A European Election candidate for this region claims the EU's migration pact is not rooted in human rights. It comes amid flaring political tensions over the proposed legislation which consists of five separate regulations and promises a faster, more efficient and fairer Asylum Seeker application process. Although the pact has been opted into by a number of EU member states, including Ireland, its policies will not come into force until 2026. Sinn Féin Senator and Ireland South candidate Paul Gavan says the pact not only detracts from Ireland's sovereignty but lacks the urgency required to tackle migration issues.

Flipped “Flipped Satisfaction”  Luke 6:21 and 25 What satisfies you and where does it come from? Satisfaction comes from meeting a desire or hunger. How desires are met reveals where you believe satisfaction comes from. Jesus flipped the understanding of satisfaction from the natural to the spiritual. He did so to provide clarity and depth of what brings satisfaction to the soul. Hunger is healthy. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Reveals need (our sin) Reveals dependence (our solution) Hunger is meant to be satisfied… (1 Corinthians 2:14, Luke 4:18-20, John 14:6) in the right manner. with the right things. Natural things can never satisfy spiritual hunger. Hunger Suppressants Delay (our will) Distract (our lusts) Dilute (our priorities) The Woe = exclamation of pain, discomfort, and unhappiness. Believing temporal pleasures will result in satisfying an eternal need. The Blessing = happy and fortunate Our eternal need is satisfied through a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Are you hungry now? (Psalm 107:9)   Core CHRISTlike Characteristic: Spirit-led Servant (only by the Spirit can we attend to spiritual things)     LifeGroup Questions:  Applying the Teaching to Our Life What are some of the emotions that accompany natural hunger? Do you find any parallels to the emotions you experience when spiritually hungry? How so? How is spiritual hunger healthy for our daily walk? Who is the source of satisfaction for the eternal need? As a group, list and thank Him for how He satisfies the longing soul. What type of “suppressants” offered by culture most plague you from paying attention to your spiritual hunger? What are some healthy ways you meet spiritual hunger? As one who has received the blessing of a relationship with Christ, how should the significance of eternity compel you to act towards those yet to receive?

In this episode, I'm reading a past letter I sent to the community last year to share guidance around staying true to our colours and stop diluting our art to fit in. How can we stay true to our vision and feel at home in our creative work? We can easily dilute our true colours as artists, creative minds and unconventional humans, when our creative vision gets tinted by the demands, 'shoulds' and distractions of the outside world... or the impossible standards we hold for ourselves. Fully honouring who we are will also inevitably bring out where we contrast with others. That's where our truth gets to exist, that's where our beauty lies. How can you stay true to the version of yourself, here and now? How can you own the boldest hues of your truest colours? - Prompts shared in this episode: + Where am I diluting my essence and my art to keep the peace or please others? + How can I be kinder to myself and let go of the red editor's pen? + What beauty can I choose to see in the messiness of this process? - Read the letter here. - About me Hello, I'm Pascale! In this episode of the No BS Sales School Podcast, Walker shares a story about a successful saleswoman who left her corporate job to start her own business. He shares her challenges with managing a diverse range of products and clients, and Walker offers an insightful analogy to help her focus on the most profitable opportunities.0:00:05: Introduction0:00:29: The guest's background and challenges with managing a diverse range of products and clients.0:01:08: Walker introduces an analogy to help the guest focus on the most profitable opportunities.0:02:07: Walker shares the analogy of squirrels, deer, and elephants to help the guest identify her ideal client.0:03:32: Walker summarizes the analogy and encourages listeners to think about their prospects as squirrels, deer, and elephants.0:04:37: Walker explains that squirrels are small clients that can wear you out with their service demands, but they often bring more squirrels. Elephants are big clients that take a lot of work to close and often come with scope creep, leading to reduced margins. Any client that makes up more than 25% of revenue is considered an elephant.0:07:42: Walker explains that when faced with the possibility of losing an elephant client, most people will lower their prices to keep the client, leading to reduced margins and possibly losing the client anyway.0:08:13: Walker explains that relying too heavily on elephant clients can lead to diminished service and losing clients, leaving you with nothing if you haven't had time to prospect.0:08:54: Walker introduces deer as the sweet spot for sales, and encourages listeners to focus their marketing, service, and prospecting efforts on their deer clients.0:09:25: Walker advises listeners to define their sweet spot by revenue generated or profitability and be able to describe their ideal clients to others.0:10:21: Walker emphasizes the importance of being intentional about who you're calling on and working on the deer clients, while recognizing and diluting elephant clients that make up more than 25% of revenue.0:11:22: Walker advises the guest on focusing on specific products that have a short sales cycle and can bring in cash quickly to build up the business, while continuing to work on the longer-term projects.0:13:16: Walker encourages listeners to think about their situation and where they want to spend most of their time, focusing on the deer clients and the products that can bring in cash quickly.0:13:43: Walker offers to help listeners with their sales strategy. Who are the deer and what are the products that you can sell those people that you can turn into cash the quickest and continue to move and grow your business?"ConclusionIn this episode, Walker offers a valuable analogy to help salespeople and entrepreneurs identify their ideal clients. By thinking of prospects as squirrels, deer, and elephants, businesses can focus on the most profitable opportunities and avoid wasting time on less lucrative prospects. Walker's client's experience with managing a diverse range of products and clients serves as a cautionary tale for relying too heavily on elephant clients. Skin is Your Dog's Largest Organ, Keep it Healthy! Dr. Marty Greer, DVM joins host Laura Reeves for a deep dive on skin problems in our dogs, how to avoid them, what causes them and how to treat them. Pro Tip? