10/24/25 - Jim and Father Imbarrato faithfully unpack remarks made by Tucker Carlson at a Turning Point USA campus event at Indiana University, in which he characterized abortion as “murder… the same ritual that every civilization ever studied has engaged in… human sacrifice,” and asserted that “the only thing that matters is having children” in contrast to pursuing career ambitions. We'll examine how his sharp language, inviting students to watch an abortion video, calling termination “the most crazed level of fanaticism I've ever seen,” and challenging the “my body, my choice” rationale, intersects with Catholic teaching on the dignity of human life. Could blunt but honest remarks such as these be the answer to a culture increasingly desensitized to violence of all kinds?

10/23/25 - Catholic filmmaker Royce Hood shares the extraordinary story behind Incorruptible: The Life and Faith of Sister Wilhelmina, a new Catholic film that explores the miraculous discovery and profound holiness of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, foundress of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles. When her body was discovered remarkably preserved four years after her death in 2019, the world turned its attention to the quiet Missouri abbey she founded, but this film reveals that the true miracle began long before then in a lifetime of joy, humility, and fidelity to the traditional religious life. Born in 1924 in St. Louis, Sister Wilhelmina's deep love for Jesus and devotion to the Blessed Mother led her to found a flourishing community dedicated to prayer and sacred song. Incorruptible traces her journey from a young Catholic girl hearing Christ's invitation, “Will you be Mine?”, to becoming a spiritual mother whose witness continues to draw souls back to faith. Royce Hood discusses how the project began, what makes Sister Wilhelmina's story so timely, and how this film aims to honor her legacy and inspire a renewal of faith around the world. 10/22/25 - John Bradburne's journey from England to the heart of Africa is a story unlike any other. A decorated World War II veteran and Oxford-educated poet, he spent years wandering through Europe and the Holy Land in search of God's will. His path ultimately led him to Zimbabwe, where he devoted himself to caring for men and women with Hansen's disease at the Mutemwa Leprosy Settlement. Living in a tin hut with a rosary in hand and the Eucharist at the center of his life, John restored dignity to those society had abandoned. When he refused to abandon the lepers during the Rhodesian Bush War, he was kidnapped and killed in 1979, dying as he had lived in fidelity to Christ. Today, with thousands of documented favors through his intercession, John Bradburne's cause for canonization is advancing, and he is remembered as a modern pilgrim-poet and martyr of charity.

10/21/25 - Dr. Joseph Meaney has spent his life defending the sanctity of life on every continent, from Vatican halls to remote mission fields. In this powerful personal testimony, the internationally respected bioethicist and pro-life leader shares the journey that led him from studying history and Latin American culture to earning a PhD in bioethics in Rome, where he explored the moral challenges of conscience and health care. With over 25 years of pro-life missions in 81 countries, Dr. Meaney reflects on the moments that deepened his faith, shaped his worldview, and solidified his conviction that the Gospel of Life must be lived and proclaimed in every culture. This is the inspiring story of a Catholic scholar who chose to use his intellect and his heart to serve God and defend human dignity across the globe.

10/17/25 - Virginia's governor's race has become one of the most consequential political battles in the country, not just for partisan control, but for the future of pro-life protections in the Commonwealth. At the heart of the race is a stark contrast between candidates who promise to increase abortion access up to birth and those who have pledged to defend the unborn with concrete legislative action. We go beyond soundbites to examine the real policies at stake: late-term abortion legislation, taxpayer funding for abortion providers, parental consent laws, and conscience protections for medical professionals. We'll unpack how this race could either strengthen Virginia's emerging pro-life momentum or cement its reputation as a haven for abortion extremism. Drawing from Catholic social teaching and the witness of the faithful, we'll look at what faithful citizenship demands in moments like these, why this particular race is being watched nationwide, and how Catholics can engage not just with a vote, but with prayer, public witness, and courage. This isn't just another election; it's a defining moment for life in Virginia.

