MOST SALES ADVICE OUT THERE TODAY IS OUTDATED, CHEESY, AND CAN EVEN KEEP YOU FROM GETTING THE DEALSWalker goes solo in today's show, as he talks about some sales advice causing sellers trouble instead of success because of its outdated and cheesy nature. We will also be tapping into the problems with some clients and why there are times that we also have to decline them. Tune in and learn more about how to spot these problems and stop them in this latest episode of the No BS Sales School podcast. HIGHLIGHTSWALKER: Sales training has been sold the wrong way all this time“A lot of people have been raised to believe and they've seen that sales training is an event, it's not a process, and again, this is common. This is how sales training has been sold for a long time, we're gonna come in and rev your people up and give them some great ideas and send them on their way. Reality is that doesn't change sh*t.”WALKER: What do you really have to do on a sales call“Your job when you're on a sales call is to understand why they need your help. What are they really looking for? Does it really matter? Do they have to fix it? Or is it something that would be nice to fix it? Maybe not? Because if something would be nice to fix, maybe not, whatever you show him is way too damn expensive. If your sales cycle is really long, chances are you're going after people who say ‘ ‘yeah, that'd be nice, but I don't have to.” Where to find Walker:LinkedInTwitterInstagramFree training coursewww.walkermckay.com

HAPPY MONDAY MOTIVATION Welcome back to the weekly podcast, No More Excuses. Thank you for being here with me and spending this shit show of a year with me! If you’re new to this podcast, welcome and, I look forward to you connecting with me on social media! Instagram, LinkedIn and my business FB page as you don’t want to see my posts of tacos and running haha. In last week's podcast, I challenged all of you to get rid of your excuses. Yes, I even gave you an activity to do so! Did you do it? How would I know unless you showed me or posted that you did, otherwise I have to trust you!! What did you write down and HOW did you rid yourself of those pesky-ass excuses? What did you say you would NO LONGER DO? In this week's podcast, I share a few examples - we could be here all day if I shared them all - but if you did not sure with me, why not?  I did an OK job of “not eating when I’m not hungry” and lost 1lb or so! I’ve honestly been so bored, that I was just snacking my life away. But, what's going on... why am I eating when I'm not hungry? And no, that's not an excuse, that's what I want to NO LONGER DO (had to listen in to understand!) You can download lots of resources on my website badassbusiness.coach/DIYResources. You can also sign up for an online DIY system that has access to all the worksheets, you can utlize the system to track actions, progress on goals using metrics if you’re into that much detail and a ton more. The main thing is, finding ways to check yourself. Especially with the Holidays upon us! Own it if you screw up, and well, making sure you’re hearing – this is what coaches do – what you are NOT saying! Yep, just what I said. What are you NOT saying? What’s behind the curtain – the underlying meaning in regards to the excuses you are giving? What do you want to get rid of? Even with what I want to "no longer do", a coach would ask me in this case, “Why are you doing that”? “What’s behind the eating when not hungry?”  Yes, even a business coach, like myself, asks personal questions to DIG DEEPER to find out what is NOT being said. What’s BEHIND THE CURTAIN of the lack of progress. Remember what I say, “life gets in the way of business and careers”. Listen in this week as I DIG DEEPER into this topic, and get you REFOCUSING on what motivates you, as it keeps the excuses at bay and the progress going. It helps you keep kicking ass – being BADASS! To FINISH THIS YEAR STRONG-ER than you thought possible, you have to QUIT HIDING behind the blame and excuses, and FOCUS ON WHAT MOTIVATES YOU! You in? Email me – post here, DM message me. SCHEDULE A DAMN SESSION WITH ME if you can’t figure it out or the negative shit is keeping you from seeing it. Have a great week... please, make sure you're focusing or RE-FOCUSING if you need to. Cheers Sandi

Here she explains how AI will impact every sector, how it will boost creativity, and how it will increase fulfilment by taking over the mundane parts of our day-to-day tasks. Rhonda admits that AI will make many jobs redundant, but says rather than being frightened, you should adapt, and explains what people need to do to get ahead of the curve. She says employees need to open their eyes to prepare for the future, and companies need to keep pace – or risk being left in the dark.

Have you ever wondered why we have so many labels when it comes to business...there’s self employed, small business owner, independent contractor, entrepreneur, and much more. What does it all really mean? Can you be one and not the other? I consideder myself to be a small business owner but also self employed and an entrepreneur. Does the label make a different? Ultimately, the title doesn’t matter as long as you are happy with the path that you are on. To me, all of these are people who are on their own journey and can make their own rules like today’s guest- Shante’ Martin, a self employed accountant, who wanted to have the balance between motherhood and her career.