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. In previous episodes, Marty and Laura discuss allergies and external parasites, but today's topic covers hot spots, seasonal alopecia, demodex and other skin disorders. “The skin, believe it or not, is the largest organ of the body,” Greer noted. “So, it accounts for an important part of our dog's health and it accounts for a huge number of visits. A lot of people have noticed skin problems in their dog. In fact, at some point, almost every dog will have something wrong with their skin during their lifetime. So, the better prepared you are to deal with it, the better off you are. Hot Spots are a Hot Topic “Our typical response to a hot spot, as a veterinarian, is to grab the clippers and shave it. And so that makes it a bit of a challenge for us to try and manage these because a hot spot needs to be treated similar to a wildfire out of the forest -- you have to clear cut it. So, you have to clip out around it so that you're an inch or two out around the hotspot into normal skin to effectively stop the spread of it. And so this is where the show dog people totally freak out because that's that's a year's worth of hair coat. For some dogs that never grows back the same way. “And this is where having a good veterinary relationship really comes into play. Your veterinarian is gonna be a lot more sympathetic to your needs and expectations if you have developed that relationship. “It's not that we're unsympathetic to it, it's just that we have to balance what your needs are with the dogs health and so that's where this challenge comes in. “It's usually (caused by) a break in the skin of some kind, whether it's an insect bite or they ran into the fence or you know, something that just dinged the skin. Allergies. Anything that causes a break in the normal integrity of the skin then allows bacteria to develop. The official name for it is an acute superficial bacterial pyoderma. It's called a hot spot because it is hot, man. I mean, those things can spread … I've seen them double in size in 24 hours if you don't get it addressed. “You want to keep your dog healthy, their skin healthy. You want to keep them from matting. You want to be careful when you comb them or brush them that you're not breaking the skin. That you reduce their exposure to biting insects because that can initiate it, and if they do have allergies, that you get a handle on those. “Use your shampoos and conditioners carefully. Dilute your shampoo, rinse, rinse, rinse some more. Don't leave any residue. You know, just be smart about how you're taking care of your dog's coat because if the coat is important to you, then treat it as if it's important to you.” Listen to the full episode to learn more on the topic of skin disorders.

This week we welcome Brian Lester and Roger Berry for a discussion on mold remediation and cleaning products. Brian has been doing remediation for nearly 25 years and Roger is an entrepreneur and Founder of SUDOC, he also has a lengthy and fascinating history in world affairs. The Z-man is intrigued by the product they have developed and when the Z-man is takes notice of a cleaning product it's a good bet there is something there. We'll LEARN MORE today. Brian Lester has been in the cleaning and restoration business since 1998 when he started as a carpet cleaner doing water extractions with a portable extraction machine. He has managed 1000s of drying jobs as well as countless mold remediation projects. He is currently the President of Indiana Mold Remediation and work with his brother and best friend providing remediation work to all of central Indiana. Brian also  represents Dot cleaner as a product specialist having taken part in the design and implementation of the dot cleaning product directly into the remediation market. Dilute oxidation technology is new technology developed at Carnegie Mellon University. His friend Terry Collins is the inventor. The technology, which they refer to as the NT7 molecule is an oxidizing catalyst which mimics the action the takes places in the human body. They use this new technology because it reduces the chemical burden of remediation contractors.  Because Dot is a dry form product, their waste and shipping burden is markedly lower. Roger Berry is a passionate and experienced CEO and investor in high-potential technology companies with a focus on sustainability. Two decades plus of experience in private equity, covering fundraising, team incubation, deal due diligence, sustainable technology development and ultimately as CEO for a series of technology companies, has prepared Roger for his current role in building a transformative sustainable chemistry company in Sudoc. Roger has experience in analyzing and managing turnarounds and start-up ventures. Roger was a Partner with TEM Capital, an early-to-growth stage fund manager focused on clean energy and sustainable resources. On behalf of TEM, Roger served as CEO of two businesses including Clean Electricity Generation (CEG), a company with proprietary clean energy technology. Roger was Head of Group Funds and Investor Relations for Climate Change Capital, a fund manager with over $1.6 billion of assets. From 2000 to 2006, Roger was a Managing Partner and co-founder of Liberty Global Partners, an advisory and placement firm focused on emerging markets private equity. Liberty Global Partners raised significant commitments from institutional investors and led the creation of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association. Roger had formative experiences in the United States Congress and First Lady Hillary Clinton's health care task force. He subsequently worked in international development and conflict resolution. Roger draws inspiration from the times he spent with historic figure Nelson Mandela and other leaders of South Africa's transition to democracy. He first met President Mandela in 1993, before he became President, where he helped coordinate his testimony in front of the congressional International Affairs subcommittee on Africa. He subsequently went to work for the National Democratic Institute, living in Southern Africa and supporting the new leadership to establish key legislative processes. While in South Africa, he was also part of a team that facilitated discussions for the conflicted parties of Northern Ireland with the leadership of South Africa's government including President Mandela. This event was credited as a helpful step in the process of achieving reconciliation in Northern Ireland. Motivated by the impact of learning, Roger developed and co-teaches a course on private equity for the International Business Program at Tufts University Fletcher Graduate School. Roger serves on several Boards including the Managing Board of Aptima Ventures, the commercialization arm of Aptima Inc, a company that has done over $300 million of R&D on how technology and data can assess and enhance human performance for NASA, the US military and various agencies of health. Roger is the co-chair of the Harvard Alumni Committee for Cambridge, which is responsible for interviewing all of the city's applicants to the college. Roger is an honors graduate of Harvard University (1990) where he advanced to the number two position on the nationally ranked division one tennis team. He lives in Cambridge, MA with his wife Sonia Perez Villanueva, their three children Oscar, Alonso, and Alana, and their young beagle Millie.