10/16/25 - Journey with us to the historic Our Lady of Martyrs Shrine in Auriesville, New York, a sacred site where the blood of the North American Martyrs, including St. Isaac Jogues, St. René Goupil, and St. Jean de Lalande, consecrated the land to Christ. With the help of Bill Baaki, a member of the Shrine's Board of Directors, we'll explore the remarkable history of this holy place, its connection to early missionary work in North America, and its role in the conversion of St. Kateri Tekakwitha. This weekend, the shrine will host a powerful event featuring the exposition of sacred relics and a 7-mile Eucharistic procession that invites the faithful to deepen their devotion and bear public witness to the Real Presence. Whether you're a local pilgrim or discovering this shrine for the first time, today's show will inspire you to encounter Christ in a place where faith was tested, proven, and forever remembered.

We'll explore what faithful Catholics can do to confront this cultural and legislative war with moral clarity, courage, and strategic action. 9/26/25 - We'll unpack the growing backlash against Cardinal Blase Cupich's decision to honor Senator Dick Durbin, a politician with a long record of supporting abortion. With seven U.S. bishops now speaking out against the award, this controversy raises urgent questions about scandal, unity, and the Church's public witness. Jim and Father Imbarrato bring a strong pro-life perspective to the discussion, examining why honoring a pro-abortion leader undermines Catholic teaching, how the bishops are responding, and what faithful Catholics can do to defend life and truth in a culture of confusion.

9/25/25 - In this powerful episode, we sit down with Bishop Joseph Strickland to discuss his recent pastoral letter “The Shot That Shook the Church,” published on Pillars of Faith. When a bold Protestant voice was suddenly silenced, many Catholics found themselves looking outside the Church for courage, and Bishop Strickland challenges us to ask why the Bride of Christ has grown timid and why the world now looks elsewhere for prophets and heroes. Together we explore the spiritual and cultural implications of this event, the Church's response and missed opportunities, the urgent need for renewed courage and bold Christian witness, and practical steps for rekindling the fire of faith in our time. 9/22/25 - What if the Church was never meant to stay frozen in time, nor blown around by it? In this conversation, Dr. Jim Papandrea unpacks his latest work The Original Church, cutting through the noise of “tradition versus trend” to rediscover what Jesus actually intended when He said, “On this rock I will build my Church.” The earliest Christians weren't stuck in the past, nor chasing cultural relevance - they were rooted in Christ, growing in faith, and guided by a clear purpose. Dr. Papandrea reveals how the Church can develop without drifting, grow without losing its core, and how each believer today can live with conviction and clarity in a world that constantly shifts around us. 9/19/25 - Jim and Father Imbarrato take a deep dive into Justice Amy Coney Barrett's new book, Listening to the Law: Reflections on the Court and Constitution. With sharp Catholic insight, they unpack what Barrett reveals - and what she leaves unsaid - about the sanctity of life, constitutional interpretation, and the future of the pro-life movement. Drawing on past public clips and speeches, we'll compare Barrett's earlier statements to her current writings, asking whether her messaging has shifted since joining the Supreme Court. Does her book provide real hope for ending abortion in America, or does it reflect the cautious language of judicial restraint?

9/18/25 - In the first half of today's show, pro-life leader Pam Stenzel shares urgent insights into the lack of enforcement of Florida's heartbeat law and the ongoing battle to end abortion in the state. Then, Nathan Lloyd, Staff Counsel at the Thomas More Society, joins us to highlight a critical case in Massachusetts, where pro-life pregnancy centers are facing aggressive lawfare aimed at silencing their free speech and lifesaving work. Together, they shed light on the growing threats against the pro-life movement and what Catholics must do to defend the unborn and protect those who serve mothers in need.

9/17/25 - We unravel the extraordinary story of Servant of God Wanda Boniszewska (1907–2003), a Polish nun of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Angels, who offered her life as a mystical victim soul for the conversion of sinners and the sanctification of priests. Bearing the hidden wounds of Christ's Passion and enduring suffering under communist persecution, Wanda's life reveals the power of redemptive suffering united with Christ. In this video, we explore her hidden mystical experiences, her diary, her mission of intercession, and her cause for canonization, inviting the faithful to rediscover the beauty of holiness in silence, sacrifice, and total surrender to God's will.

