Of the Power Six conferences, the Big 12, SEC, and ACC return hardly any of their top 10 scorers, while the Big East, Big Ten, and Pac 12 return at least half of theirs. In fact, precisely zero of the Big 12's top 10 scorers from last season are returning to play for the same team. LJ Cryer is the only top-10 scorer to return to the conference, BUT he's transferred from Baylor to Houston.Marquette released their non-conference schedule on Thursday. It's a tough gauntlet for Shaka Smart's team, not even including the 20-game Big East schedule. The Maui field is loaded, plus Marquette will go to Wisconsin and Illinois and welcome Coach Smart's former team, the Texas Longhorns. The NCAA has announced some rule changes for 2023-24 including a new way for refs to adjudicate block/charge decisions.Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

The Dawgs are back to their rightful place on the SEC throne. The final score didn't really do that performance justice. We demolished them in the 1st half and were able to burn the clock for most of the 2nd half. There were still a few hiccups in this game. In particular, we gave up 500 passing yards and turned the ball over again. But, you give Coach Smart a month to prepare, and he'll get that taken care of. We're playing Ohio State on New Year's Eve for a chance to go to the big one. What a time to be a Dawg! On Wednesday University of Georgia Head Football Coach Kirby Smart joined Andy Bunker, Randy McMichael and Jon Chuckery at SEC Media Days and discussed several topics about the Bulldog football program including returning Quarterback Stetson Bennett. “How was Stetson Bennett different now than when he was first on campus?” asked Andy. “Man…He was confident when he was a little cocky-sucker when he first on campus (laughter). He wasn't afraid to say what he thought to make a play,” Coach Smart replied. “I still remember the bowl game (Rose Bowl) where we were playing Oklahoma, he was the Baker Mayfield scout team quarterback. And man I used to be like this guy is running around making plays everywhere, he was like a little wizard. That's where ‘The Mailman' (Bennett) got his name,” Coach Smart added.
