IN PRIVATO CON DIO Dal Vangelo secondo Marco (4,26-34)In quel tempo, Gesù diceva [alla folla]: «Così è il regno di Dio: come un uomo che getta il seme sul terreno; dorma o vegli, di notte o di giorno, il seme germoglia e cresce. Come, egli stesso non lo sa. Il terreno produce spontaneamente prima lo stelo, poi la spiga, poi il chicco pieno nella spiga; e quando il frutto è maturo, subito egli manda la falce, perché è arrivata la mietitura».Diceva: «A che cosa possiamo paragonare il regno di Dio o con quale parabola possiamo descriverlo? È come un granello di senape che, quando viene seminato sul terreno, è il più piccolo di tutti i semi che sono sul terreno; ma, quando viene seminato, cresce e diventa più grande di tutte le piante dell'orto e fa rami così grandi che gli uccelli del cielo possono fare il nido alla sua ombra».Con molte parabole dello stesso genere annunciava loro la Parola, come potevano intendere. Senza parabole non parlava loro ma, in privato, ai suoi discepoli spiegava ogni cosa.COMMENTO: Restiamo in “privato” con Gesù. Lui metterà nel nostro cuore la sua Parola, che realizzerà la nostra vita, spontaneamente e senza il nostro controllo. Così saremo veramente felici e stupiti di cosa il Signore potrà operare con noi. Surrender Novena - Day 2 Prayer:Jesus to the soul: Surrender to Me does not mean to fret, to be upset, or to lose hope, nor does it mean offering to Me a worried prayer asking Me to follow you and change your worry into prayer. Surrender Novena - Day 3 Prayer: Jesus to the soul: How many things I do when the soul, in so much spiritual and material need turns to Me, looks at Me and says to Me, “You take care of it,” then closes its eyes and rests. In pain you pray for Me to act, but that I act in the way you want. You do not turn to Me; instead, you want Me to adapt to your ideas. You are not sick people who ask the doctor to cure you, but rather sick people who tell the doctor how to. So do not act this way, but pray as I taught you in the Our Father: “Hallowed be Thy Name,” that is, be glorified in my need. “Thy kingdom come,” that is, let all that is in us and in the world be in accord with Your kingdom. “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven,” that is, in our need, decide as You see fit for our temporal and eternal life. If you say to Me truly: “Thy will be done,” which is the same as saying: “You take care of it,” I will intervene with all My omnipotence, and I will resolve the most difficult situations. O Juízo de Deus A meditação sobre o Juízo de Deus é tão saudável ao homem que Santo Agostinho dizia: "Se os cristãos não ouvissem outra pregação além daquela sobre o juízo de Deus, só esta bastaria para fazer observar o Evangelho e viver santamente na Graça!". E na verdade não mudariam talvez tantos nossos comportamentos se muitas vezes tivéssemos a coragem de nos perguntar: Como gostaria de achar-me agora sob o Juízo de Deus? Tal recomendação nos vem feita também por São Tiago: "Falai e procedei como quem deve ser julgado!" (Tg 2,12). O Juízo de Deus será um verdadeiro juízo e glorificará sem fim a Justiça de Deus que "submeterá a juízo cada obra, por quanto escondida, boa ou má que seja". (Tg 12,14). Ao juízo de Deus nós aparecemos o que fomos, sem máscaras nem fingimentos, com todas as nossas culpas mais secretas e vergonhosas. Nada poderá fugir aos olhos de Deus, nem uma fragilidade, nem uma palavra ociosa. (Mt 12,36). Que confusão... Se não morrermos santos, será grande a confusão que provaremos. S. Jerônimo escreveu que lhe tremia o corpo inteiro somente em pensar no Juízo de Deus e os seus castigos. "No fim do ano escolástico - escreveu o servo de Deus, Dolindo Ruotolo - cada aluno se apresenta aos examinadores para ser interrogado. O mesmo acontece com a alma: aquela pecadora e obstinada no mal é condenada ao fogo do inferno; a alma medíocre vai ao Purgatório para reparar e descontar as suas penas; a alma toda pura é acolhida na glória e na felicidade do Paraíso". Eu te dizia gastar nos vícios e o resultado de todos os teus suores da semana e tu que tinha medo de dar um tostão de esmola, consumias nos bares com os amigos todo o sustento da tua casa. Não era leve o meu fardo! Mas tu o preferistes àquele de Deus." A quem recorreremos? O juízo de Deus somos nós mesmos a prepará-lo com a nossa vida. Qual será a nossa vida, tal será o juízo de Deus. "Cada um será réu segundo a própria obra", diz-nos Jesus (Mt 16,17). Mas se a vossa obra não tiver sido conforme o Evangelho, ou seja, tudo por amor a Jesus e aos irmãos (Mt 25,31-46) a quem poderemos recorrer naquele átimo que será fulminante como um “piscar de olhos”? (I Cor 15,52). É antes, é agora que devemos providenciar em obter um juízo de salvação! (II Cor 6,2) é o tempo da misericórdia! Desde quando estamos em vida podemos obter a abundância de misericórdia recorrendo a Nossa Senhora. "Mãe de Misericórdia", como a invocamos na Salve-Rainha. E será uma Graça especial se nos extremos tormentos de vida podermos a Ela recorrer, indo com confiança ao trono da Graça para obter misericórdia! (Hb 4,16). São Maximiliano Maria Kolbe dizia que até se tivéssemos já um pé no inferno, se invocamos Imaculada, Ela nos obterá a salvação eterna.