9/16/25 - Marcie Erickson shares her powerful personal testimony and the story behind the founding of the Grace Center Foundation in Ethiopia. Marcie explains the foundation's mission to care for orphans, provide education, offer prison ministry, and bring the hope of Christ to those most in need. She also reflects on the challenges of mission work, the miracles she has witnessed, and how Catholics everywhere can join in supporting this life-changing mission. 9/15/25 - We sit down with Samuel Morales, one of the creators behind The Official List of 100 Movies Every Catholic Should See, a two-year project that brings together films from across genres, eras, and cultures to highlight stories that resonate with the Catholic imagination. More than just a “religious movie list,” the project explores how both explicitly faith-based films and secular classics can reveal truth, beauty, goodness, and the drama of human virtue and vice. We discuss how cinema, through its art, storytelling, and emotional power, can form the imagination, spark deeper reflection, and even aid in evangelization by helping Catholics become discerning viewers rather than passive consumers. From timeless masterpieces like Star Wars to modern blockbusters like The Dark Knight, the list challenges audiences to see film not just as entertainment but as a way of encountering moral and spiritual truths that speak directly to the human heart. 9/12/25 - When Charlie Kirk was tragically shot in Utah, America witnessed more than a political assassination: we saw the devastating fruits of a culture of death that has been eroding the dignity of human life for decades. The culture that normalizes the killing of the unborn through abortion, that justifies euthanasia, and that numbs us to daily violence is the same culture that made such an act possible. As Catholics, we are called to recognize the spiritual roots of this crisis: when society rejects God and the sanctity of life, no one is safe. In this video, we reflect on how political violence is connected to abortion and other assaults on human dignity, why the Church insists on the inviolable worth of every person from conception to natural death, and how we must respond with both truth and charity. The tragedy in Utah is a sobering reminder that the pro-life mission is not optional - it is more urgent now than ever before.

9/11/25 - Catholic author Joseph Pearce discusses his new book Great Books for Good Men: Reflections on Literature and Manhood, originally commissioned by Exodus 90. Pearce reflects on how the treasures of classic literature, from Homer and Dante to Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, can shape Catholic men into virtuous, courageous, and holy human beings. He explains what inspired the book, how works such as The Odyssey, The Divine Comedy, Beowulf, and Hamlet remain relevant today, and why literature is a powerful guide for forming virtues like humility, courage, chastity, and wisdom. In a culture that often misunderstands masculinity, swinging between toxic extremes and weakness, Pearce shows how the great authors offer an alternative vision of authentic manhood rooted in the Catholic tradition. Great Books for Good Men is more than a literary reflection; it is a roadmap for men striving for virtue, holiness, and authentic self-giving. 9/10/25 - Yvonne-Aimée of Jesus (1901–1951) was a French mystic, visionary, and Augustinian nun whose hidden holiness shook the 20th century. From a young age she experienced mystical visions of Christ and the Virgin Mary, later becoming known for miraculous healings and the powerful prayer she received from Jesus: “O Jesus, King of Love, I put my trust in Thy merciful goodness.” During World War II, she fearlessly hid members of the French Resistance and Jewish refugees from the Gestapo inside her convent, narrowly escaping arrest and torture. After the war, she became Mother Superior of the Augustinian monastery in Malestroit, where her life of heroic charity, extraordinary mystical gifts, and devotion to the Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy inspired countless souls. In this episode, we explore her visions, miracles, prophecies, and her witness of courage in Nazi-occupied France. Yvonne-Aimée of Jesus stands as a radiant example of Eucharistic devotion, Marian consecration, and trust in God's mercy amidst suffering.

9/9/25 - Catholic writer Rob Marco returns to share his personal journey from the grip of mental illness to healing and peace in Christ, as told in his Catholic World Report essay “Sitting in His Right Mind: On Being Healed from the Power of Mental Illness.” A husband, father of three, and theologian with an M.A. in Theology, Rob opens up about years of battling inner turmoil, disorientation, and despair before a moment of grace set him on the path to restoration. He reflects on how prayer, the sacraments, and the support of his family and community helped him reclaim his sense of self and rediscover his identity as a beloved son of God. Through candid storytelling and spiritual insight, Rob reveals how his experience of being “in his right mind” after years of struggle speaks directly to Catholics today who are searching for healing, stability, and a deeper encounter with Christ.

