We Are Not In The Information Age... We are in the information overload age. Every skill-set we need for productivity and success is at our fingertips on the internet. Yet many still struggle and there is a reason for this. I believe we have it backwards for with all the skills, tools and competence, no action takes place without confidence. We must manage our emotions.
After reviewing hundreds of Profit and Loss Statements and thousands of coaching calls... There are 3 Things a Leader MUST BE OBSESSED with and it’s NOT... What most are focused on. It’s unfortunate the INFO-Tainer or Self Proclaimed Gurus and Coaches have diluted the True Growth Principles with Theory that you buy and keeps you stuck. The ELITE Leaders know what these principles are and own it daily. In one of my previous Inman articles, I wrote about how losing my top agent spurred me into action to restructure my organization and build it up to the point where we eventually placed # 3 on the local business journal's list of Best Companies to work for. What I didn't mention at the time, was that one huge part of this transformation was being introduced to Jon Cheplak, the elite coach who teaches others how to recruit the best talent and build a company culture where agent's thrive. Today I had the pleasure of interviewing him for the Realty Hack podcast, check it out now.

Let me give you a hint: what are some of the most-watched TV shows? If you take a close look at ratings, you'll find that most of the top TV shows out there are in the genre of reality TV, and it's not going away anytime soon. Your social media channels are a form of reality TV! Best part, people love reality TV, and love connecting with you and your story. That's how your clients and leads connect with you. They see what you do, get to know you, and keep you in mind when they are ready to buy or sell a house! But did you know that most people spend way too much time planning instead of doing? Instead of posting, they make plans to post, or complain about their lack of fancy equipment. “It didn't work,” they say, when looking at social media strategies they have tried. Problem is, they didn't give it time to work! If you post a few times a week, sporadically, it won't have time to work. The biggest elements that any social media strategy needs to succeed is time and consistency. None of the reality TV shows that are on the air today were “perfect” when they started, and they aren't perfect even now. But they are on the air because the producers kept pushing onward, and consistently creating content. In the words of Jon Cheplak, consistency is going to give you a victory. Victory gives you confidence. Confidence gives you momentum, and momentum's unstoppable. Are you ready to get your reality TV started? Jon Cheplak is here on this episode of #REalAdvice to help inspire you to stop planning how you're going to attract clients, and get yourself out there with your own “reality TV channel”!
Play Now | Learn More In this episode, Jason Will talks with self-proclaimed "hyper-local sales expert", Matthew Bizzarro, and the correlation of this sales mindset and improving your business and serving your customers at a higher level. Matthew founded The Bizzarro Agency; a boutique firm focused in Uptown Manhattan (more specifically 110th North and the Bronx) on his extensive experience and knowledge of real estate and business ethics. He has transformed the market with his cutting edge and honest approach to real estate and lifestyle marketing. Mathew shares his insights on the power of "knowing" your market more than anyone else, injecting yourself in your local community, and creating a real business and civic impact by giving back. Key Takeaways > Investing and injecting yourself in the communities you serve can grow your business, strengthen your sales numbers, and connect you to your market. > Don't just sell real estate in a market. Inject yourself, live in, support, and become a true ambassador for your market and community. > Be hyper-local focus by living in and knowing your sales area better than anyone else. > Create a community engagement program that solves real issues and requires your attention and participation, not just your financial support. > Recruit and hire quality agents that understand and believe your firm's hyper-local community mission. > Giving back connects you to your community and builds trust with your clients, peers, and neighbors. Quotable Quotes We really believe in the Uptown Manhattan and we're really invested in the community. - Matthew Bizzarro We're very involved in our community. We don't just write checks. We're looking into doing things like park cleanups, solving problems, and really giving back. - Matthew Bizzarro Frequently engaging with our community helps others recognize us and who we are. - Matthew Bizzarro I always personally check out any needs in communities we serve just to make sure of the real benefit. Make sure you have a connection. If it's not something you can get connected to personally, emotionally, it may not be the best investment. - Jason Will Find local events, associations or fundraisers that you are personally connected to, and make sure that the work they're doing is really valuable in the community. - Jason Will We're very conscious about making sure our clients know all the good things we're doing because it's them choosing to buy a home with the Bizzarro Agency. We are more than just providing them with a wonderful home for the next chapter in their life. - Matthew Bizzarro I think creating community awareness for your business is a top priority, and then you see where the ripple effect goes. - Matthew Bizzarro My team is one of the best agents in the business, and they deliver for their clients, every day in and out. However, we have to deliver to be able to also work on our mission in giving back. Because the more we deliver for our clients, the more deals we close, the more we can then give back. - Matthew Bizzarro I'm going to provide you the best value because you want to buy up here and there is nobody that knows this neighborhood better. I live here. I've done deals in almost every building. - Matthew Bizzarro Giving back and being good is trendy...everyone is doing it, but some people are really doing it. Also, some people are just going through the motions to have it as a logo on their website. - Matthew Bizzarro ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// We would like to know what you think about the Agent 251 podcast, especially this episode. Affirmations are thoughts, words or phrase that are constantly repeated until they enter the unconscious ind and become a part of your programming.
The Law of Affirmation states that you bring about what you affirm. Affirm that you are who you really want to be. You will become it sooner than you think.
Adapting a positive perspective changes negative though-forms to positive ones. Using positive affirmations is a way to achieve a positive attitude and frame of mind.
Visualizations can come into our reality if your minds accept this as a possibility. However, when we feel undeserving or afraid, we try to force our dream into reality. Metaphysically, we are able to create whatever we may desire.
When we are trying to please others or to get the approval of others, we are wearing a mask, the "ego mask", it is an undercover selfishness. The ego mask covers up our authentic self, donning this mask says, on every level, "who I authentically am is not good enough for the world", this statement could not be farther from the truth.
Your perception of me is a reflection of you. My reaction to you is an awareness of me.
Time is not linear. Your mental state changes your perception of time. Size also depends on perception. When we are children everything seems much larger than they do when we are adults. Everything is based on our personal perception as our truth.