THE THESIS: The Party is creating shortages for real people as they seek to monopolize all strategic assets: water, food, land, shelter, energy and information. Even what appear to be red states are selling out to the feds and The Party. We must remember the One who created the Garden is the One who fed the 5,000. He is the One to whom we must turn from our place of victory. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES:  Exodus 16 - Manna and Quail 16 The whole Israelite community set out from Elim and came to the Desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had come out of Egypt. 2 In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. 3 The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the Lord's hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.” 4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. 5 On the sixth day they are to prepare what they bring in, and that is to be twice as much as they gather on the other days.” 6 So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, “In the evening you will know that it was the Lord who brought you out of Egypt, 7 and in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?” 8 Moses also said, “You will know that it was the Lord when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord.” 9 Then Moses told Aaron, “Say to the entire Israelite community, ‘Come before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.'” 10 While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the Lord appearing in the cloud. 11 The Lord said to Moses, 12 “I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, ‘At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.'” 13 That evening quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. 14 When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor. 15 When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. 16 This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Everyone is to gather as much as they need. Take an omer[a] for each person you have in your tent.'” 17 The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. 18 And when they measured it by the omer, the one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little. Everyone had gathered just as much as they needed. 19 Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.” 20 However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them. 21 Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and when the sun grew hot, it melted away. 22 On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much—two omers[b] for each person—and the leaders of the community came and reported this to Moses. 23 He said to them, “This is what the Lord commanded: ‘Tomorrow is to be a day of sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.'” 24 So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it. 25 “Eat it today,” Moses said, “because today is a sabbath to the Lord. You will not find any of it on the ground today. 26 Six days you are to gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.” 27 Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none. 28 Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you[c] refuse to keep my commands and my instructions? 29 Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out.” 30 So the people rested on the seventh day. 31 The people of Israel called the bread manna.[d] It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey. 32 Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Take an omer of manna and keep it for the generations to come, so they can see the bread I gave you to eat in the wilderness when I brought you out of Egypt.'” 33 So Moses said to Aaron, “Take a jar and put an omer of manna in it. Then place it before the Lord to be kept for the generations to come.” 34 As the Lord commanded Moses, Aaron put the manna with the tablets of the covenant law, so that it might be preserved. 35 The Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a land that was settled; they ate manna until they reached the border of Canaan. 36 (An omer is one-tenth of an ephah.) JOBS: Washington is planning to expand apprenticeship requirements, requiring state training before you can get a job Hi Todd, Your topic on the podcast regarding putting up a red state firewall has me torn. As you well know, I am one of the conservatives that moved out of enemy territory in Insee's fiefdom and am now enjoying the immense effort at rebuilding in the red state of Arkansas. I caught a LOT of flak from people that follow my Hazardous Liberty page over the decision to leave and I have stood my ground on the idea that we need to abandon lost causes and move to shore up those areas where the attacks WILL be coming to, i.e., red states. I have moved here not only to protect my family, but also to become active here at preventing the lunacy from taking more root here than it already has. As I've explained to my audience many times before, I have not run away, I have strategically withdrawn in order to preserve the ability to fight. While I completely agree with your idea of an ideological firewall, I have to question if such an extreme step as an ideology tax would have the net benefit in that area. My family and I were only able to achieve our flight because of the artificially high house market and what we were able to sell our home for. If we were to have to add an ideology tax on top of the costs we have already incurred to start over it would have seriously curtailed what we could have done. This makes me wonder have many others there are on our side that may want to make the move but do not have the resources to do so. My concern is that such a tax would have a net depressive effect on our side rather than the Left. After all, whereas those of us on the Right tend to want to pay our own way with most things, the Left has repeatedly shown their willingness and funding to lose money on advancing the agenda. As I said, I am torn on this because I agree with the need for and the ideological satisfaction that such a policy would meet, I just don't know if the execution would play out as you think.  As always, I appreciate all your hard work on our behalf, and always taking the time to listen and respond. God continue to be with you, my friend.  In our RISEN Christ, Tyler    See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