9/8/25 - Sister Betty Ann McNeil, D.C., Vincentian Scholar-in-Residence at DePaul University and leading expert on the Setonian tradition, joins us to discuss her work as editor of the new Ignatius Press edition of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton: A Spiritual Portrait. This classic text, originally compiled by Sulpician Father Joseph Dirvin, gathers Mother Seton's own writings, letters, and reflections, offering a window into her deep love for Scripture, the Eucharist, and God's providence. In this interview, Sister Betty Ann explores how Saint Elizabeth's experiences as a widowed mother, convert, and founder of the Sisters of Charity shed light on concrete challenges like raising children in the faith, facing loss with hope, and building Catholic education in America. 9/5/25 - UN Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem has released a major report urging all 193 UN member states to ban surrogacy, exposing exploitation in the billion-dollar industry where women often receive only 10–25% of fees and face serious health risks like preeclampsia and gestational hypertension, as well as the trauma of being separated from their children. At the same time, the Trump administration is backing away from IVF mandates and promoting Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM), a controversial alternative that emphasizes lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, and surgery; critics warn it delays effective treatment, while groups like the Heritage Foundation push new laws, with Arkansas already requiring insurance coverage. In Texas, lawmakers are cracking down on chemical abortion pill trafficking, stepping up enforcement as abortion access shifts online. Stay tuned for Catholic analysis and pro-life commentary on the latest developments shaping the future of life, family, and faith!

9/4/25 - Catholic author and journalist Kevin Wells returns to share two modern miracle stories shaking the Church today. First, the inspiring witness of Fr. John Hollowell, who in 2018 offered his sufferings for victims of abuse, enduring seizures, a brain tumor, and depression before experiencing a remarkable healing at Lourdes now under investigation. Then, Kevin tells the story of Fr. Jonathan Meyer, whose Indiana parish, once near closure, has been transformed into one of the most vibrant Catholic communities in America, modeled after the zeal of St. John Vianney. In this powerful interview, we explore how God is bringing renewal through both suffering and revival, and what these miracles reveal about the future of the Catholic Church. Find more of Kevin's work at https://kevinwells.org/

9/2/25 - Fr. Francis Mary Roaldi, CFR, a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal serving in the Diocese of Paterson, New Jersey, shares how his ordinary childhood in suburban Buffalo, once filled with simple dreams like Spider-Man and garbage trucks, slowly gave way to a restless search for meaning that ultimately led him to the priesthood. Though raised Catholic, faith wasn't central to his youth, and during college he drifted into depression and uncertainty until a providential conversation with a friend who “knew Jesus like a person” awakened him to the reality of God's love. From there, his journey took many turns: wrestling with relationships, questioning his place in the Church, and working as a caseworker in New York City before encountering the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. In the stillness of a chapel, he heard the life-changing invitation to “be a priest,” a call he embraced after years of prayer and discernment. Now, with over seven years of priesthood and sixteen years as a consecrated religious, Fr. Francis reflects on God's faithful love and the unexpected path that transformed his life and vocation.

8/29/25 - In the wake of the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis where two children lost their lives and many more were injured during a school Mass, we pause to reflect as Catholics on the sanctity of every human life and the urgent call to build a true culture of life. We'll offer a pro-life response to the heartbreaking violence, reminding us that children are gifts from God entrusted to our care, and their loss wounds not only their families but the entire Body of Christ. As we grieve with the Minneapolis Catholic community, we also seek hope in the Gospel, turning to prayer, Scripture, and the witness of our faith to guide us through sorrow toward action. In the face of senseless tragedy, our call is not to despair, but to deeper our commitment to protect the innocent, defend human dignity from conception to natural death, and work toward a world where peace, compassion, and love prevail.

8/28/25 - In this conversation, Catholic writer Rob Marco (Crisis Magazine) unpacks themes from his essays “The Dangers of the TLM Fight Club,” “What's Old Is New,” “The Wishful Thinking of Deathbed Conversions,” and “No Way Home.” He reflects on the growing appeal of the Traditional Latin Mass among younger Catholics while warning against turning it into an ideology, challenges the false security of hoping for last-minute repentance, critiques the shallowness of cultural Catholicism, and calls for a return to authentic discipleship rooted in virtue, repentance, and the transforming power of tradition. Read Rob's articles at https://crisismagazine.com/author/rob-marco

8/27/25 - What connects the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima (1917) in Portugal and Our Lady of Akita (1973) in Japan, and why are these messages so urgent for the times we live in? In this episode, we take a deep dive into the Marian warnings given to the world, exploring their striking similarities and what they reveal about prayer, penance, and the future of humanity. At Fatima, Our Lady called for conversion, the daily Rosary, and reparation for sin, promising peace if her requests were obeyed, and great suffering if they were not. Decades later in Akita, she repeated this urgent appeal, warning of coming trials, attacks on the Church from within, and the need for repentance. These prophetic messages are not relics of the past; they are unfolding before our eyes. Join us as we explore the profound connection between Fatima and Akita, the meaning of Our Lady's warnings for today, and how Catholics can respond with hope, faith, and courage.

