The Kingdom of God is like… …A seed growing from the most unlikely places. ……Wheat growing among weeds. …A house built on a firm foundation. The Kingdom of God is where… …Lost sons come home. …The proud are humbled. …Enemies become friends. …the empty are filled with good things. The Kingdom of God is…here among us.
Join us at Brisbane Central as we continue with our current series, Owned. This week Pastor Neli helps us to reflect on what God is desiring to build in us. We are called to live differently. We are called to be a non-anxious presence as we carry the calling to be a royal priesthood. How do you shape the culture around you as you walk in God's peace? Will you put your trust in God and embrace the calling to be a royal priesthood in your life today? Now the leaders of the people lived in Jerusalem. And the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in Jerusalem the holy city, while nine out of ten[a] remained in the other towns. And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered to live in Jerusalem. - Nehemiah 11:1-2 (ESV)
This month's host, Cinzia Soro, welcomes the Author and founder of The Culture Builders and Tuddl, Jane Sparrow, as they discuss why the new hybrid working model works for both the employer and the employee. For the majority of us, we were all thrown into remote working throughout the pandemic. And many of us still work this way! It's evolved and transformed the way we work and our daily lives. But hybrid working looks different for us all. Links www.theculturebuilders.com https://tuddl.com/ Credits Host: Cinzia Soro Guest: Jane Sparrow Production Company: Mags Creative Music: Artlist

I believe the greatest introduction I could make for this week's guest is simply this…he's a dear friend. He's someone who was there as a co-facilitator during one of the most pivotal moments in my life. IN THIS WEEK'S EPISODE you'll meet Travis Anderson. Travis Anderson is the founder and president of Culture Builders, a global management consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Known for his ability to transform teams, his work with the Denver Broncos (3 years leading up to the Super Bowl), facilitating their path to victory at the 2015 Super Bowl, and his work with several division-1 college sport teams sets him apart from those in the industry. He has consulted for numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as several fast-rising, multimillion-dollar startup companies. The focus of our conversation is on BUILDING CULTURE, more particularly, some of the key leadership principles and foundational elements of high performing organizations. If personal GROWTH continues to knock at your door, and you're ready to move beyond self optimization to more impactful level of leadership, this is one episode that promises new insight and perspective. In this second helping of a recent get together with Henrik Lind and Dion Sorensen we get into the role and place of feedback in a performance culture. We also cover a somewhat provocative take on the value in business of the MBA and how do you know when it's time to hand the reins of your business over to a new CEO?
For those who like to listen on the run – our massively popular series of interviews with Danske Commodities founder, Henrik Lind, and business psychologist, Dion Sorensen has been converted into an air pod-friendly podcast. In this, the first part of the two-part series, they share their ideas on how cultures and visions are formed and what defines good leadership. They also give their honest view on the challenges of creating a diverse workforce
Today's episode discusses the importance of culture in the workplace as well as how it impacts the success of a business. Brad and Bobby discuss the changing IT landscape, as well as how culture plays an important role in everything from the quality of work, to the turnover rate in a company. Hear from two guest speakers, Levi McPherson and Travis Anderson, members of Culture Builders. These experts offer insights on culture and how you can improve yours today! Learn how to balance a strong work culture with efficient business processes in this week's episode! “In my experience, working with the IT department, they absolutely have a culture, it's just different. It's just a little bit different than even the other departments within an organization. And part of that is common interests. Culture is all about relationships. It's all about how we communicate with one another and one of the things that you look at within an organization is what are those dynamics that make up those relationships? So, we're all looking to belong, we're all looking to feel trust, and one of the most fundamental aspects of belonging is the feeling of sameness. So people within the IT department have a common affinity with one another because they're talking the same language. In fact, that's one of the aspects that building culture has. is identifying what are the common values?” Brad Anderson, CEO of TechBridge, a Salt Lake City IT staffing company, and Bobby Glen James, Author, Speaker, and founder of BoTecha IT Support discuss the role of culture in the IT world. Hear these tech experts discuss how to improve your culture, and the benefits you'll receive by doing so in this week's episode of the New IT podcast, “Who Cares About Culture?”For more information on IT staffing and recruiting in Salt Lake City, visit https://techbridgeinc.com

Today is about covering some of the central ideas that will support your success as an exceptional leader and a sustainable and profitable business through engaging your people to ensure your success across both. Being a fantastic people leader, with an extensive people management tool kit can get you through any situation. As that will make all of the difference to your success.

Has Brian Sauvé lost his mind? His activity on Twitter is typically eye-catching, but something he tweeted recently really caught our attention, to the point that we knew we needed to get him on this show and interview him for Worldview Wednesday. What was the tweet in question? Sauvé said, "Wanted: Christians interested in building an institution-building church in Ogden, UT. Start businesses Flip houses Homestead Hire Christians Multi-generational legacy Build culture ...and generally make a holy ruckus. Oh, and we're starting a school in Fall 2021. Join us!" Doesn't he know that pastors are supposed to stick to overseeing their churches and *engaging* with culture, not *creating* culture? And yet, there he is, talking about actually creating institutions and "making a holy ruckus." Again we ask, has he lost his mind? No, he hasn't, but he his church are self-professed "cultural and theological maximalists. Along with a rising movement of Christian culture makers, they believe that Scripture, God's word, has direct implications for all of life, not only for Sunday mornings, but for "your emotional, mental, spiritual, social, political, relational, and physical self." He and his fellow elders (his church has a plurality of them) want to build a radical Christian culture in Utah... and did we mention they are starting a school? So who is Brian Sauvé? He is a pastor at Refuge Church in Ogden, Utah. He has been a Christian from a young age, and has been married since 2011 to Lexy (they met in the library in junior high), with whom he has been blessed with four children. Brian is an avid preacher and Gospel man, deeply concerned for exegetical and biblical theology, as well as the primacy of the Gospel. He co-hosts the Stump the Pastors podcast and writes on the topics of culture, theology, church life, philosophy, and more for Deeply Rooted Magazine, For the Church, and his personal blog, Mouse and Mane, as well as other outlets. Brian earned his Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies. And in what is perhaps his greatest honor, or at least perhaps not his greatest dishonor, Brian is our guest today on what is sure to be an engaging, educational, and inspiring episode of Worldview Wednesdays. Buckle up, but not too tight, because you're going to be on the edge of your seat the whole time. It's time to talk about Christian culture building, who's currently doing it, how to do it, and what the future holds for Ogden Utah and other Gospel outposts around the United States and beyond.
