After much consideration, Armando and Marisol decided to move back home to Salinas, CA where their daughters could be surrounded with family. After 10 years in the restoration industry, Armando opened his company, Soria Contracting and Solutions in January 2021, offering water damage clean up and mold remediation services. On today's show, we are honored to sit down and chat with the incredible Jameson Emling. Jameson is an accomplished sales leader and entrepreneur, with experience in a multitude of verticals in his tenured professional career. His early experience as a Strategic Business Developer for a biotech startup, MedTech Detect, built an understanding of both capital fundraising as well as the compliances nuances of obtaining patents around the globe. Stefan started his working life with his family business Elnik at the age of 14, working through all areas of the business as a utility style team support member performing a variety of tasks in the stockroom, machine shop, assembly, shipping/receiving, and engineering. Shifting career focus to finance, he later graduated from the University of Delaware with a business degree focused on finance and economics and spent 4 years working as a financial planner for individuals and businesses. After much learning both financially and personally, but not really satisfying the technical side of his brain, he rejoined his family business working through all areas of customer service, field service, operations, general management and now leads the organization with a passion for education and support to the metal part making industries and the company's employees. He spent 6 months improving his technical processing knowledge working at the Fraunhofer Institute in Bremen, Germany alongside many research and development colleagues.
