian's nature. My take on this might be shocking, but you'll be encouraged by what God really did to you at salvation and how good He really is!We hope you enjoyed this episode. And for the non-Catholics, it proved to be very challenging because they were not able to find their own faith or their own churches in the first few centuries of the church. They could think they saw them in the pages of the New Testament but once you start reading the Fathers of the Church or any writings of the early era, you don't see Calvanism, you don't see Presbyterian, you don't see Methodism, you don't see Unitarianism, none of that is there. What you see is the Catholic Church and Catholic beliefs, Catholic customs, Catholic practices, Catholic morals. So I came to see that history is a great way to confirm the bonafities of the Church." --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/unboxingcatholicism/message

Bzzzt. Krrrrzztztz. *static*False start! Five yard penalty! On today's exciting episode of Truth Wanted, Objectively Dan is joined by Derek Lambert, creator and host of the MythVision Podcast! Derek is a former Calvanist who used to upload sermons on YouTube. He shares his story with Dan to open up the show. Welcome, Derek! We can't wait to see how you handle these truth claims.First up in the calls is Mauricio, who is also the first person to call Truth Wanted from Venezuela! Thanks for calling! Mauricio is wondering whether acupuncture is actually affecting a person's medical health, or if it maybe just makes them feel better. Dan shares his views on acupuncture and they are quite similar to his views on chiropractors as well. DerekNext up is Alex in NY, who is calling to pitch his ghost hunting show idea! Instead of the normal format (where people already believe in ghosts and set out to prove their own conclusions), Alex thinks they should set out to prove whatever is true without assuming anything. We think that's quite a concept, but unfortunately, discovering the cause of a supernatural claim is actually mundane is rather… mundane. Thanks for the idea, Alex! We'll see what we can do.Matt in Maryland calls in next to talk about UAPs/UFOs! He is curious if Dan and Derek think that UAPs demonstrate advanced technology! This subject certainly needs more research, let us know what you think in the comments! Our next caller, Erik, wants to talk about how to prevent people from using fake medicine. Acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, chakra manipulation, and tarot readings for medical advice… all of it is harmful! We think this is a very important topic, thank you for calling, Erik.Next up, Tony calls in from Mexico to discuss COVID conspiracy theories. This is a very tough topic, especially when it hits close to home. Hang in there, folks!Lastly, Oliver calls in from England to, well, make Dan's day! This call is a must-listen.Well that wraps up tonight's show. Thank you so much to our guest, Derek Lambert from the MythVision podcast. Remember to always keep wanting the truth. See you next week!
Has God PREDESTINED us to heaven or hell or do we have FREE CHOICE to trust in Jesus Christ for our eternal salvation as offered to all who would come to Him? The Bible uses language such as chosen, the elect, but also that "Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9) NIV. John MacArthur, pastor, reformed theology-;false teacher. He is well known for being the so called “biblical truth” but in reality. He is just a common liar. No different than all his ilk and his fellow friends. In this episode I dismantle John MacArthur as he tries to explain and deny Jesus in the same breath. This won't go down easy. Yet it will go down none the less. Trust God and never a theologian. God puts them all to shame. Take a listen and see God rip apart his denial of Jesus Christ. Love youErick

ANDDDD, here we are again. The third time in the letter to the scattered Hebrew believers, the writer mentions apostasy. Greek “aphistemi” a departing from God and abandoning what one once believed and experienced in Christ. It involves a disowning of Christ, departure from the Body of Christ and the Christian faith. Scripture, especially here in Hebrews issues real and urgent warnings about this grave possibility, designed both to alert us to the deadly danger of apostasy and its consequences and to motivate us to persevere in faith and obedience. Why was the writer warning these things? A few reasons, they were scattered and not gathering regularly. (Heb 10:25-26) They were persecuted by the Roman government and other Jews, and as seen from last week they were not maturing in their faith. The divine purpose of these warning passages must not be weakened by the view that states, “The warnings are real, but the possibility of actual apostasy is not”. An examination of the above phrases will show that the writer refers to those who are sincere believers. The phrase "it is impossible" denotes absolute impossibility. It has been contended, that it denotes only great difficulty. But the meaning is that "the thing could not be done;" that it was not merely very difficult, but absolutely impossible. The word – “impossible” occurs only in the New Testament in the following places, in all which it denotes that the thing could not be done; Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27, "With men this is impossible;" that is, men could not save one who was rich, implying that the thing was wholly beyond human power. Luke 18:27, "the things which are impossible with men are possible with God" - referring to the same case; Acts 14:8, "A man of Lystra, impotent in his feet;" that is, who was wholly "unable" to walk; Romans 8:3, "For what the law could not do;" what was absolutely "impossible" for the Law to accomplish; that is, to save people; Hebrews 6:18, "In which it was impossible for God to lie;" Hebrews 10:4, "It is not possible for the blood of bulls and of goats to take away sin;" and Hebrews 11:6, "Without faith it is impossible to please God;" in all of these instances denoting absolute impossibility. These passages show that it is not merely a great difficulty to which the apostle refers, but that he meant to say that the thing was wholly unfeasible; that it could not be done. And if this be the meaning, then it proves that if those referred to should fall away, they could never be renewed. Their case was hopeless, and they must perish: that is, if a true Christian should apostatize, or fall from grace, "he never could be renewed again," and could not be saved.

We have been decieved by many doctrines of demons. We have been taught the philosophies of men applied to Biblical texts, and they are dead wrong, leading many to eternal torment. One of these false doctrines and theologies is Calvanism. Denominations like the Baptist Church and other off-shoots teach a system that allows people to believe that God has pre-selected them to be saved, to become the elect ones while predetermining others to hell fire. They believe that God has a Foreknowledge of their salvation. But, this is not truth at all. We will demonstrate that the ancient Jews did not believe such nonsense. We will show you how 4th Ezra destroys Calvinism to its core. We will lay out the meanings behind the Apostles Paul and Peter's writting along with the words of Christ regarding the truth behind salvation and God's special foreknowledge. It is beautiful to see Messiah. It is beautiful to see the redemptive plan of God for His creation. It is all about God and His Son, and never about our reighteousness. www.FifthookMedia.comwww.KAPOWradioShow.comwww.KAPOWradioShow.transistor.fm

What kind of emotions does the word perfection evoke in you? If we are talking about food, it might be a very exciting, complimentary word. But if we are talking about our moral, mental, or physical presence, it is a very overbearing word. The understanding that God is perfect is both intimidating as well as alienating. We don't even really know what perfection is though we feel the pressure to live up to someone's notion of it. Does this pressure come from God? Does God demand perfection from us? The Bible has a lot to say about perfection and righteousness. The Bible talks about things like "being made perfect" (Hebrews 10:14 and Hebrews 11:40) and "becoming righteousness" (2 Corinthians 5:21). But when the Biblical authors write about such things, they often don't intend for them to be heard the way that many modern westerners understand them. The Biblical authors were living within a narrative that said that God was going to do something through his people, and when this thing as completed, God Himself would be righteous and the promises would be brought to "perfection". This week, Karl and Susie Gessler continue to explore the meaning of God's righteousness in the Bible and how it relates to people of God and the story of the world that God so loved.Leave a Comment or ask a question:https://www.karlgessler.com/contactShow Your Love! When Acts 13:48 says that "as many as were appointed to eternal life believed," does this directly refer to the teaching of election? In this episode I answer this question, as well as point out other passages of Scripture that seem point to the controversial doctrine of election.