8/20/25 - St. Margaret Clitherow (1556–1586), known as the Pearl of York, was a courageous wife, mother, and martyr who lived during the persecution of Catholics under Queen Elizabeth I. At a time when Catholicism was outlawed and priests were hunted, she bravely transformed her home into a refuge where the Mass could still be celebrated in secret. Her fearless devotion to the faith ultimately cost her life, as she was pressed to death at the age of 30 rather than deny her beliefs or betray the priests she sheltered. Canonized in 1970 by Pope St. Paul VI, Margaret's story continues to inspire Catholics as a powerful example of holiness lived in ordinary life through courage, sacrifice, and steadfast fidelity to God. This video explores her life, her hidden acts of heroism, the circumstances of her martyrdom, and why her witness remains so relevant today.

8/14/25 - In Seeking Truth and Speaking Truth, acclaimed political philosopher and legal scholar Robert P. George tackles one of the most vexing issues dividing Americans today. He argues that the “Age of Faith” of the Medieval period and the “Age of Reason” of the European Enlightenments have been followed by a modern “Age of Feeling,” in which people derive their beliefs not from faith or reason—or faith and reason—but from emotion, which becomes the central source of truth. And so, many have embraced a fierce moral absolutism on the basis of beliefs that are the products of nothing more than subjective inclinations and experiences. We'll also ask Dr. George about the U.S. Supreme Court's looming decision on same-sex marriage and whether the original ruling may be overturned. Get the book HERE

8/13/25 - Born in rural Oklahoma in 1935, Blessed Stanley Rother was a diocesan priest who answered the call to serve as a missionary in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala, where he ministered to the indigenous Tz'utujil people for 13 years. He learned both Spanish and the local Mayan dialect, translated the New Testament into their native language, and worked tirelessly as a pastor, teacher, and friend amid growing political unrest and violence. As government death squads began targeting Church leaders who defended the poor, Fr. Rother refused to abandon his flock, famously declaring, “The shepherd cannot run at the first sign of danger.” On July 28, 1981, he was assassinated in his rectory, becoming the first U.S.-born priest declared a martyr by the Catholic Church.

8/6/25 - St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, born Edith Stein (1891–1942), was a brilliant Jewish philosopher who became a Catholic nun and martyr at Auschwitz. Raised in a devout Jewish family in Germany, Edith lost her faith in her teens and became an atheist while studying philosophy under Edmund Husserl, becoming one of the leading minds in phenomenology. Her conversion began after reading the autobiography of St. Teresa of Ávila, leading to her baptism in 1922. In 1933, she entered the Discalced Carmelite Order and took the name Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, offering her life as a sacrifice for her people and for peace. Arrested by the Nazis and sent to Auschwitz, she was martyred on August 9, 1942. She was later canonized by Pope St. John Paul II in 1998 and declared a co-patroness of Europe.

8/5/25 - Missy Reilly Smith is the founder and president of WAKE UP (Women Against the Killing & Exploitation of Unprotected Persons), a 501(c)(3) charity she established after reading a 1999 exposé in The Washington Times about abortionists torturing infants and selling body parts, a catalyst that led to her lifelong commitment to pro life activism. A mother who openly acknowledges her own abortions and now counsels others through prayer, sidewalk outreach, and training programs, Missy has organized high-profile demonstrations, including 100 consecutive Rosary rallies outside the White House in 2009, and produced WAKE UP Chronicles, a magazine promoting chastity and pro-life education. She has twice run for political office, using striking campaign ads that brought national attention, and continues to spearhead legal efforts, including a class-action suit for women allegedly harmed by abortion medications. She frequently takes her mission to the streets, Congress, and beyond, undaunted even by arrests, determined to “save children's lives in the light of Christ.” Learn more at https://www.wakeup.mom/
